Even for a rookie coach, if he wins a lot of games, then the players will have no choice but to respect him more because he knows what he is doing. Compared to the situation he is in right now. A rookie coach who just led his team to the worst loss in over a decade isn't exactly helping him earn any respect from the veterans in the lockeroom.

Although the logic of letting Leo prove himself before giving him money makes some sense, the fact is we are putting Leo in a situation in which he is a lot more likely to fail than succeed. And his failure would be the fault of the management rather than him. If you want the man to prove himself, give him a decent squad capable of competing rather than forcing him to be a magician.
We need an extraordinary coach to take over the reigns of this successful club. He needs to be someone who can fit in to the league of Sacchi, Capello and Ancelotti. If Leo can pull off a third place finish, it would be solely because of his ability because our composition is that of a mid table team's. This would give us a sign that this man really has the potential to be in that league. This would be the ultimate test of Leo's abilities. However, I do agree that he should have been given at least one more player in a FB. However he also has to learn to manage without his perfect team especially when he has a stubborn owner in Berlu.

Kaladze's an embarassment. Both own goals were his fault imo. The first he should have just left alone as the keeper had it and the second I simply don't understand how he managed it. It seemed easier to clear than to score the own goal, he simply messed up.

He should have been sold this summer, it's really as simple as that. He's become a liability like Oddo at Milan and as much as I appreciate their contributions in the past, neither has a place in Milan now, they're disgraceful atm.

Brasileiro, is this the Jucilei player you meant?

Kaladze is an easy target now, people should just stop speaking about him the way they do, he was very unlucky in his game, it's already very difficult for him in his country (medias bash him like no other media anywhere else ever did), so let's try not to joke too much about him, I hope that Italian medias won't do it each time Kaladze plays now.

At least, as Milan fans, let's give him another chance, the guy will need some confidence and some support, if his country and his club don't give it to him, who will ?

I agree Geo its hard for him and I do feel for the guy.Two tremendous goals though I was shocked that they were good goals , it sounds like Im mocking now. He will need all the confidence and support he can get now especially if he is going to play for Milan again.

Yep, this is the one that I talked.

Keep in mind that this young guy didn´t play all the games since he came to Corinthians, because his role was loaded in the team. It was Christian(underrated DM now in Galatassaray), Elias(great CM. Ronaldo is his biggest fan), Edu(ex-Valencia) and now Marcelo Mattos(former Corinthians captain).

Even with so many "big names" in the front, he manage to earn first team chances, and that can handle pressure... Impressive, because he came from a really small team.

I also like the way he conduct himself. Very humble and never complain. Just for technical reasons he need to be a the owner of the #5, but he understand he´s the young of the crew, that he wasn´t a big name when he came, and let his game speak for itself.

It´s not everyday you see a big DM so skilled. Jucilei will cost zillions in the near future...

Is there an advantage in getting Brazilians in January rather than the summer?

I believe it's because the season is over at that point, making Brazilian teams more open to losing their players.

Yep, Brazilian championship finish at the final of the year.

On a side note, I saw today that Globo TV(owner of the rights of Brasileirão) agree to adapt Brazlian calendar to European... So, it will make a little more hard to buy players from well organized teams like São Paulo, Internacional(the best youth academy today in Brazil).

They don´t sell easy like other teams like Cruzeiro or Rio de Janeiro teams. They generaly only sell one player(the great ones) for season. When they sell, as São Paulo shows last season, when they turned down 15 Mllions from Barcelona last season to keep Hernanes.

Btw, just finished to watch Internacional playing one more time, and Giuliano is really a star in the making. He was the MVP South America under-20 championship, but it wasn´t professional. Started Brasileirão as a sub, but right now is key player for Internacional.

The team is loaded, Internacional isn´t a one man show...but today, playing away from home, against a team that was in a great winning streak at home(number 5 in Brasilierão), they put a show... And all this with less 2 man on the field(2 red cards).

Today, besides the skills, Giuliano showed a amazing work rate and heart. Helped to organize the team on offense(with D´alessandro) but also helped a LOT on defense. Some times he was even the right back of Inter because of the less 2 players. Impressive performance(5 in a row that I could see) for the young man!

I hope this "new Kaká"(stupid pressure to put on the new sign) Galliani is talking about isn´t Marquinhos. It would be a disaster to buy Marquinhos and let a talent like Giuliano(in a position we have only a former amazing player) goes to another team...

So, apparently Javier Zanetti is going to bring Messi to Inter.

This is pretty stupid, but I just had to share an Inter fan's perspective on why Messi would come in a few years, rather than say, this coming season:

I can understand why Messi would like to go to Inter. Barcelona are a small club by comparison and Messi probably wants to step up to a bigger club like Inter. He might not be good enough for Inter now but in a few years he might have a developed a bit more and will be a good signing for inter.

Oh, silly Inter fans.

Hello Brasiliero! Thank you for your posts about new young talented palyers that have arrived on the scene.

I can catch Brasilian football pretty oftenly in here, mostly in replays during the day in here of course. So I've seen Corinthians play and I've also seen Internacional ( those two teams are oftenly on that sport channel that shows Brasilian football, tv shows about it etc. Only bad thing is that the channel is on HUNGARIAN language!! And if there is a language that is impossible to catch unless you have studied it then its hungarian! ).

I have to say that I've noticed DM from Corinthians and Giuliano for Internacional. But the games I saw with them were near the end so I just saw like half an hour of both players. To me the Corintihans DM showed extreme capacity for even more progress and showed extreme talent ( by looking at just the talent and capacity of the player he reminded me of young Kaka', when I watched him and said " this player can learn whatever you show him..." ). MAybe Im wrong but he looked like that. A bit raw still, but power and technique are there.

Giuliano I didnt saw much in that gane, few class touches was all I saw so I cant comment.

It is really hard for a European to watch Brasilian football and actually find a great player in there. It is a completely different football world and you need to have an excellent eye to know what are you actually looking for. Becouse dribblings and running is everywhere, but that isnt just what scouts are looking for...

Brasil's perfermance vs Argentina was simply terrifying to watch becouse there is a feeling that teams are simply unable to defend vs Brasil. Robinho, Kaka' and Fabiano(!!!) are creating so much space for eachother that practically Brasil needs 3,4 players in attacking phase to score vs big teams. We could have seen Milan of KAka'-Pato( a player that is already impossible to mark by ANYONE )-Fabiano... (Brasil uses Robinho deeped then Pato can play right now, he does a good job in there with his technique). Also BRasil showed that their defence is now perfect, and with players like MArcelo, Alex, Thiago, Alves who are not in the starting 11. Actually: Doni, Alves, Thiago, Alex, Marcelo, Motta, Hernanes, Mancini, Dinho ( hehe ), Pato, Amauri ( the idiot is thinking to play for Brasil or not! ), DIEGO, Anderson etc are all not in first 11. Some not in first 18. Remarcable...

I want to give the guy a chance, but how much longer can we put up with this? Apparently he's distraught after his performance, but honestly, the more I see of him the more I wonder how we could have sold him and replaced him with someone of greater use to us. It may have even helped him to get a fresh start as he's had bad times for a few years now (not even counting injuries).

Actually, I wrote my last post because, as far as I know, even if we want to sell Kaladze, Jankulovski or Oddo, the mercato is over, so we can want anything, they will be here at least until January, so let's try to do it with them at least until January, then if they are sold and replaced, that will be good, if they are not sold this winter, we'll have to try to do it with them until the next summer.

And when one of our players makes such a bad performance, I'm actually sad for him, but also for us as a club, because, as far as I know again, he is a Milan player and this kind of bad day won't help this player to be useful in the coming days (I think we can't expect him to be a starter in the next few games, even as a LB).
