Looks like Manchester City could get the same treatment as Chelsea:

Good riddance is all I have to say.

Geo Tav - I only want to say that I think how Ceasr is not on the same level as Buffon and that he will never be. Its not only about technical ability, Gigi is on another level of sport. Just my oppinion on this since you mentioned it when talking about Brasilians.

A question: I havent seen Chelsea much this year ( to take some rest from Carlo, haha ) - is Alex playing starting 11 or is it Carvalho?? Coz Carletto always said how Alex is the best CB in the world.

EDIT:

also, this banning of English clubs: I dont like EPL and I dont like their clubs ( except Blackburn who I like for last 10 years and support then in EPL ), but this is FIXED! Now all of the sudden FIFA and UEFA decided that they need to ban United, Chelsea, City etc. While Arsenal is doing it for years and years, for example. Italian clubs are doing it in Italy ( from smaller clubs taking players - Moggi ) for 20 years! This is a sewtup to English football for some reason we dont know!

And, oh the brave Platini ( who I despize! ) that always talks about salary cap and this and that, never mentioned how Perez was talking to Ribery, Alonso, Benzema etc - and everyone was still under contract. He offered money their clubs cant pay, and the players wanted to leave ( but Ribery had no luck coz Germans play fair in club football!). Milan had a deal with Dzeko, deal with Kaka', deal with Gilardino etc.

Its ridiculous and fixed! Ban them all or dont do it at all.

I don't see how it could be fixed. The way teams like Arsenal and even Manchester United poaches player's is just exploiting the fact that there are different rules in England, Italy and France, it may not gentlemenlike, but it is not against the rules.

What Chelsea has done is apparently against the rules, I'm not sure how exactly, but apparently it is. It's not like Platini goes and makes up his own rules just because he has something against English clubs, then I can guarantee that he wouldn't be in FIFA much longer. The fact is that Chelsea has breached a FIFA contract, and now is getting punished.

That Platini seems to have something against the English clubs is something different, it's hard to deny that he always has seemed Anti-English, but to suggest that Chelsea hasn't broken any rules is rediculess.

About Alex, as far as I know Carlo is playing Carvalho and Terry most of the time, infact he hasn't played Alex yet, although this might be because of injury? This could be good for us though, since Alex' contract expires in 2010.

my god no, Milan is an ITALIAN team! we should always look for italians first IMO.

there are many good italians who can be an upgrade for our team. sad thing is our management only looks for foreigners...

G.Rossi, Cassano, D'Agostino, Criscito, Santacroce, Giovinco, Cigarini, Paloschi, Marchetti
I hope we can score a few of them.
An Italian-Brazilian mix would be perfect ...

I don't know about Julio Cesar, for me, nowadays, Buffon and him are at a similar level ... I'm impressed by Cesar, I'm not that impressed anymore by Buffon (maybe it is like for some people with Ronaldinho, you know, after his amazing years in Barcelona, he did an "average" season with 20 goals or something like that, I don't have the stats, and everyone started to bash him because he wasn't as good as before, maybe it is the same for me with Buffon, he made such amazing things that now, I think it is normal and when he does a good performance, not great, I'm unhappy lol).

About all these bans, it is simple to understand: one club complained, the result is a ban for Chelsea, so of course, all the small clubs will now complain, and like English clubs, in the last years, are the ones who bought players everywhere, they will be the first teams to be banned ... but don't worry, all big clubs (including us) should be banned in a near future if these bans become official.

The rules are simple, when a player is under contract, the interested club must ask to the current club if they can speak to the player/agent of this player. If the current club says no, the interested one isn't allowed to contact the player/agent. So then, if you declare your interest directly in medias, you put some pression on the current club, especially if the player is then interested to leave, but it is in the rules.

What isn't in the rules is when the current club says no and that the interested club contacts directly the player or his agent, sometimes they use the family to do it, etc ...

If I'm wrong somewhere, or if something is missing in the explanation, just add ...

Loopholes.

The thing is that Coach and players can get away with statements like Player X is a great player and any team/player would love to play with him. FIFA or UEFA can't do a thing about that b/c it is just a statement claiming they admire Player X.

The thing about this Chelsea ban...to me it is all politics.

I think that Rummenige clearly and publicly stated what is the situaion with Ribery and Perez, but aguess Perez invested too much money into a new project so UEFA cant ban that. Im disgusted by UEFA's behavious in past years so I dont have nice things to say to those mafiosi in there.

Last circus act was when Eduardo got banned for 2 CL games for simulating a penalty vs Celtic. ( Im not sure was it a simulation or not, and I dont defend him coz he plays for my country, but those things are comical ). Players simulate all the time and everywhere, young players are stolen from bigger clubs everywhere and also all the time. Juve takes 80% of young players by just agreeing money fees with their families and there you go - home club gets nothing or almost nothing etc.

And not to speak of ilegal talking to players who are under contract ( Milan does that all the time ).

This thing with EPL clubs is some kind of a revenge or something from UEFA, there is not fair paly in there. Then Barca, Real, Milan, Juve, Inter should all be banned coz they do the same thing all the time for the past 20 years.

Jovetic is a player I've followed this season and some games of last season. He's a great talent and has alot of potential.....however I don't think he has what it takes to replace Kaka.

rumours from other milan boards say that Juande Ramos has recently received a phone call from Milano asking him if he would accept if Milan offered him the coaching role.
- I say no way. Leonardo all the way for me.

MRKI Its not an isue off tapping up a player talking to a player under contract. Its the fact that Chelsea got a player to break a contract even if it was a contract of intent to sign when he of the right age. Talking to a player under contract is one thing (that can and will get you fined) but getting a player to break a contract and walk away from the club that developed him with no compensartion is a completely different argument , there is no argument actually Chelsea were wrong and got punished. The same thing happened to Roma over Mexes in 2004 not sure what kind of punishment they got. And Milan , Juve , Inter , Barca , Madrid have never gotten a player to break any kind of contract ever to the best of my knowledge.

Roma got the same punishment... they weren't allowed to go into the transfer market for 2 sessions (but i think it was reduced to 1 on appeal)

Jovetic is a great player imo. At 19 he's been fantastic for Fiorentina for the past couple of seasons and is surely one of the best upcoming youngsters in Europe right now (though he's relatively unknown still).

He plays as a winger/attacking midfielder mainly though can also play as a forward. If he were to come, he'd be direct competition for Dinho. His technical ability is excellent though he can still improve in many areas and physically he's quite strong at his age. He's got excellent movement too, which is another bonus.

Should this guy develop his game then he'll be one of the best players in Italy (and the world game) in the future.

There are a few problems though. For starters, he likes to move into similar areas of the field to Pato, so if he does come he'd have to adapt his game. Also, at 19 he's really not likely to be ready to play an big part in Milan yet, he also isn't fully matured. Finally, Fiorentina know full well they've got a gem in their hands and aren't likely to sell him to a direct rival (especially at the prices we'd offer).

If he were to come for the same reason Di Gennaro came back, which is essentially as a youngster who could hopefully breakthrough at the club after maturing, then he'd be a fantastic purchase.

If we can get him I think we should, quite honestly if he can start for Fiorentinia right now, he can start for Milan. If we can add that kind of talent for 15-20 mil (hell throw in Di Gennaro too) We need a future attacking mid and he can do it. Huntelaar is only 25/26, Pato isnt 20 and if we add Jo to support them we could have a scary talented trident.
