Woohoo!
FT 0-0

I'm dying to see what comments Fester has for the team this time. Judging from what was said here, we were lucky not to LOSE to Livorno. The man has to see now that everything thats happened so far shows just how crap we are....

Lets see how we fare against the next opponents. Perhaps we can bore the opponents to sleep and then actually score a goal or something :P

I'll be laughing my ass off if we're out of contention for every possible competition by the end of December.

its not over rating huntelaar, it is wanting to see what he can do when passes do come his way.

Milan needs to add a midfield player to the team asap ronaldinho simply isn't good enough this guy is turning into a complete flop.

You can't compare, it's not fair. Huntelaar had Ronaldinho and 2 dead FBs "delivering" while Pipo had Pirlo and Abate. The difference is huge. Huntelaar did not get good deliveries at all.

wow.i didnt think it would happen but it did.dinho is officialy finished.he should be dropped from the entire squad, wtf was that team selection all about? oddo and janku? leo is starting to really worry me,i just hope he was resting zambro, pirlo and abate needs to start in cl.his first touch was the only cross we had, pato with a volley.the only good thing to come from this game was that leo pulled dinho off and showed some balls.but the fullback selection was disturbing.galliani had me in stitches though. we will get beat on tuesday in the vellodrome, god help us.hope springs eternal, hopefully tonite will force the changes on leo ie abate for ambro, pirlo for dinho, antonini for janku and zambro for oddo.ale kaka!

Oh my god that was terrible. We didn't look particularly vulnerable in the second like the first but there was a great disconnect again between midfield and forwards.

Pirlo is showing that he can play upfield and probably should be there. He still runs the risk of getting caught in possession but he showed that when there is movement he is easily capable of making oustanding one touch pass to open space. I think honestly our biggest problem is that we are too scared to concede and so we play with 2DMs. We can't do this anymore. We don't have the talent to score when we do. We need better ability to pass the ball and we lose that with Ambro/Gattuso.

On one hand I feel for Ronnie as he got a raw deal this game. Literally no connection between him and the midfield. Ambro was useless and Seedorf was too far back playing Pirlo's hopefully old role. Ronnie had to get the ball from our half a few times and the other times when he had the ball on their half it was him, Pato and Huntelaar vs 6 Livorno players. No chance.

Pirlo comes in, Seedorf moves upfield and Ambro and Flam play a little deeper and bam we can finally pass the ball around the pitch. Abate did show energy when he came in and a few good balls and possibly can be used as a sub in the future with more than just 13 minutes...maybe?

I literally have no idea why Leo brought Pippo on when it was clear we were lacking movement/passing in the middle of the pitch. It's almost like he either A) panicked or B) was told to. I mean Pato and Huntelaar were given very very few chances. It's not like they even had an opportunity to be dangerous.

Overall poor performance but on the plus side I thought Nesta and Silva played pretty well considering that at times it looked as though they were the only ones playing defense. Going to be a long year and an even longer 3 weeks

I am watching Real Madrid vs. Espanyol, Kaka giving incredible passes and gave the assisst to the first goal. We need him desperately right now.

I actually thought Milan could beat the small teams, but oh boy was I wrong. While Livorno didn't dominate, it wouldn't have been unimaginable for them to win. Not nice.

Well... another disappointing result.

As other people have said, Dinho has nothing to give to this team. The way things are looking now, Pirlo should be our trequartista in a 4-3-1-2 formation, instead of Ancelotti's diamond formation with a defensive playmaker.

On Tuesday I hope we field: Storari - Zambrotta, Thiago Silva, Nesta, Jankulovski - Abate, Flamini, Seedorf - Pirlo - Pato, Huntelaar

What this team really lacks though, is leadership. At the end of last season we lost two leaders in Kaka and Maldini, and that, I think, is our main problem. There's no player who sets an example for the rest of the team, spurring the other players on by simply being world class when it comes to skill and mentality.

*sigh*
