PS: In Europa League, they will try the "goal referees", the ones who will be behind the goals. If that works, it will be applied to all (European) competitions in 2012-2013, starting by Euro 2012.

Rukavina?well he hasnt played a lot since he joined panathinaikos,because ten kate always prefered other sc,the thing is that the other ones were never that talented..rukavina has some potential,but i dont think he has what it takes to be a to player,but u never know..

btw galiani could also say "we bought kaka for 8,and we sold him for 67"..he is such a genius..

I'm probably wrong but I think the whole idea is based on revenue in a club which may mean such obvious problems can be avoided. Don't take my word on that though, I've barely read up on the rule.

I think there was talkMilan will buy San Siro? No? To me that would be a perfect solution. Clubs are losing their identity in modern age, San Siro is something that labels Milan in a significant way. Inter can build their own if they want, fine by me.

I agree, San Siro is our stadium, we have to keep it !!

With the amount of money it would require for milan to buy san siro and then make the necessary modifications to make it up to par with other stadiums, we might as well build a new one and get it over with. Sooner or later, all stadiums have to be replaced by new ones.

But if both Milan and Inter build new stadia, what are the City of Milan going to do with the San Siro? Surely they can't use it for concerts etc. all year long. How are they going to raise enough money?

Also this stadium is a part of, and synonymous with Milan. And I don't want us to build a small stadium like Juve.

To build a new system without shelling a lot of money we will have to go outside of the city, somewhere similar to the locality of milanello (around 40 miles from city center). If Inter were to build a new stadium it won't be in the city because it would be way too expensive to find a site.

Galliani recently spoke that Milan wanted to buy San Siro. So I don't think we will be moving out. Also, renovating San Siro would be much cheaper than building a new 60000 seat stadium.

Whatever they want to do, they better get their acts together soon. Inter have plans underway, Juve should have their new stadium in a couple of years. We will lag behind if B and G don't act now. A proper, self-owned stadium will increase our revenue immensely.

Sooner or later the San Siro will become a thing of the past, as it's no spring chicken and safety takes precedence over history any day of the week. Heck, the Celtics eventually had to move out of the Boston Garden.

Yeah, but I'm sure they can put in some money and renovate the stadium to "modern" standards. That would be ideal. Because really, the stadium itself still looks great, the location is very good, and the over all atmosphere, phenomenal.

If only they can improve the seating, entrance area, and add the luxury boxes or whatever else they need to to improve income. Would be great to have the San Siro to ourselves.

B&G won't take the stand for a new stadium as they'll be dead before it's finished.

Besides we'd be stuck with the Berlusconi Arena then or something

For me the San Siro is still the mecca of footballing stadiums. Haven't been to Nou Cammp or Bayern's yet, but bernabeu is a rundown hidden place, Ajax is nice but plain imo, and others simply don't compare.

If we were to have a new stadium it should be a replica to San Siro, same name, stands named after Paolo, Franco, Gr-No-Li, & Kiplin, but with bigger capacity and better technology to improve the pitch. A hotel been part of it would be cool too.

I would love to keep the reconstructed San Siro to ourselves. That will be way cheaper than building a new stadium like this from ground up.

Is it possible to buy it out from the municipal ownership?

I don't know if it's going to be cheaper. The land is probably far more expensive than somewhere outside the city, like Inter are doing. There is value in the brand, but I'm not sure if it's the cheaper option. I just wish the management was more open about these things and reveal their plans.
