Here is some music to our ears, IF it's true (big if):
http://www.transfermarketweb.com/?ac...ad&idsel=45646

I would agree with dumping those players, except, who are we actually going to get to replace them? That's 11 players out the door and we know milan won't sign 11 new players in one mercato. What are they going to do, bring on the entire premieva team to fill out the roster?

Filipéz 182 is an unknown quantity at this point

Don´t get me wrong, Saliwonczyk... Raw talent is one thing... But, Marquinhos isn´t that good. Maybe he´s amazing in FM, but even at his best playing for Vitória(before he goes to Palmeiras), he was a good winger(max). Nothing more... There´s no way he will be a playmaker, Period!

Ok, period is too much, since it´s a opinion(my) and no a fact. But the time will tell the truth...

Also, no offence, but can you tell me when you saw this raw talent in Marquinhos? In the games he played at Palmeiras he was bad, and did not show nothing. Even Palmeiras fans labeled him as a bust...

After that, injured all the time. As I said, don´t get me wrong, but I´m just curious to know, when you saw the raw talent in that guy...

that seems like too many players to dump. "Goalkeeper Dida, wingbacks Gianluca Zambrotta, Massimo Oddo, Giuseppe Favalli, Luca Antonini and Marek Jankulovski, central defender Oguchi Onyewu, midfielder Clarence Seedorf, attacking midfielder Ronaldinho as well as strikers Marco Borriello and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar"

I understand Dida, Oddo, Favalli, Janks, Onyewu, and Dinho. Zambrotta is not all world like he once was, but he is still above average. Antonini cost next to nothing to have on the team, and it doesnt make sense to get rid of him before giving him a chance. Seedorf has played pretty well this term, and we just dont have a player to replace him (we did, his name was Gorcuff) Why get rid of the Hunter and Boriello? Huntelaar can still be a great striker for us, he just needs to get used to Italy. He didnt score in his first 8 games at Real, and then got like 8 in his last 12. thats good. he just needs to get used to playing at Milan, he isnt getting good service and we shouldnt be pulling him 70 minutes into the game. Boriello doesnt have a huge salary, he works hard, and he is good to have around as depth.

This list also doesnt make sense to me, because I would tend to think that Inzaghi retires after this season, and that if we start dumping player that Kala would be one of those that leaves.

We're not going to dump these players. When was the last time management did anything that remotely resembled common sense?

I remember in 2005 we brought in 11 players, yes sir.. maybe 2006... it was the year we got Elefthoropolous and Jankulovski.. and we didn't send out a big number of players.

Even though its possible, that's not happening. We might see 4-5 players out, not 11. My bet would be on Favalli, Oddo, Dida, Ronaldinho, Ambrosini(or did he just renew?). And even though Huntelaar so far has been nothing short of a FLOP I believe he deserves another chance with a better team.

But why the hell are we thinking of next year, we could be playing in Serie B! We need to focus on something to do right now.

11 players out in one transfer period? Eventhough it just happened to my favorite hockey team I don't see it happening at Milan
Something like 4 out 4 in would be a miracle if you ask me.

Hasan you are right, plus it doesn't make any sense, I believe Milan will not renew contracts for those players, but terminate their contracts is a bit impossible we are talking about contract clauses.
And I can't see a point keeping Kala, pirlo, gattuso and ambro untouched I mean damn we are suffering on the flanks but more on the middle we need midfield rennovation and the old guards are just past it, the type of players we have are not talented nor physical. Pirlo is not the same. Ambro and gattuso can't chase the ball like before. We really need new midfield. Full backs and at least 2 midfielder who can play football, and has a perfect engine

Come on guys huntelaar is a really good striker inside the box. But for godsake we never had a decent cross or pass towards the box lately even pato is medicore with the kind of setup we currently have

Nothing makes any sense anymore.

We are in a real sad situation. Chaos. Players perform....then they suck. Players play horrible....then show up for 15mins and do a great job. Strikers get blamed somewhere......... yet the midfield moves the ball so slow that anyone can defend our attacks. We needed players in the summer but never got them and now we are being linked with "so and so".......and then we are supposedly going to get rid of half or our players.
This circus just can't get any worse.....and the media is making the most out of it picking us apart.

The sad part is that one of the players that is being criticized the most (Ronaldinho) has arguably contributed the most to our attacking third in the times that he's played. And trust me, I'm no Dinho 'fanboy' but this only describes our desperate situation in the midfield. A guy that's out of form, supposedly partying day and night, gone turtle slow, and far away from his potential......has created the most scoring opportunities, has scored a goal, has a couple of assists.

So the changes are needed in the midfield if you ask me.

Brasileiro I know you will know this better than me, I watched Palmeiras couple of time, and player that cought my eye was Lenny. He was quick and created some problems for opposition. Is he a winger, or striker? What position does he play? How do you feel about him. He impressed me. Thanks

This "stripping down" process should have ocurred when milan failed to make the champions league, off the back of mostly the senior players.... Now it is too late, and damaging to dump so many players at once.

As for Marquinhos, you must rememeber he is still at the age of 19. To have already have shown enough brailliance to warrant the label of "New Kaka" means he is quite good. I know what you mean "Brasileo," but at this age, inconsistency is a factor of a player's growth....

Yes, but that is not the point. most good fullbacks are equally adept at both sides

What? That's not true. Very few fullbacks can play on both sides, that is why Zambro is so verstatile.

The more players we can part with this summer, the better. We need to build a new young fast team. The only sad part is that we couldve had a smoother transition. Shouldve bought the so-called replacements gradually within the last couple of years and slowly phase them in, kinda like Kaka when Rui Costa was still with us. Otherwise we undergo another transition year next year---who knows, at this rate, maybe even in serie b
