this is the first time i read this. and this is the first time mentioned to media. ok we waited for 3 years let us wait for another 3 months it wont do us any harm. if we still suck like now then this is the new milan get used to it or follow another sport because quite frankly i found out its not football what i watch its just milan.

What is wrong with the contract with Emirates??

Emirates should get us some money to buy some players

What about going for Poli of Sampdoria? From what I've seen, which is limited to be fair, I like the look of him. Definetly going to have a bright future in front of him. Is Di Gennaro still injured or is he just not in the picture right now?

could Pato have played for Brazil in the U-20 WC? It might not have been a bad idea to have let him get some confidence against younger players and then have used maybe Dinho and Huntelaar as strikers. Our midfield cant give service right now.

who believes in a more positive season without any major signings in january? can you guys see this team perform much better with the same players?

IMO we wont reach CL football and must be lucky to play euro league. I think this team simply lacks quality becouse of the age of most players, most of our ex-stars are on their last legs... we need fresh blood

let us see what we have in Antonini. He played some games last year and I am sure is really wants to prove himself. He cant be worse than Oddo and Janks. Abate should be playing in the midfield. Our midfield has be pretty dreadful so far. Let Abate and Janks play on the outside with Pirlo and Flamini in the middle. 4-4-2 might work for the time being. Huntelaar needs to start getting full games to prove himself. He is a really good player that just needs to adjust to Italy. Also, let Zambro play more defense and less pushing up. he is still a good player, dont make him push up as much

Yeah, but where does it say that our sponsors will pay DIRECTLY for player purchases? As far as I know, sponsors only add to the revenue and in the end it is managment that decide how much money to spend on the market. If we decide to continue balancing books, I dont forsee any buys unless we sell first, or trade. If we decide to splash out then we get Uncle Berlusconi to inject some cash or we go back into debt....

Yes Pirlofan, that is the big question. Can we really dump Dida, Oddo, etc? At the wages we're paying them, I don't think so. The only way to make a big worldclass, expensive purchase is for someone to inject money into the club, otherwise we go back into debt--which really is not abnormal for a football club, is it? Man Utd are in massive debt, so are Liverpool, oh and not to mention Real Madrid. Honestly, I'd be happy for Silvio to start making the club his own again and start buying some class players. I miss the days when every top player would make a move to Milan (and then of course flop and go on the cheap elsewhere --but then again that's another debate)...

it will be much tougher to not be in debt if we do not quilify for Europe. There are quality young players that can be had for not too much. The big clubs you mentioned are 100s of millions in debt. we are even or with a slight surplus. we can afford to spend 50 mil on three or four good players. the San Siro has been almost empty due to poor performances. much money is being lost due to the poor state of the team. honestly, if we buy the two young Genoa defenders and Magira from Parma, we are a very good team again.

milannews.it are linking us with Filipe Luis from Deportivo. I've only seen him a couple of times, but he seems like a pretty complete full back to me. He's 24 which is pretty much he perfect age for us in my opinion, young, but old enough to play from the get go. He also just got his debut for Brazil last week.
