Has Ligue 1 suddenly improved ??
Lyon seems to be back at a very good level and Bordeaux is very solid, even at the European level this year ...

Liverpool 1-2 Lyon (first with 9 points)
Bordeaux 2-1 Bayern (first with 7 points)

These 2 French clubs will be difficult to beat (for Marseille, they will be beaten by ... us, and why not, they will maybe beat Madrid ?! ).

Despite these excellent results for French clubs (it was a long time since the 3 clubs won their game the same day, that maybe never happened ... and two of them beat a big club), people keep talking about our win over Madrid !! This victory just gave us some credibility again !!

You can tell Ricky is Milanista still, he was handing out more hugs than passes last night, he never shot when normally he would have ran through and shot/scored, and when he did shoot the shots were softer than some of his passes!

From last night on Sky Italia Kaka gave an Interview he said

“I am only disappointed Pato did so well tonight against my team!” grinned Kaka on Sky Italia television.

an then Oddo said

"Kakà? Probabilmente stasera ha pensato perché non sono rimasto a Milan?”

Which if my Italian is correct says something along the lines of
Kaka? he probably thinks why didnt i stay at Milan?

Yesterday while watching the game not for a minute, i was affected by the fact that Kaka was our opponent...but that was in the heat of the game!!!

I presume Brasileiro was referring to the times Leo worked for the BBC as a pundit during the last world cup (and maybe European Cup, I can't remember).

What Leo said during that time was always really insightful which none of the other pundits would ever see. He showed intelligence and a LOT of knowledge of football. There's nothing particularly specific that you can quote him on, but when he was a pundit it was always worth listening to what he had to say about matches.

He reminds me a lot of Boban (who I would love to see in a role at Milan personally), in that when he talks his intelligence shows and generally he has something important to say (except now in many pre and post match interviews where he just says the usual neutral things all managers say).

The German clubs have been struggling too, which looks good for Italy keeping their 4 CL spots. Funny thing is that one of the best players for both of those clubs should be playing for us! (Cissiko for Lyon and Gorky for Bordeaux)

i felt seriousley sad last night, seeing Kaka hand out hugs to our guys more than he gave passes to his own team mates, he seemed to be either playing on 40% on purpose or he just does not have the same passion and drive like he did when he was with us, many Madridsta's are saying he seems to be a waste of money, that he does not seem intrested or happy etc

His Passion will never be the same. He loved Milan, he thought he would get the same playing for RM but i think he realizes he is only a $ sign for that club nothing else. He was loved by players fans and Milan itself.

It's very sad indeed, especially when Madrista's are saying something like that. Kaká a waste of money? That's laughable. It's so sad that he plays in a club that doesn't appreciate his talents, and who's fans are both ruthless and only interested in glamour.

Admitedly I havn't catched the last couple of Real Madrid games, but I saw the first few, and Cristiano Ronaldo might have scored quite a few goals there, but make no mistake, Kaká was by far the best player in those games I saw. Cristiano Ronaldo was actually playing rather embarresing in the first couple of games, even though he did score, a couple of goals. Apparently he has started playing better, but all this crap about Kaká not playing well in Madrid is rediculess, at least based on the first couple of games, and it makes me sad that he plays in a club with fans that can't recognise his talents, in Milan he was loved by everyone, I can't believe he could leave that.

Also talking about Real Madrid, I don't think Benzema will last another year there if he keeps playing like he does. Maybe we should consider picking up whatever players fall of from that club, I have no problem with that, Inter have gotten their best players that way.
