If he comes Hunter will leave Milan, so wecan only expect ( immagine ) that he will play CF, with Dinho left, Pato right. Using the position rotations of course.

But never say never with fishy jobs that Galliani is leading. "new sponsors", all the thanx to Emirates etc...

Your thoughts about Suarez from Ajax Brasiliero? As some Croatian papers say Milan is close to the player for january. We already discussed him in here.
Yep, but imo Neymar isn´t ready for Europe. Maybe coming of the bench, but we need help now. Pato at 16 was deciding games for Internacional, in Brazil and South America. To be fair, I saw Neymar deciding games for Santos, but not at the same level. With the money Santos will ask, we could buy Giuliano, Jucilei and maybe Hernanes...

Remember that I bet Pato was worth the money in the past, even at 16yo... but I can´t say the same for Neymar. The potential and talent is out of this world, but the risk also. And it´s not like Giuliano, Jucilei or Hernanes didn´t have potential also...

Regarding Suarez, saw great games by him with Ajax, but also disappoiting ones with Uruguai. But most important, when the challenge was against a big opponent(like my Brazil), he disappointed. It is what I say about Zapata, and said wit Perea before... It´s just my opinon, but I don´t trust a player for Milan that choke in the "big stage".

And before someone bash me saying that because he isn´t Brazilian, in the fullbacks conversations, I said that I chose this underrated Uruguayan(Maxi pereira) over Rafinha:
http://www.slbenfica.pt/Informacao/F...dJogador=27890

Now, this is a guy that I saw playing great for Benfica, but also one of the few that shone for Uruguay against Brazil, and more than just one time.

So... no, I´m not in the L. Suarez bandwagon. Sure he can prove me wrong if he come, but for me is the same case of Huntelaar. Both are good players(Suarez better), but not for a environement like Milan...

Galliani said an "attaccante esterno", which can be translated like a winger/striker going on a side, would arrive in January ... because we only have Ronaldinho and Pato able to play this role.

I was kind of hoping that Milan would consider a bid for Alexis Sanchez even if he is about to sign a contract extension, I think it would be better for Milan to up a player already familiar will Serie A as Milan will be buying in mid season and Sanchez has a whole host of qualities that can't be found in the other supposed transfer targets. Personally if it was up to me i would close the door on south Americans for a while and focus on getting Italian talent like Candreva Motta Giovinco Mustacchio Bocchetti. If you evaluate the current transfer targets you would begin to see that the players are either too underdeveloped or too expensive Neymar is going to cost a absurd amount of cash and isn't fully developed as a player yet Suarez would have difficulties adjusting to a league where any space to play is limited and Rafinha another than his non eu status he is overpriced overrated arrogant has had very little experience of first team football this season and Hernanes is the Brazilian version of Pirlo do we really need another player similar in all respect to Pirlo.

You would think that Milan management has learnt it lesson with a dozen or so young South American players rattling around in the primavera team over the last 4 year who haven't accomplishing anything is astonishing. As for buying South Americans for the first team Milan is currently having 1 player out of every 3 transfers that go on to be a success, 08 Milan brought Emerson Pato Grimi and earlier on Ronaldo only Pato went on to be a first team success story In 09 Milan brought Viduez Cardacio Felipe Thiago Silva and Ronaldinho same phenomenon Silva is a success while Ronnie fluctuates.
It is madness there is already a whole host of foreign talent in Serie A and B there is no limit on how many foreign player Milan can buy from the leagues. The notion that all Milan recruit should came from South America is crook the amount of washout Brazilians in Europe is daunting even the most promising talents end up failing eventually.

The only exemption i can think of is Porto a more Extreme example of what Milan is going through never the less they have sold every single superstar within their team for the past 5 years and yet they still are able to be competitive. Porto only achieve their success by spreading their scouts around the world bringing in players from J league like Hulk players from Mexico like Farías players from Italy like Mariano González while at the same time searching every South American country for talent. Even than Porto best players have been Portuguese

Thats not fair and wise, johncharles365... You close the door to a region of the world(why not close for other parts of Europe also?) because of this?

I´m not a fan of Suarez or some names that I see on the press, but what did these "Italian talent" that you wrote has show to think they have no question mark also? Just because they are Italian? They have show nothing to not be label ONLY as promises, and some(like Jovinco) are treading the way to be labeled underachieves and bust. At least Suarez(that I don´t rate that high) is leading a big team in Holland.

Btw, this whole Serie A thing is overrated. Gila was a amazing CF(and Italian) and what happened in Milan? We need player that can deliever in the pressure of a team like Milan, and nothing more. What is wrong is go outside of Italy to buy a squad player(like Antonini and Bonera), as we did with Grimmi and if the rumours are wright are trying with Juan Maldonaldo and this Fernandinho guy.

Regarding Hernanes, I would welcome with open arms a young and more athletical Pirlo any day. Pirlo is not that good now, but was one of the most amazing CM that I saw in my life. Pure class that I would desire that I had played for Brazil NT.

Sorry, but what the Italians and Europeans had acomplished in our primavera the last 4 years? We need to improve our academy and its clear, but why the place where a player is born has to do be in discussion? You don´t like because they are South American? If I misunderstood you, sorry, but your point is in the border of the xenophobia

And the Oddo´s, Zambrotta´s, Favalli´s, Antonini´s(until now) and Vieri´s just to throw a few names?? You throw names of HUGE question marks signings from a part of the Globe to stand your point? The majority here were aware of these risk signings, but they are no different of the names I put above.

Emerson was past of his prime(and came from Europe), Ronaldo also(but helped a lot in a short time), Ronaldinho didn´t want more to pay the price of a professional athlete, and the young ones(Grimmi, Cardaccio and Viudez) were nobody here if you ask me

I know(and the History shows with deplorable cases) that in difficult times, the blame are put in the foreigns or people that are considered inferior, but to bring this also to football is lame(the word I wanted to use wasn´t that)...

Serie A imposes much more barriers than England, and EPL is in a better shape than Serie A right now. But the bold part is a bunch of... Let´s forget to not be edited by mods.

So, Brasileiro, lets be civilized...

Can you tell me the names of these most promising Brazilians that end up failing in Europe nowadays? I want names for a real debate, and not a bunch of prejudice empty opinions...

Like in the last Champion they won with Deco as the star??? Their "best" player after that(Quaresma) really lead the team to Glorys like Deco

As Brasiliero said, and to make it short, the problem these last few years hasn't been the nationality of the players we bought but only their quality ...

We can buy players from South America, North America, Oceania, Asia, Africa, Europe, another planet, we don't care as long as they are quality players who will bring something to the club !!

Easy: create a private part of the forum for MilanMania members and give an account to people from our management ... Brasiliero would post his reports there, allowing us to react and our management to be aware of the work of Brasiliero ...

Who calls Galliani ?

Primavera accomplishments have been slow to came by in recent years if where to analyse the team you would begin to see that the best primavera players have been Italian like Foggia Paloshci Abate Verdi Samarco Albertazzi Di Gennaro and there has been some other success stories like Odu Osuji P Aubameyang who have been so much better than the likes of Diniz Legatti and Digao

Dude i am not racist and don't you dare imply that i am because i have a problem with the large amount of young South American players that Milan waste millions on instead of giving the likes of paloshci astori and abate first team opportunities and that i would like to see Milan made up of the best quality players around rather than a player who is favoured just because of where he comes from. In any case you failed to understand several factors firstly that this winter transfer window is a emergency window suggest Milan needs players who can come in and adapt within a matter of days people who are fimilar with Serie A football like Sanchez or Candreva. Secondly that Brazil teams have organised a far more affective method of getting premium prices for their young talent so if Milan does buy a Brazilian player he would have to be of outstanding quality to justify his price tag tell me do you really think the likes of Neymar Costa and the majority of the under 20 team would justifying a multi million euro price tag.

This list is dedicated to the top failures in European football Kerlon Pele Renato Neto Pedro Silva Viduez Roque Junior Nelson Benítez Juan Maldonado these are just players i can think about of the top of my head i am sure if i really analysed asked other users I could come up with a list of over 2000 south American players who haven't been successful in Europe. In case i advocate that Milan would buy someone like Addy a Ghana left back or Sanchez a Colombian winger.

Deco was awesome one of the best along with the likes of Boswinga Carvalho Raul Meireles Maniche Quaresma Andrade Buno Alves all these players where top players at Porto or are good players at Porto but better than the likes of lopez. Anyway i don't get the point you are making i simply saying that Porto is one of the few teams with has been able to benefit out of selling domestic talent and buying South Americans the any point which is debatable is that you shouldn't always buy a South American from a South American club.
