g.rossi is in awful form and honestly overrated. He's a nice player but he's no where near his price tag. If he was anything other than italian he'd be 10-12mil. Cmon don't bash the adiyiah signing. are you serious about Rossi? I dont think he is overrated at all!! this guy is very very talented! he has shown this with villarreal and with the italian national team, also with parma and in the man utd youth!
so what that is is in awfull form at the moment, it would only bring his price down
+ the guy is a Milan fan so he could 'help' us with his signing! I think he should be available for about 15m or something like that! we would have a future worldclass player in our hands

yes i'm 10000% dead serious. 25 million for guiseppe rossi? Are you kidding me? What has he proven... Thats a ridiculous price. He disapears alot, he doesn't have half the vision of a totti, del piero or cassano (who he's often compared to) Like i said, i like him but thats a ridiculous fee...

Why do u think juve or inter haven't made moves for him either??? Villareal are trying to rip off italian teams cause they know how much they'd want a talented young italian.

If we continue buying young talent for little, we could have issues for a few years, but it could really help in the long run. Also after this year, it is likely that Paloshi, Astoria, and Darmain will return. they all have talent and improve our depth. We also have Strasser, Albertazzi, Verdi, and Zigoni that can be called up to our senior squad next year. When included with Pato, Abate, Di Gennaro we have a bunch of talented youngsters that are going to be a big part of our team over the next bunch of years. And if we can buy a few more talented players that can play now we can be in very good shape.

I also think that we should secure our keeper for the next bunch of years. I hope we offer Abbati and 5 million to Cagliari for Federico Marchetti. he is a great young player and has many good years in him

I like him alot, and would love him at milan. But i absolutely 100% will NOT bash management (like some do) for not signing him for that gross overprice.

I also don't think he's a player who can carry a team like sheva, kaka did. He could be a great complimentary player to pato, that being said do you really pay 25 mil for a player like thaT? Just my 2 cents

Yes absolutly, no way Giuseppe Rossi is worth anything near 25 Mil. Only thing he's got over other, cheaper prospects, is that he's Italian.

Besides, I think there are positions in our squad that are in far more urgent need of reinforcements than our 'wingers'. We clearly picked up Dominic because of his price, he's a good prospect for a cheap price, at least compared to what I'd imagine the Brazilian prospects such as Guiliano etc. would cost, and he should be able to provide some cover for Ronaldinho and Pato. But if we were gonna spend 25 million or anything even remotely close to that on a player, then I really think it should be on someone who should be a clear starter EVERYTIME, ie a full back. Not someone who could wrestle with Ronaldinho for a starting place, we could use someone like that, sure, but our fullbacks aren't good, despite the Oddomania that has been going on here lately.

Also, we signed Beckham officially now, at least now we have some cover for Seedorf and Pirlo.

I think that getting healthy will do as much or more than the January window, getting Bonera and Di Gennaro back improves our depth quite a bit, as does Becks. another player would be nice though

but where do you get the 25m from?? Rossi wont cost that, especially not this january or next summer, he's having a terrible season so far and the same goes for villarreal!

And I also dont agree that rossi cant be a player who can carry the team, he is still very young but already so damn good, he will work his ass off to shine here in milan, the team that he loves! he would do very good here at milan IMO!

EDIT: just want to add that I also know him already from his man utd youth days, I've seen a lot from him, watched the italy youth games and parma games to see the kid play... etc.

Very happy with Becks return.Finally we have the midfielder who we desperate needed,we did not have a complete midfielder except for Seedorf,somebody who can provide support in BOTH attack and defence,Becks is that guy.

If you ask me,our midfield is very strong now: Beckham,Pirlo,Seedorf,Flamini,Gattuso,Ambrosini,Jankulovski.

Its good.Beckham will help us allot,especially with free-kicks(sorry Pirlo...)and crosses.

True Fret,but tell me,wich midfielder in Milan do we have who can cover for Seedorf?Seedorf is one of a kind player,he is so strong at the ball its just incredible....you just cant take off the ball from his feet.The point is that we finally have somebody who can also make the play except for Seedorf and Pirlo,something Ambro,Rino and even Flamini cant do.

Beckham can play on RM or CM and be the playmaker,he has the stamina and long/short passes for it.So yes he can take over Pirlo or Seedorf's role,he isnt that creative true,but he can be a decent backup.

And people lets not forget: He is actually a RW,so he should fit perfect in Pato's position,providing crosses.He is a RW at England and has been for many years,so he also is a backup for Pato.
