actually becks is great on the ball. He has excellent range of passing and is a hard worker. He is best in a midfield 3 these days as he's slower than when he was 23 not to mention he has more motivation than ANY player as this is key to world cup for him.

I think Becks is just as creative as Pirlo and Seedorf when it comes to picking the right pass at the right time. In fact, I think because of his talent, he has something that they don't.
I can't wait for him to play. Remember, last year he never had Borri to head them in.

It's not that Pirlo falls asleep. Beckham has an incredible work-rate. Pirlo doesn't even come close. He runs around looking for space and that gives him time to look up and see the runs. Pirlo usually has his back to goal when he receives the ball even when he's deep (but his shimmies and dummies are enough to spin around the other guy. I love when he does that).
So, yeah. Beckham's great.

Some people like to bash Milan mgt for just look for South America(mostly Brazilians), but if the player "linked" is Italian, they become blind and think all of them are amazing players(prospects). I´m glad that our MGT didn´t fell in the trap of Villlareal... Btw, not only Milan mgt, but Juve and Inter also. Strange... Last edited by Brasileiro; 02-11-2009 at 21:49. |

Beck, Pirlo and Seedorf.
The diff between the three is workrate as they are all pretty talented and can send in great crosses and passes. The thing is, Beck's work rate( while at Milan) was second to none. He ran ran ran and ran all over the pitch, where Pirlo, Seedorf tends to just sit back or walk back to defend. I think Beck's style helped Flamini alot last year and will do the same this year. |

the argument that many here also fall in love with any player than is Brazilian and can do fancy ball tricks and then doesnt want us to buy Italian.

I am glad for Beck's return because he is working do the best of his ability because he badly wants to be on the NT. I wish Dinho had even half the desire to play in the WC that Beckham does

I hope he comes to milan in a couple years when his fee drops or his form goes up. But as of now he's under contract till 2013 so there is no rush to sell him from villareals perspective...

![]() The guy has some kind of talent, but he isn't at the required level for Milan, except if he can reach back his form from 2 years ago I think when he pushed Réveillère on the bench. Réveillère is an average and overrated RB, Clerc is probably better but this year, he can't play as a starter because it's Réveillère who is on the pitch, it looks like injuries follow Clerc (like Réveillère actually and all defenders from Lyon). So even if Lyon gives us money to take him, it would just be one more wage to pay for a bench player. We need a guy like Oddo (who can defend if needed and who can help the midfielders to push forward), but who is better physically and can actually cross. Clerc is worst physically and in defence, so no way. |

If there´s a Milan board that it´s critical about Brazilian players, It is MM(and it start with the only Brazilian here, me). Maybe because the majority here don´t use this "fancy ball tricks" card(Thats so outdated) make you frustrated, but you can´t say they aren´t critics, because they are. Just look for my discussion here about Luis Fabiano in the near past, and you will see that the majority here were not in love with a Brazilian like you said. Sure, sometimes you see someone fall in love with a Brazilian(or South american) player they never watch playing, but nothing exagerated, just one name here and there. But at the same time, I can ask you of all Italians names you throw here in daily basis, how many have you really watched at least for 10 times in pro football to justify your hype? Let me get it straight... If the poster think every Italian youngster is amazing it´s ok for you. But if not, they just don´t want(like) Italian players, right?!? They just want Brazilians full of "fancy ball tricks"?!?! Thats fair, Pirlofan?? Btw, just because Milano said that Rossi is overrated(even when he said he was open to Rossi in Milan for the right price) makes him all of sudden a "Italian player" hater?? His post was clear, he want Rossi for what he is worth price wise... Back to double standars, since the beginning I didn´t want Ronaldinho in Milan(it´s documented here, so I am comfortable with what I go to ask), because imo he could only give us 10 good games a season(at best). Back to the point, I´m always reading your posts, and you are a fierce critic of him(like me), but at the same time, over the last years, you are always finding excuses for Pirlo, a player that over the last 3 season, is giving us also 10 good games a season(at best). So, besides your nick, why do you criticize Ronaldinho performances(I agree with you here) and not do(did) the same with Pirlo over the last 3 seasons? I have a assumption, but I think that to wait for your answer is more fair... Please, don´t take it personal, because until now I respect your post(even not agreeing). But I just can´t read what you wrote and and let it go. Unless you want to tread the path of a poster of another Milan forum called Savo... I hope not. Quote:
