For me, he is just a good player (nothing more, there are players like him in each championship) but he is a "Cassano version 0.1" (he is a trouble-maker). We don't need that kind of player in Milan.

Anyway, I agree with you on the meaning of your post which is that we let some players leaving whereas they could have been useful now or in a soon future ...

For people writing about Ronaldinho being possibly sold, it's almost impossible. The guy isn't here since enough time, the guy was chosen to replace Kaka', so selling him one year after selling Kaka' would be a very strong message to the fans ("we have no idea about what we do"), and so, that won't happen because I think our management is far to be stupid.
The way they play with medias is a proof that they're not stupid for example.

No, I don't think that team is any better than the one that came out against Real last night. It might last longer, but it's not better. In fact, I think its worse.

So your saying you would rather have Oddo than Cristico, Seedorf than Gourcuff, and Dida instead of Marchetta?

Dossena is not that bad, and he would be very cheap. Abate should not be used at FB imo, he is a midfielder/winger and he should stay there. I would not play him as a starter, but use him as a sub against tired defenses. Motta has been a very good player, he run and he is solid defensively. He is a young Panucci, and that is very solid. ( I know that he was never a true superstar, but he was (and still is) a very good player)

the coaching change is the reason that he hasnt been playing as much this year. he is a good player

I don't understand how people can say that Motta is mediocre. The game between Roma and Inter last year where Motta and Santon came against each other was seriously like a crystal ball into the future of Italian fullbacks.

Roma are not exactly playing well, so to say that Motta is not worth it, is pretty harsh. I'm not sure if Motta will realize his potential, and the same goes to Santon, but I think its clear that the potential is there.

I agree with pirlofan, Abate might be able to play RB from time-to-time, but its clear that he's far better as a midfielder. He over commits himself to challenges, which is fine as a midfielder, especially since he has the speed and will to recover, but is not a good characteristic for a defender. He has a far broader range of passing then many here are giving him, I really think he could be made into a very strong midfielder. Together with Flamini, they could form the engine room for Milan's future midfield, and honestly I wish he would be played in midfield more often.

I'd like to see more of Antonini, and more of Zambro on the right. Oddo is doing well, but, Zambro is better than he is, and Zambro has been iffy on the left, however, if he can play like he did against Real, then it has to be Oddo/Zambro with Antonini to sub-in.

From what I've seen Filipe Luis is a very good LB, Barcelona were linked with him in the summer, but ultimatly thought he was to expensive. Adriano is another Brazilian in Spain who seemed good when I've seen him for Sevilla, at least going forward then again, can't say I've followed him over an entire season.

I don't wanna see Dossena in a Milan shirt, he has no idea how to defend, he's shown that for Italy the few times he's played there, and ofcourse in England.

All in all, it all depends on what kind of budget Galliani gets to work with this winter. With Beckham coming, and with Dominic suposedly being an alternative to Ronaldinho and Pato, this would mean that any transfer funds we might have available would most definetly go to a full back. At least unless we get some major injuries.

Why is Pato ignored by Dunga. Now I understand Fabiano is their main striker but Hulk has been called up and never looks good to me even when Isee him in the Portuguese league which isn't that strong. He has 8 goals for Porto in the league since he signed.Maybe im completely wrong and Pato is not deserving of a place.

I think that is very foolish. Our players played well last night, but Cristico is much better than Oddo (he can defend, run, and CROSS) Gourcuff has been an elite player since he left here. He would bring a greater offensive threat (and Seedorf lost the ball that led to the goal yesterday, other than that he player well)

Although you make an excellent point. Who needs young players? we should ride our old stars until they cant run anymore. Inzaghi should start over Borri and Favalli should start over Silva. they have so much experience and they will play hard. And that Pato kid is way too young and way to fast. Lets move Seedorf up to his spot and put Gattuso in the midfield. That way we can put a true squad of champions out there. Pace and endurance are very overrated.
