Milan have taken a look at highly-rated Toulouse striker Andre-Pierre Gignac as a possible replacement for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the French international could be the answer to solving the questions up front for Leonardo.

Gignac has scored three goals in Ligue 1 this season, 40 in total, 29 of which have arrived with Toulouse.

The report suggests the hitman would be the ideal replacement if Huntelaar leaves. The Dutchman has again been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur after failing to make an impact at the San Siro.

Off-loading him and then signing the Frenchman will not be a simple task. It is said Arsenal had a €15 million bid rebuffed from the French side in the summer, and Olympique Lyonnais also had advances blocked.

Voices claim Milan are now ready to spark up a discourse with Toulouse. The Rossoneri apparently want Gignac to arrive on a loan deal in January. They would then work a permanent move in the summer.

Recent arrival Dominic Adiyiah will be involved in the African Cup of Nations, and Leonardo is eager to have some back up in his squad.

Neither club have added any substance to the move. Last week, Milan vice president Adriano Galliani claimed the only winter arrivals would be David Beckham and Adiyiah.

As much as I love Santon and Balotelli in Red and Black. I really don't think Morratti is that stupid to sell them to Milan. Also, you really can't blame JM for not playing Santon or Balotelli, as Maicon and Chivu are playing great at FB and Eto and Milito are better strikers than Balotelli now.
It is not like they are on the bench b.c their coach does not trust young players, it has more to do with not being good enough to play ahead of the others.

I think the only way Morratti would think about swapping those two to Milan would be something like Dinho(IMAGE)+Borreillo(USEFUL PLAYER as he is the type of striker that JM likes)+Cash for Santon and Balotelli

Gignac is underrated ... when he is in form, he can be as good as the best strikers, and he is young. He is very professionnal. For me, he is better than Benzema because this guy is "simple", I mean, he doesn't play the game of medias, he looks a bit shy, so you don't see any arrogance in his style and in his interviews, that has to be noticed because in France, most of the young good players are so arrogant and think they can be the next big thing. And you see it on the pitch, he plays with heart and for the team.

His qualities: powerful, fast, good technical skills, good with head, good shots (the modern striker ...), he can play alone or with another striker even if when he plays with another striker, he tends to pass too much and take less chances to score, it's what happens this year. He moves (runs) a lot.

His - : Makes too many passes when he plays with another striker, and also his morale could be a problem. If I remember, it's not that Toulouse didn't want to earn money last year, it's just that he didn't want to leave his family in Toulouse because he doesn't know if he will be able for moment to be far from them for a long time. Anyway, that's honest from him, but that could result in a bad morale, bad performances and so a bad morale and even worse performances ... if he leaves.

So for 15M, I say "let's take that chance" for Gignac, not more, as his start of season isn't as good as his last season was, so it could be a kind of bet (and like I'm not a fan of big risks, I would prefer that we don't spend too much on a "bet", even if we had money).

Oh I forgot, he is French, so he is from the EU and he doesn't play in CL.

PS: I don't trust any second this report anyway ... especially when they end it by "Neither club have added any substance to the move", so, where does this rumour come from ?

you cant keep unhappy player at the club that will affect your image and players will think a million time before joining you. and it will also affect the dressing room as well. and Italians will start complaining how inter are killing two of the most powerful talents. blah blah blah.

Cannavaro said one word about santon to leave inter to find first team regular and its going to happen soon, so how about balotelli now? if you are not happy no one is forcing you in... this is the thing

Lebanese, my point is that Moratti would rather sell to any other club on the planet but Milan, I know that many English clubs are intrested in the player and he said that he will certainly consider playing out side Italy in the futur, Mancini is likely to coach an EPL team this/next season, so I can imagine mancini demanding the player and surely any EPL team will offer more money than Milan plus Moratti's will to sell the player out side Italy sp Milan will have zero chance just like Maxwell in th summer.

Gabriel, no way inter would accept this deal Dinho (29), Borillo (27) for Santon and Balotilli(20), no way especially after Pirlo and Seedorf swap.

It would have to take a very very large sum of cash for Moratti to do that, Gabriel. I'm thinking at least 50-60 million euros for Moratti to even pick up the phone.

While its not possible to claim that any primavera player is the next big thing, its equally impossiblt to claim he is not and even more impossible to claim hes not even a good player.

but one more how much money would Milan pay? Any Inter player who worth X sum would be sold to Milan for 2X, and Milan usually offer 0.5X for players who worth X so again its Zero chance

19 I believe. He's shown he can play and is a hard worker. I don't think we've seen enough of him to really be able to judge him. I think right now for me he's someone who has potential given the little he's shown, but as yet it's too early to doubt him.

For the record, I was being just playing along with the rumors about Santon and Mario. As I doubt Inter will sell these two players to Milan.

I hate to say "I told you so", about Huntelaar, but that's about right thing to say. Nobody could argue his Dutch league record, but their league is not what it used to be. Back in the day, Ajax, PSV, even Feyenoord could compete with Europe's finest. But that's not the case for a long time.

It seems like we gave up on Dzeko, right? I haven't seen anything that connects us with him for a few months. I can say that, in the last couple of days he repeated a few times (for Bosnian media) that Milan is his favourite club, and that Milan is where he would like to continue his career. I saw an article today that Juventus will target him, and to help finance that move they will sell Amauri to us?
I highly doubt Dzeko would go to our rivals, though. His love for Milan is well documented.

now milan is being linked with Simone Pepe. They plan to use him as an alternative to Pato\dinho. Oh the Drama!
