It makes me nervous how Galliani recently confirmed the Beckham and Adiyah deals, but has mentioned nothing on Hottor.... This other Ghanian seems to be the one to go after!

Nothing spectacular yesterday from Dzeko and Nani ( players Milan is linked with ). Dzeko was man marked by 2 players most of the time and did quite well, but did nothing extraordinary. Had one good shoot and missed one 150% chance in almost 90th min. Nani had a good game, better then Dzeko to be fair. He played quite simple for his habbits, and did what he was asked to do. The talent is there.
Dzeko also had quite a deep role as he played with another classical no.9 CF. His heading and ball controll are great, he has the ability to pass his man and plays with both feet. Sometimes he was slightly weak in duels etc. Huntelaar played 90min for Holland vs Azzuri, as did Pirlo and Zambrotta. EDIT: Also, Thiago Silva played!! The Monster! Now the idiot Dunga has to call up Pato becouse Pato deserves the WC!!!

Actually, Klaas only played after Van Persie got whacked by Chiellini.
Thiago Silva was very impressive. I think he's on track to partner Lucio in the World Cup. He looked supremely confident.

I'm tired of saying this again and again but he's perfect for us, a REAL no. 9, can hold the ball, isn't slow, is two-footed, strong, great positional sense, great in the air, clinical finisher (well, that miss is uncharacteristic for him ) and for a CF, a beautiful passer of the ball, 23 years of age... And what is more important than this theory he actually SCORES a lot. |

Huntelaar played like crap yesterday,he came in for Van Persie(who is 6 weeks out thanx to Chiellini...)and he didnt impressed at all.
Zambro and Pirlo are returning home together with Canna and Buffon thanx to Lippi. Finally Pirlo can regain powers, now we should see a fit squad against Cagliari. I watched the highlights of the Portugal-Bosnia and Ireland-France game and i went nuts,Bosnia should have at least got a goal damn they should have scored, especially when they hit the bar and post.Ireland missed 4 100% chances.......i think Bosnia can still kick Portugal out. |

Also, I find it funny that some people believe that Galliani and Berlusconi are the only people in the world that doesn't know that Milan needs a facelift. Guess what, it's a matter of NOT having the money for it. Berlusconi has decided NOT to inject huge amounts, most likely cause of Fininvest's problems, they've also decided that they're not gonna loan money to buy players, for whatever reason. Whatever it is, it's got nothing to do with the sporting side. So all in all, the only thing 'boycotting' Milan does, is give less money for transfers (Ironiclly), and give less support for the players... |

No offense, Christian, but our transfer budget couldn't possibly get any smaller as it is. What's the worst that can happen? We start making money on the transfer market? We already did that!
Look, I am not saying that the boycotting strategy has worked out yet, but it is a strategy we have to stick to so there is a chance that we might get some new players in the future. B&G can handle one bad season in terms of tickets and merchandise sales, but they can't handle 2, 3 bad seasons in a row. Sooner or later, they will have to pull their heads out of their asses and realize that their moronic strategy in the market will damage their bottomline and make the proper adjustments. Like it or not, this is our only way out. B&G doesn't care if milan loses on the field, but they do care if milan loses money. |

Christian is right ...
If nothing is done (anyway, with a good run for the Scudetto and/or in CL, things will change), what are the next steps ? Boycott in the stadium => less merchandising => "boycott" from partners, so less money from TV and partners => less money for the club In the long term, that would mean that our transfer budget would not be around 15M like last summer but around 0M with for only money, the sale of our best players (of course, it is long term, not next year). It is the worst scenario. The best scenario is that people start supporting the team again in the next few weeks and for this year, because some people maybe like very much this boycott, but I and probably most of us hate the way our stadium is (simply empty when you have 15000-20000 people in a 80000 places stadium) and the way our team has no support. If you want my opinion, it's not the way our team plays (or played in the first weeks) that could make us look like a "laughing stock" in Europe (which we never were and will never be, because if we are so, Liverpool, Real Madrid, etc are worst) but how empty is our stadium !! When big teams struggle, they have support anyway, why isn't it the case in Milan ?! |

its because Milan fans are feed up this B&G. this club has money to spend. buying players makes us more exciting and makes ppl come to the games. You need to spend money to make money. a 15 mil player that helps you advance a round in the CL makes up for the sale in revenue from the added game.

Geo you dissapointed me my friend...
Come on, be real. People in Milano that follow Milan for past 10-20 years every week in San Siro or away know what is happening with the club. So they should now buy tickets and shirts so our mercato can be 10mln and not 5mln outcome? Mercato is not about season tickets and shirts, it never was. Its about the inside money. If Berlusconi has decided that investment for this year will be NOTHING ( actually it is -40mln ), ( my theory is that Hunter came for free so its -65 ) then he can take this low tickets sales as he needs to and deserves! Fans are fans, they DO NOT sponsor clubs mercato. Fly Emirates, Fininvest, Adidas, TV etc. to that. Curva Sud is right and all of the San Siro. People cannot be bought by string of 6,7 good games. Silvio and Galliani did a PATHETIC job with Milan is last 3,4 summers! In the end, KAka' sale was the last stroke. Boycoting San Siro is the right answer from fans. Milan fans are not the fans that follow only results, but sometimes enough is enough. Galliani can go to hell and write those pathetic attempts to someone else! Buy 4, 5 players in the summer and you'll have your crowd. Forza grande Milan! ![]()
