Meanwhile, the notion of Favalli joining the coaching staff is laughable at best. |

It was also confirmed Kaka isnt going to be sold, hence why he is playing for us. and what 9s wrong with Favalli coaching? he has a ton of experience and last time i checked there isnt a link between how good of a player you are to how good a coach you are

Get over it man, kaka was sold since last January. Actually I am glad he is gone, we are playing like a team now. And this is the thing. Regarding favalli I really respect this guy regardless of his abilities. I really think seedorf can make a good staff member.

I'm totally over it. I'm just saying it doesnt matter what B&G say, its what they do. My only regret is that we didnt get more for him. (imagine 40/45 mil and Sneijder, Robben, and Klaas. that would be a huge upgrade)

I have done some research into this in the past. Ticket sales account for a paltry 11% of the club's revenue (if I recall correctly). The lion's share of our money comes from TV rights, which will be shared soon. This is the cost of of having a poor financial portfolio. You put your eggs in the TV revenue basket (our intrepid leader Berlusconi is responsible for that as he changed the law in 1999 I think), and once that becomes collective you realize how much you're struggling financially. Merchandising is also abysmal in Italy. Basically, if you don't have a Moratti or Berlusconi, you will find it hard to compete in Europe. |

If we built our own stadium or bought San Siro outright, we'd probably increase revenues massively long run. As it is we pay rent..

That figure only reflected gate revenue and it does not include merchandize sales, sponsorship deals and Food and Beverage during the game.

Some reports / rumours:
1 - "AC Milan midfielder Rino Gattuso is chasing a January move to Manchester City. The Mirror says Gattuso is ready to quit AC Milan - and expects to sign for Manchester City in the transfer window. The 31-year-old midfield ‘enforcer’ is looking to leave Serie A in a bid to get into his country's World Cup squad and has told pals he is lined up for Mark Hughes's top-four contenders. Gattuso speaks English from his time with Glasgow Rangers and his tough-tackling style is suited to the Premier League as he makes his shock attempt to get out of Milan. The fiery star, who has been with Milan for a decade, is not seeing eye-to-eye with coach Leonardo. He believes he will be allowed out on loan with a view to a full-time move." 2 - "Inter striker Mario Balotelli is well known for his propensity to flirt with controversy, but he has now decided to embrace it head on by confessing that he supports AC Milan. The 19-year-old made the shocking revelation yesterday afternoon while visiting the Istituto Don Gnocchi. Il Giornale newspaper reports that Balotelli initially pleaded with his audience not to ask any questions, but while he was happily signing autographs, someone blurted out, “Which team do you support?” Mario replied, “I am a Milanista. Didn’t you know that?” The small crowd went wild and an enthusiastic Diavoli supporter walked up to a smiling Balotelli and screamed, “You are a Milanista! You are a Milanista!” Another boy swiftly asked, “If you are a Milanista, why do you play for Inter?” The teenage striker said, “Well, I’m playing for Inter this year…” Balotelli’s loyalties in the city have been questioned since he was spotted in front of a Milan store last May." 3 - "Milan nel futuro: Piace l'ex interista Bonucci Con Astori un altro giovane per rinnovare la difesa." |

Balotelli, hehehehehe... there is no such a pathetic club in this world as Inter!!!
![]() I would take him without a doubt, but Moratti would rather shoot himself! Gattuso: I would hate to see him leave Milan, we cannot sell Rinho, its simply wrong. LEts hope Rinho will stay with us, he is a real rossonero. Hard times come and go. Maldini is saying things everyone knows: we lack new players and we'll need a lot of money to built a stabile squad for serie a. No news beside those, Im still waiting for something to happen so Milan can invest properly in one mercato ( 50-60mln ).

And I wasn't even talking about Favalli's experience to begin with, just the stupidity of the rumor. Last edited by Blacktop; 18-11-2009 at 12:14. |

I would be surprised if Rino is still not a 'retire at Milan' player.

You said it was already confirmed Dida wont be leaving for Brazil. I'm saying that isnt a fact until the January window is closed. Personally, I hope we sell him in January when his form should allow us to make some money on him
