^^ I think at the end, the top few teams from each group enter a sort of knockout round but I'm not 100% sure.

Milan 3 - 1 Triestina (Verdi, Gaeta, Schenetti)

MILAN - Donnarumma, Ghiringhelli, De Vito, Romagnoli, Strasser, Meregalli, Verdi, Pedrocchi, Gaeta, Oduamadi, Schenetti.

TRIESTINA - Durandi, Cussigh, Bobbini, Uggè, De Los Santos, Miragliam, Olivotto, Cossu, Lionetti, Villanovich, Sain.

I thought the transfer would occur in jan. and that only a verbal agreement had been reached so far.

Because of the distance between the cities. That's why they've divided all the best Primavera-teams in three groups after location/regional position. The top teams from each group will go through to the playoffs.
You can compare the structure to the Champions League structure.

There Is No Agreement With AC Milan For Edmund Hottor - Agent
The Rossoneri's deal for the Triestina starlet is not yet set in stone, but the agent believes that they will beat Napoli to the Ghanaian's signature...

Nov 10, 2009 7:23:39 PM

AC Milan have recently been in the market for a number of talented youngsters as they look to build for the future, but the transfer of Edmund Hottor has hit a snag.

According to the player's agent, an agreement has been struck between Milan and Triestina for the 16-year-old, but nothing has been settled between the Diavoli and the player.

"Yes, Napoli have raised the stakes because we do not currently have an agreement with Milan," Leonardo Giusti told ilsussidiario.net.

"The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Triestina and we are very proud and happy with this, but they will also have to talk with me as I represent the lad and we will take the offer into consideration.

"We would be very happy to end up in Milan," he concluded.

The Rossoneri have already sealed a deal for Dominic Adiyiah and are also reportedly close to finalising a move for Gustavo Leonel Pereira.

Anthony Wright, Goal.com

Anyway, the Argentinian is Gustavo Leonel Pereira

I think it is no use making a thread on him yet, but does anyone know about him?

Last Chelsea match, I noticed things Carlo never did before during his 8yrs w/ Milan, he substituted 3 players w/ 3 youngters (the famous one was Kakutta , due to the recent transfer ban slapped on Chelsea, which is now on hold)

1st subs was as early as 56 th min.. ! Chelsea was already leading 3-0 .. and considering bench players they have, this is just not Carlo's style

So, I guess this says a lot about our youngsters during his era?? any comments ?

He did that with our youngsters too. When we were leading comfortably, he did bring on youngsters a number of times to give them some experience. What he definitely didn't do was what Leo did yesterday and bring in inexperienced youngsters when we're just barely hanging onto a lead.
