After the Marseille game, I think we definitely need to discuss Niang. Anyone know his status at Marseille, is he happy, does he have an EU passport, how old is he, is he consistent? He totally owned his flank against us.

why didnt they sign with our youth team?

B/c our youth setup at that time sucks.

For real, I really think players like Santon, Baletolli and Givnco are just saying their love for Milan whenever a reporter asks them, "Did you watch Milan while growing up?"

It's easy to own his flank against us. If you have some good technical skills and if you have somme good physical skills, you easily own this flank against Oddo (not very good physically) or Abate (not a RB even if he did ok yesterday).

Niang is a good player, Marseille won't sell him, he doesn't want to move from there, I don't know for his EU passport, he is 27 if I'm not wrong. He plays well in Ligue 1, it was his first good game in CL, but this player lacks something. I'm not able to say what.

Actually, for Balotelli, it was a fan during an autographs session who asked him what club he supports ... everyone probably waiting for "Inter". He replied Milan.

For Santon, he wasn't asked what club he watched when he was younger, he decided to say that Balotelli hasn't to be bashed because he is a Milanista playing in Inter, and to defend him, he added that he was himself a Milanista.

Anyway, it's easy to know why this team has no soul: no Italian player (actually, that's not a problem, Javier Zanetti is like an Italian guy now, the problem is that half of the team has changed or almost since 2 years), and the few Italian ones support the only team they shouldn't ...

Niang is 30 already, and like Geo said, he just had a good game against our so so RB Oddo and not really RB Abate.

Either way, Rino deserves more starts, even if Ambro admittedly has been playing well...surely he could have given us some more grit in the middle? In space of say, Seedorf?

Gattuso adds none on the attack. Thanks for the past Rino, but Milan must move on

I don't know if what is in medias is real or totally built up by them ...
If it's not built up, if that's reality, that means that Inzaghi and Gattuso, two players who claimed their love for our club so many times are "furious" and want to leave (it's the last reports) once they are not in the starting 11 for some games.

And for our starting 11, some people here say that they'd like to see Flamini instead of Pirlo to see the difference, I would say that Flamini should play all games instead of our captain Ambro, even if he is good, Flamini can be better I think.

No way Ambro should out.Sick and tired of the anti-Ambro cohesion on this forum.Nothing personal to Geotav or any other poster,but Ambro is the MAIN reason we dont concede 10 goals a game,the guy is in form,is a wall in midfield and works for two men in midfield.What the hell should he do more before people want him to see on the field.

Ambro deserves it more then both Rino and Flamini,if Ambro is playing badly then throw Flams in but now....NO WAY!

Niang is an ok player,which means he is good and sometimes great for clubs like Marseille(with all respect).He lacks the quality to play for Milan.There are many players who can run like hell and are good phisically....

The more I think about it, the more I believe that Pirlo has no place as part of the midfield two. They have to be purely about defense and covering for the fullbacks when they go forward. Pirlo's place is in that 1 in front of the 2, in place of Seedorf now. Maybe they can rotate?

yeah and if you have flamini you wont concend 3 against cagliari

let me explain it to you. the person should be replaced in our midfield is pirlo. he is counted as dm and he is not doing a dm job.

if we are to play with the same formation we need seedorf and two ball winners

pirlo, seedorf and ronaldinho cant co-exist in the same formation. if you choose to bench some1 it will be pirlo. performance wise pirlo is the less effective

and frankly there is no anti-ambro here, there is a problem needs to be resolved. gattuso/ambrosini/abate seedorf/pirlo flamini/ambrosini/abate.
this is what we all want we dont want ambro to be axed inorder to please some ppl. we want milan to win
