Also, news say that Chelsea may sell/loan Zhirkov... as far as Im concerned he would fit it great on the left fullback as he played for Russia in the last EURO.
cannot agree more on Gago, Ledesma....& Essien, Zhirkov
and the latest....Elano!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand, why Leonardo must change formation for Gattuso to fit it. Gattuso IS perfect for this system. A player with no attacking talent, who can cover as much space as possible, cover side backs as well as Pirlo, and break opposition attacks. For me, he's better than Ambrosini for this position. Ambrosini is intelligent, but he has no speed nor legs to cover that much space, and his attacking talent is wasted in that position.

I think there lies a problem with this system: When you play 2 midfielders in line, one playmaker and one "destroyer", the latter must cover enormous amount of space and Ambrosini is not that kind of player, that kind of players are Gattuso, Flamini, Lass Diarra, Essien...

Out of topic,

http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/italy...heated-as-well

From the beginning it was stupid to take titles away from Juve AND give them to Inter. All clubs cheated, and when they took the titles from Juve they shouldn't give it to anyone, but to register those seasons as "no winner".
For season 2007/2008, they've won the title because that stupid red card of Mexes (look at the end of "Catania" topic). Surely that was "just" referee's mistake.

You simply can't ...
If you do so, that means you cancelled your season, you lose points in UEFA ranking (I think that a year without winner in your championship disallows all the teams from this championship to play in European cups, and there was also something like a suspension of the national team, that could have been disastrous, I mean, more than it was), etc ...
There are a lot of consequences that can be considered like "costs" (read what I just wrote before) coming from such a decision, so Serie A did need a winning team and from the results after Calciopoli, it was Inter ... if Inter was caught cheating too, it would have been Roma or ... I don't remember the rankings of these years.

It's past anyway ... I don't understand why some newspapers are still writing things about that. Don't they have anything else to write ?

PS: All these guys who speak in medias have no proof about what they say !! If tomorrow, a linesman who only made one appearance in Serie A comes saying in Goal.com or La Gazzetta that Galliani told him not to whistle offsides for Inzaghi in 2005 (with no way to prove that), does that mean that Milan are cheaters ? So all these guys do is putting the shadow of Calciopoli again and again in the sky of Serie A ...

This 4-3-3 perfect system for this Milan,we would still struggle with 4-3-1-2,if we continue to play it.in 4-3-3,Pato and Dinho finds much more space and in 4-3-1-2 They should have more strength.

we just need a box to box midfielders in Seedorf's place and one World Class striker, though im happy with Borriello yet he has to react in big games as well.

With 3 WC Players,BTB,WB and ST,We would be scudetto favourite.

Regarding Rino,if he wants to leave just for formation,we cant change the formation as 4-3-3 is perfect for us now,if we change it,we will fail.in this case,he can leave. That shouldnt be case,Rino is injured and still not fully fit.i would expect him to say,he would fight for his place, but he did it.he would play or leave.Thats the wrong.

i dont rate Ambro much, yet he is playing great now and playing with his heart. He deserve his place,if Rino wants first 11,he has to perform better than Ambro to get it.complaning wont solve anything.

Dida/Abbiati
Wing Back Nesta Silva Zambrotta
Ambro/Flamini Pirlo BTB.
Pato Striker/Borriello Ronaldinho

Before getting a WC replacement (which is unlikely to happen soon) for Borriello, we should probably, even surely, try to find replacements for Ronaldinho and Pato because we have none, and if one of them is injured, we have no other solution to play this 4-3-3 formation.

If we admit that Abate can, if needed, replace Pato on the right (but not for a too long time, I mean, for one or two games, ok, but if it's for one or two months, it will hard except if Abate can level up his game), we have noone anyway on the left to replace Ronaldinho ...

actually revolver gattuso is not perfect for this 11,ambrosini's role is not just run-mark-cover he is actually passing and delivering deep balls too,sth that rino cant do..and you re wong saying we are like the teams that play with one playmaker and one destroyer, things are much more complicated than they used to under carlo, and i actually love it!!

and i hope rino stays with us,bucause WE WILL need him,as we need seedorf and pirlo so much right now(i was the only one all summer long that insisted that we should keep them when most of you said they re old and "slowdorfs" etc, just because we couldnt afford loosing another quality key of this squad, although they werent good enough last year)..for the same reasons we cannot loose a man that symbols so many things for milan..

I think Beckham can provide a great cover for Ronaldinho. That might sound insane, but Pato would switch left, and Beckham would take the right wing (he'd play deeper than Pato, but Zambro/Oddo would have more freedom to overlap Becks). That, along with the Adiyah and Abate option, would be enough to give Pato/R80 a rest.

no man thats not insane..it makes sence.
but i am really nervous with beck's arrival,i am afraid that leo will be forced to play him and we will lose the balance that was so hard to built the last 2 months..just remember the last year when becks arrived,he played in olimpico against roma with 2 days of training(!!!)..bekcham would never come if he wasnt sure of starting the matches, dont forget he s eyeing the wc squad..i dont have any problems with him coming, actually he would be very useful, but not for a atarting material imo..

i dont have a good feeling for this..

Even though I am loving Ronaldinho these days, I wouldn't mind him sharing his role with Beckham. They won't play together often, I think, but they're both very similar in terms of what we're looking for them to do; mainly provide assists. We can actually predict which side is weaker in the opposition, if they're weak on the left, unleash R80. If they're weak on the right, let Beckham loose.

I don't see any balanced formation that can fit both Ronaldinho and Beckham (without removing Pato, of course). Any ideas?

Edit: Except for this:

----------------------------Dida
--------------Nesta----------------Thiago Silva
Zambro--------------------------------------------------Antonini
--------------------Ambro--------Pirlo
--------Beckham
----------------------------Ronaldinho
--------------------------------------------Pato
-----------------Huntelaar

Resting Seedorf and Borri, since Huntelaar will have Ronnie and Pato to support him and he won't be expected to play as a target man. I think this works, and it's basically how we played with Beckham last year (Kaka in place of Ronnie)

Beckham is going to give us many, MANY more options.

well in terms of rotation we could see beckham in pirlo's position too..similar with his role under capello in real..and to be honest i think that we will see our team with no destroyer dmc a lot in the future, dont be surprised if we see both pirlo and becks in front of the defence, although it may sound too extreme, leo will try this against smaller teams..

edit:your formation is too similar with our formation the first month which was disaster, although it may be defferent with bechs i have to say that i hope we dont start experementing now..

I can't imagine us playing Ambro-Beckham, let alone Pirlo-Beckham. Maybe i'm wrong and Becks can fill in for Pirlo, but i'm very doubtful. I can imagine a line of 3, Pirlo, Ambro, Beckham, with another line of three ahead of them, Pato, Ronnie(Seedorf), Huntelaar. Pirlo and Beckham would just cannon away long balls to the overlapping full backs and Pato, similar to what we did against Samp to devastating effect. I'm happy because we seem to have so many tactical options now.

Speaking of full backs and some earlier rumours about Bale...in today's Spurs vs Everton game Seamus Coleman did really well offensively for Everton

Just stopping in to say hello. How have you been, my friends? My, how much brighter the late autumn is at Milan Mania than was the dark summer! I can hear the birds singing. All the doom and gloom has turned to sunshine. I've noticed that even mrki seems fairly optimistic. The over-the-hill gang has been playing well (damned well for a club that's become a laughing stock). Even Slowdorf and Fat Ronnie have done okay. Relegation has thus far been avoided. The earth didn't open up and swallow the club into the pits of hell. It seems AC Milan may have a chance to survive after all. I'm glad you're all enjoying it!
