I would blame the coach for the loss. He needs to rotate. I know that he may not like/trust Flamini or Huntelaar very much, but he has no other choices and has got to play them more often, especially when everybody can see that Pirlo/Ambrosini/Borriello is tired and not functioning. Also, if he decides that Pato is not fit to start the game, maybe he should stick to his decision of not playing him at all. Of course you could say that it is easier for me to say that now, but when we were just 0-1, I was actually thinking maybe we should play Huntelaar. After all, there must be a big reason (for a stubborn Leo) that Pato should not start, then why now when were trailing and Pato would get even less space?
I don't understand why Seedorf got subbed either. He was in my opinion very good today and he was the key today in putting together our attack. Our problem was pace (lack of, of course), and without pace and space, we became so predictable. It was frustrating. I would rather we lost to Zurich and drew this one. Damn it, that ruined my Sunday.

Credit must be given to Leo for the past few victories as he was the main reason behind it....however today we must also admit that he was the reason for the lost 3 points along with 2-3 players. I didn't think the team did that bad to be honest I just thought that our finishing was very poor and that it was Leo's responsibility to take off Boriello earlier but it seems that he will never take him off nor will he take off Ambrosini who also was bad today.
However the worst thing by Leo was not keeping Pato on the bench, no it was taking Seedorf off. That was absolutely shocking as Seedorf was our only attacking player that was receiving the ball in the middle of the field and running with it and keeping it. Ambrosini should have left the field for Pippo, not Seedorf. Today, Leonardo's inexperience was there for everyone to see unfortunately.... luckily enough Inter did not win (we could have made the difference only 3 points but instead now it's 6). I hope Leo learns his lesson and that there are other players in the squad that could be used. Forza Milan. I believe this loss is just a hiccup and not a real major cause for concern...however we are still in dire need of world class reinforcements. PS: Pato played his worst game in a Milan shirt today...he was very, very bad. He got in Pippo's way two times but that's what happens when you play with 4 strikers at once. Ronaldinho has also become consistently good for about a month now. Zambrotta is also finished, every game he proves that more and more. We need two FB's in January not one. Pirlo and Ambrosini were terrible. Seedorf.....I don't know how people think that he was decent today. IMO he was just as bad as Pirlo and Ambrosini. He saw a lot of the ball, but always took too long to find a solution for it. Yes he should have perhaps stayed on because we totally lost that connection after he went off.......but what I'm trying to say with this is that, even though we had the connection there it failed to work (Seedorf). The reason why Inzaghi was brought in IMO is because we were getting crosses and balls in the box throughout the game but nobody seemed to get on the end of them. Leo wanted more bodies in the box. It's easy to look at the consequences after the game and find the solution.....the tricky part is to do it during the game. Every decision made can go either way. For example if Pato scored a couple of goals in the time that he played we would be hailing Leo. (just an example) Although I agree that more rotation needs to take place. Some of the players look like they can't even walk....let alone play football.
Antonini should have stayed on his feet when going after Micolli. There was absolutely no reason to tackle TWICE 30 meters away from goal. Not even mentioning that both tackles were some of the most ridiculous I've ever seen. But I am not blaming him for the goal entirely. There were others that should have done a better job as well. It's funny how now Ronaldinho has consistently become our best player on the field. EVERYTHING productive that happened on the field came from his feet. It's a shame not 1 forward (there was 3 there at one point) took advantage of his great work today. About Pato not being a winger and being wasted and what not. I am not too much warried about that. Pato plays wide and finds more space there. BUT whenever Ronaldinho has the ball (or anyone on the left side for that matter) Pato is in the box just like a regular striker. As a matter of fact today he had a couple of opportunities in this exact same way and the same happens in every other game. He just needs to take his opportunities.I'm not blaming him for not scoring today, I just want to point out that when he's in good form it doesn't really matter that he is on the wide-right. As when he gets into the box he can be deadly. Ronaldinho creates opportunities. A bunch of them per game. Right now there is no other player in Europe that creates as many chances for his teammates in a game. The strikers (which Pato falls into) just need to be sharper.....much sharper.

Yeah, let's blame a bad luck for this one and not lack of rotation.
![]() I guess we should call that luck when we think we would be out of CL if that ball didn't hit the post against Marseille, and end up in the net instead, or how much points we would lose until now if the ball somehow didn't hit the post or Dida's hand all those times... People, don't be pathetic, we wouldn't be here where we are now if it wasn't for MUCH of luck. I don't want to under-estimate what Leonardo has done until now, but if he thinks he can win double-crown, or anything in the matter of fact, always playing the same lineup, then he's an idiot. For God's sake, even a little kid sees that Ambrosini is tired and he needs rest, just as it sees that Borriello cannot score **** without Pato beside him! So why Abate?! Why he didn't play Borriello on Pato's place and Inzaghi or Hunter in the middle?! Perhaps "the brain" thought, "oh what the ****, let's play the same 11 all season", and then much of our granddads got tired and then the brain thought "well let's rest some of them". Bravo. I don't want to add nothing more right now, I'm pissed off because for the last 10 years everything we ****ed was against weaker opposition. |

We lost, but thank god Inter drew too,and Juve were humiliated by Bari.
So the damage isnt big,but still i am not happy with this game, and i am angry at Leo. Not for subbing Seedorf, not for bringing in Pato, but why on earth did he leave Hunter on the bench???!!!Borriello should not have even started this game,Huntelaar should have, and even then Leo didnt bring him in when he could see Borrie was missing chances left and right. Huntelaar should have played,i know 100% we would have won because Dinho was trowing in assists left and right. To bad,i hope Hunter plays against La Viola. |

Also, why the **** cant we have a trainer with NORMAL ideas and habits
First we got a boring coach who was playing Slowdorf at all costs and with his stupid X-Mas tree formation. Finally we have a coach who plays attacking and not boring like last seasons but he intends to play the same players each time.... |

Nothing to say today, I'm not angry, Palermo deserved their win and our players worked hard but it wasn't their day, simply ...
The first half could have ended by 2-1 for us, but Borriello missed everything today (same for Pato then, same for Ambrosini, almost same for Pirlo). The second half was just logical, I don't know what happened at HT, but our team wasn't the same, or maybe was Palermo a lot more motivated after this HT (they played like a genius team for at least 25 minutes, destroying us in all areas) ?! I don't know and I don't care. So today, we lacked: - some form for some of our players (not physically as for the last 10 minutes, we played like in first half, trying hard) - the finishing when we were in front of their goal Also, for me, the mistake of Leonardo was to put Favalli ... by knowing that the players from Palermo were technical and fast. Even Nesta was in trouble sometimes (look how Miccoli passed him at the beginning of the counter leading to the 2nd goal, it's not the "usual" Nesta). Thanks to luck, Inter didn't win in Atalanta, so this loss isn't too important, for now (it will be very important if we lose Serie A for one point for example). |

Ancelotti played the same players each time also. That's why we were humiliated against Deportivo and Liverpool back then and not just that, we were able to finish the season when we were absolutely the best team in the world without any titles (2004/2005). Ancelotti needed 3-4 years to learn the lesson, how much Leonardo will need? |

Miccoli is amazing, why isn't he in a top team and why isn't he playing for Italy, he is much better than Del Piero.

He never did that last finish line push to make it into the Italy squad. He is a good player, but I think will stay at that, just a good player.

He is very good with the ball and a good passer, we could use him as a second\assist forward. We could use someone like him to play alongside Hunter borri or pato.
