After what happened to Kaka, don't really think Milan should get someone whose agent is also their father. As it will only complicate matters.

We're linked to a number of names at the moment, which might be useful ahead of the winter market (though let's not forget we raised hope in the summer to be duly let down).

Of the most recent names, I must say there are some interesting players there. Galliani's comment about Dzeko doesn't worry me too much, as it only pretty much rules him out this winter (as we're looking for wide forwards this winter, not center forwards).

With our offer for Garay being refused, it looks like we'll turn our attention to Kjaer. I must say when I saw him yesterday he's grown a lot from the player I saw last season. He seems more tactically aware and less reliant on his physical power. To get him would be a nice catch, though with others around, like Santacroce (currently having many problems in Napoli), Bocchetti, Bonucci, Ramaccioni and our very own Albertazzi, there are many potentially great defenders coming through to pick from.

Pandev would be a very good squad player to have. If he comes he'd be a useful alternative to our current wide players, which we need.

I think Santacroce is the one the MIlan should really go after. Not sure whats going on with him at Napoli and in general, as it seems to me that critics in Italy have a very low opinion of him. I don't want to bring the race card in, but normally Italy has been known as a country who always over hype their young defenders, Zaccardo, Legro, Bonera, Barazhi...just to name a few. Yet, there is really not a lot of buzz around Santacroce.

Well, there hasn't been a lot of buzz around Santacroce this year since he only played one game this season and is down with injury until now, but there certainly had been some last year. He's a good player and has what it takes to become a great one IMO.

Dont get me wrong, I love Santacroce and would love to see him play for Milan. Just stating that Santacroce does not get the buzz like the others when they were 21-23

No buzz around Santacroce might actually be a good thing for us. We can get him on a decent price as opposed to overpaying for one of the more hyped prospects. If Santacroce is having trouble with Napoli management, then we need to move in on him as soon as we can.

I agree we will now have Rino until he is 34 on huge wages. Ofcourse I admire and am grateful for what he has done in a Milan shirt , but he isn't the player he was now and now he will be here for 3 more years not a great move.

Well, the logic has always been that Milan shows loyalty to its players. Although, somehow, that logic didn't apply to Kaka.

Becouse Kaka' was worth 65mln+Huntelaar ( most likely ).

I support the decision of new contract for Gattuso. Gattuso is a special player and Milan has already done too much wrong to its soul by selling Kaka' and Sheva ( actually I cant believe that really happened every time I write it...).

Rino is a great player and he has extreordinary phisical attributes that will allow him to play at top level for 2 more years for sure. Remember what kind of football he played last year untill he got badly injured ( the time Pirlo was off coz of his injury ). Gattuso is a honest football player and Im glad he stayed and I hope he ends his career in AC Milan! He was the first one to made salary cut and his contract will never be a problem. The problems were players like Emerson, Oddo, Dida, Ronaldo, Sheva-traitor, Vieri, Kaladze etc., people who Galliani overpayed and who gave nothing or very little to Milan in last years.

On mercato:

News about one mroe forward that can play wide are saying Milan does not count on Adiyiah as a 3rd choice behind Pato and Dinho. Maybe he'll be loaned out or something. Maybe Krasic rumours are true and we could see him playing wide role in Milan. Anyway, Id rather wait for the summer any pay for quality player then invest ow for half-players.

About CB: papers say Kaladze may be on his way out. Good, thanx Kakha and ciao! Kjaer ( the rumour ) is an EXCELLENT defender and his price is high for sure. Having him in Milan would be a brilliant jobe done. For that Im sure Kjaer will not be rossonero in january.

I do not expect any big spending except maybe Astori to Milan or something like that, if we buy wide forward we can expect some young player that Leo will find somewhere.

Lets all hope I am wrong and Milan will find 30 mln to pay for CB and one wide player!

Yeah, good luck with Zamparini selliing one of his players to Milan. Never in million of years.

Fairly certain that Kjær has a 12 M euro buyout clause in his contract, in which case Zamparini can moan all he wants.
