![]() But some things in that article need attention. It is VERY truth that our system is like "we have to score more than we concede". That worked against Cagliari, when both of our strikers were in form and both of them scored. But, against Palermo, Pato wasn't there, Borriello was bad and we conceded two and scored none. We are open too much, and Leonardo must do something about it. Seedorf must defend more and more quickly, he cannot walk back like he used too. His defending against Real was top notch, but it seems that Leo thinks that Seedorf can walk back against not-so-good opponent and he let him do that way. Also, Pato and Ronaldinho must do SOME of defending job. They have to help our side-backs. But, there's the other side of the medal. If Seedorf would run back like he's 25 years old, how he could start every game? There lies the problem. He is 33. From January there will be Beckham, so Seedorf will not have to start every game. Anyway, I'm (still) doubtful that we can win Serie A title, and I'm afraid that we will lose CL too if we keep fighting for both. We obviously don't have depth in our squad. |

come on guys...
i haven't read all that they write on that site (the summer thing and others) and sure a lot of their "player ratings" are far from precise... but i do think there is a lot of important stuff mentioned in this article...particularly the part regarding our need for back-up unfortunately, i have to say that i cannot but agree with their belief that had we won against Palermo and against Fiorentina this week, management would start bragging that we r such a perfect team that doesn't need reinforcements while we all know that we do....Galliani's only talk about buying come after we have a bad match... we also all agree that we need to buy otherwise we won't be able to keep this momentum going especially when one of our top 4 gets injured (Nesta, Silva, Pato, Dinho) so in that respect, i thought this article does make a point |

Bosnian kid in French league has been playing well and scoring goals, so watch out for Miralem Pjanic, there were some rumors of him going to Ancelotti.

atleast i herd we stepped up our bid for milos krasic, that guy is a serious baller polished technique i remember when he was by himself setting up attacks aganst united, if milan could get krasic IN JUNE, he can be our CAM in our 433 which is diffrent we have a italian 433 not like the dutch barcelona or the english then we can drop pirlo to launch attacks and have either di gennaro, seedorf, flamini, ambro, even gattuso to protect the back of our 433 on the corners we need to get our players back from loan atleast our squad doesnt look horrible like at the start i was so stressed out it was incredible, Astori Paloschi etc all need to return that way we'll get younger and remember questo bastardo berlusconi e cheap

The thing that I took from the article is what he said about Nesta. TO me, if there is any truth to that, it is a huge worrying sign. Can someone who went to a Milan game comment on that.
As for the rest of the article. Well, those are just common knowledge for us Milan fans. No quality squad players, players can't play two games a week due to age, Slowdorf does not defend or run back......Nothing new to me. And if someone comes out and say that the team is doing great, 2nd in the table, knockout stage in CL.....they are not wrong either as thats fact. BUt then again, those issues stated by Goal.com are also facts too. As for losing is a good thing for MIlan in the long run. I don't think it will work as B and G just does not want to spend money in the squad anymore. So even if Milan struggles and finish out of CL spot, instead of getting quality players, they will just sell Pato, T. Silva and whomever thats worth money in order to tell us fans that balancing the BOOK is very important. I think Milan must win in order for B and G to not have any excuse of selling guys like Pato, but even if the team win the CL, Coppa and the League, don't hope or expect B and G to splash money and sign players, as they will use the players are over price as an excuse and that the team is already great as they are champions..... At the end of the day, us fans must prey to the high above that all these youths MIlan still have would become solid or good players, like Polashi=Pippo, Di Gennaro=DP, Abate=Donnadoni, Astoir=Maldini, Zigoni=Vieri, Strusser=Essien, Albertezzi=Baresi, Darmian=Nesta..... |

Today the agents of Bastos and Ederson of Lyon have both invited bids from Milan. Bastos' agent says anything can happen after the World Cup (I believe he can turn out to be a fantastic buy, but Lyon does ask for alot of money unfortunately). Ederson's agent says he can leave as soon as January and Milan wants him and has been tracking him for 2 years at least.

Well Galliani himself has said today on football-italia that Beckham and Adiyiah will be the the only arrivals in January , and I believe him not that I think it is good news. He said we are looking for a striker like Pato or Dinho but maybe one will arrive in the summer but not in January no investment in January. This is bad news , we still have the same tired slow team although playing well for the last 10 games this team isn't capable of winning the CL and the scudetto or even one of them. Fact is we still need at least 8 players to rejuvinate the squad for the long term over the next 3 or 4 mercato's but Im starting to think that Milan MGT actually believe the squad is perfect. Our midfield constantly gets run over our wing backs are very vunlerable and with Silva out for 2 months expect planty of mistakes at the back.

I think we know Galliani enough now to know that whenever he says that 'no players will arrive' you know that someone will. There will be a surprise. It might not be something big, or flashy, or even exciting, but he will surprise us.

and it does actually make a lot of sense given how much Nesta has struggled with this injury over the last couple of seasons... now that he is back, i think he is being abused really, having to play every 3 days and having to work so hard given our poor full backs and especially when Thiago is missing...we have to protect Nesta although i would absolutely love to see him playing in the World Cup, i think he is doing the right decision. i don't think it will be wrong to ask for a quality CB in winter beside a full back given all the games we have to play and the fact that we have yet to find a decent cover for our current CB pair (Kaladze, Favalli, and the ever-absent Bonera) look at Barcelona, they had 3 quality CBs (Puyol, Pique, & Marques) and they still splashed 25Mio to get Chygrynski.... a big team needs a big quality squad |

He said the same in the summer and no1 arrived just Hunter , who as MRKI said was maybe part of the Kaka deal. But a surprise isn't always a good thing , I just cannot see the MGT spending big on any players and when I say big Im talking 8 - 12 million not exactly huge compared to other clubs but I hope I am wrong.

Blacktop, I agree with you on most things actually...its just that when you talk about a certain someone that I disagree! but you're definitely right on Rino..I used to like him, but that incident in the Inter game just absolutely made me think that he literally is a caveman. I want him out as soon as possible after him commanding a starting spot after the joke of a performance against Inter.
