It doesn't matter if he isn't EU since he'll be transferring from an Italian team. Or does the fact that he's rescinded negate that? I'm confused.

I like Pandev, but I agree that getting him will mean that we won't buy another winger in the summer.

So will Adiyah go to Livorno? Who will we get to use the non-EU he frees?

BTW its all over the belgian news, Milan Jovanovic will sign for AC Milan after this season, he's a free agent then. The chairman of standard liege has said this. so I believe its true...

i think Pandev is a very good player and will be a very good addition...i am just a bit worried about his level right now that he has been so long out of action

but i think it's really shameful that AC Milan cannot actually consider going for a quality player unless they can get him for free!!! what's the deal with that? why are we in such a financial mess? we have won the champions league 2x since 2003 and reached a final while Juve reached one final and spent a yr in serie B and 2 with no champions league (compared to our 1) and can still spend 50Mio on 2 players (Melo & Diego) while we sell 2 players (Kaka & Gourcuff) for maybe 80Mio and cannot afford to get Dzeko for 25-30Mio...!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know you will all blame Galliani and Berlu but does anyone have some kind of source for our financials?

the only thing that would make sense is that when this new UEFA regulation about not allowing clubs with debt to participate in the CL be implemented we will be the ONLY team allowed :S

See, this is why I liked the fact the prospect of us signing Pandev. A lot of you guys act like if we do not sign Pandev, we would go for someone big like Krasic, Cassano or Aguero, but the fact had always been that we were only going to go for someone incredibly cheap for that role. A guy like Jovanovic fits in perfectly with our standard, just like Onyewu did. That is why I love the Pandev move and hope that it will happen because Jovanovic just isn't worth our time.

So no one has heard of the rumours linking us to Inler????

Also, people are doubting Addiyah. Best option is to send him on loan and see if he can break it at senior level. However, do not insert any stupid buy out clause at the same time.....

Galliani was proudly stating that he had bought Gourcuff for around three million, and sold him off for 15..... Wouldn't such "gainful" business deals put Milan into a good finiacial position. ?

Doesn't ANYONE ELSE stress over like me about the obvious lack of depth beyond Thiago Silva and Nesta?????? We have beheld the aewsome skill and defensive capabilities of Kaladze and the vibrant Favalli when they have played this season..... I don't think we can afford to rely on these two spent players for the rest of the season if Silva (who has been injured twice this season) and/or Nesta (back niggles) injure themselves.... It could quite frankly ruin our season..... I think not having another striker come in to supplement our already imporessive strike force would hurt us at all, atleast NOT for the rest of the season.......

So, I don't mind how everyone is discussing strikers, even for January, but hey, I think central defensers is a MUST! ANyone else pease??????

I mentionned it one or two pages earlier but like I said, the problem with this rumour is that I read it on Calciomercato and there were no source, just a title looking like "Milan already working on the summer mercato" and a small text (2 lines) to say that we were interested by Inler, no source, no quote, nothing.

About the money. Today, football club cannot gain any money to its owner, believe it or not. So, an owner who's doing business at zero income = zero outcome, it's success for him financially. Juve got the money for Diego and Melo from the bank. Perez took his ~250 mil. spent from the bank also. The money we got for Kaka and Gourcuff, plus 20 mil. gained for CL this season (until now), that's about 100mil., got us out of debt.

Pandev is virtually an Inter player according to Football-Italia and sky sports , so it looks like Inter will strengten and we get a 34 year old Beckham and a kid who will probably never play . Now Beckham will do well but as long term squad building goes I think we will all be very mad and furious all January.

Inter has signed 26 year old excellent player like Pandev who plays great in serie a and could do really well in Milan in all frontal positions etc. But Galliani is simply not working, he is not doing anything at all. Adiyiah, Qnyewu, Jovanovic - 3 players we dont need in Milan, all signed in "new team period" - genial.

The key is Berlusconi, as I always say, pay for players or go to hell away from AC Milan. PAst is past, this is new time of football.

Also, Inter on for Gourcuff for the summer. Morratti wants revenge for Pirlo and Seedorf deals.

milannews says our top summer targets are going to be Dzeko and Inler. Both are very good players and would be useful at Milan. Dzeko I think is necessary, but Inler would be an interesting addition. With Ambro, Rino and Flamini already playing as DM and Inler's abilities generally more suited for the role, it seems a player we don't necessarily need.

Of course Galliani is working! He is working his ass off to try and get Dida to sign a new contract!
BTW, I just realized something, if Dida signs his new contract, doesn't that basically mean that Marchetti is not going to be signed? We already have three keepers who have contract next season in Dida, Abbiatti and Storari.
