SUmming up from the past few days, it seems like everything is set and done for Milan Jovanovic. He's going to come in the summer for free and I believe he has a Belgian passport so he won't take any of our Non-EU places for next year. Jovanovic plays on the left wing (R80's spot). I am very worried this might mean we will pass up on our opportunity to sign the highly rated Krasic, and I really hope this doesn't mean Dzeko's not coming.

This signing reminds me very much of Thiago Silva's. We really were in desperate need for a defender in January, then we sign one but he would join us in June. We've done the exact same thing with Jovanovic (very typical of our management that they don't learn from their mistakes). Let's see if they get someone else.

As far as I know we have a partnership deal with Standard Liege, which explains Gooch and Jovanovic. I guess Jovanovic is an ok signing, he's clearly going to be a fringe player for us.

NOt sure have any of you been looking at the Polls by Goal.com about the best player in each position over the past 10 years. With the exception of GK, there is at least one player from Milan in each of the categories. To me thats amazing and it shows why Milan is one of the better squads over the past 10 years.

The sad thing is that, the trend that Berlu is heading, I think only T. Silva and Pato will be in such polls 10 years from now.

New rumours say Adiyiah will be loaned to Chievo so that we can sign Krasic,Jovanovic will arrive in summer.

I doubt this,CKSA Moskou is like us in the last sixteen of Champions League,so i doubt they will release him now...

Yep, Eurico is a criminal(convict). The problem in Brazil is in the top of the Justice, Supremo Tribunal Federal(like a Supreme Court) and in the stances a guy have to appeal. In most of the cases you can be judged and condemned in a "local" court. But you can appeal in a second level in a "state" court. After that you have the Superior Court and the dirty one, the Supreme Court.

Eurico was already condemned in the first and second if I´m not wrong, but he´s appealing and I have my doubts the Supreme will condemn IT.

Brazil had luck Lula had the possibility to nominate(due to retirements) 3 minister of Supreme Court, and put there 3 honorable men. But they are minority, and the place still is very filthy and friendly with people with money and power.

Plus, the structure of a Brazilian club(with few excptions) is different from Europe, and you can literally break a Club with bad administration, and nothing will happens to you in a personal level. The paradise for criminals...

Anyway, the reason I asked about Eurico is because I thought he might be the reason we never had many deals with Vasco in the past and why maybe we didn't go after Alex Teixera.

Maybe, but I really don´t know... Also, the last Vasco products were literaly bad boys that didn´t fit Milan style of players, and maybe this also help. But Alex is a really good lad... still raw, but with 2 years of professional football at the back, and used to Brazilians NT´s also. Not only Milan, but several big and middle teams in Europe fail in let this guy goes to Ukraine.

One a side note: Internacional bought 50% of the rights of Giuliano that were at the hands of the TRAFFIC(sports manager company, the biggest in Brazil), and now are owners of 100% of his rights.

Good news: We created a good link with Inter in Pato´s purchase, and get rid of TRAFFIC... that is very, VERY close to Barça.
Bad news: Internacional will not sell cheap. They always said they need to sell one player per window, and the player chose to be selled now is Sandro(Spurs and Inter are in the hunt). So, besides a outrageous offer, they will not sell their jewel now in January... But thats come back to good news since we have no money now

am i the only one thats incredibly happy R80 might leave us?, im tired of his immature arse and antics he still thinks hes 16 we fined him aganst zurich and were going to aganst la viola couple weeks ago again, hopefully adiyah gets adjusted quick that'll be nice to have a chemistry with adiyah 18, borriello 26-27 and pato at 20 the frontline would become incredibly be young AND NOT LAZY!

R80 is not going to leave us any soon and he's been one of our most consistent performers in the past couple of months. Hopefully his contribution only improves and I hope can make a difference in the CL (that's the only place that he is yet to impress in a Milan shirt).

From all the three serbian players we've been linked with recently, unfortunately and logically our management went with the cheapest one (worst one and oldest one). It will be very unfortunate if we miss on Krasic and especially Dzeko.

BTW why the hell doesn't Serbia join the EU already...they have amazing players and their only problem is that they can't easily join Italian teams!

Anyway, with Jovanovic coming in, better to get Adiyah out on loan straight away. I don't like co ownership deals....

The only way we get Krasic in January is if we sell Huntelaar now and park Adiyah. I'm all for that, as we have too many CF and not enough wingers. Krasic can also play in Seedorfs position, right?

i think we should get Krasic in Jan,and still keep hunterlaar, as he may prove very good with beckham making him those on target crosses.

Sigh, if only Boriello was more accurate hey????

Atleast Pato makes some oppurtunities for himself due to his leg speed

I wish that was true mate, but one moment in business you think they will goive u preference, the next... Even Perez was reluctant to sell Hunter to milan after the Kaka deal.

I think we can repay Liege by perhaps loaning some players over (suggestion? Digao already went there).... But I think Aidyah better learn his trade in Serie A.

It is scary that all those players you listed, whether we like it or not, play a major role in the team. And some of them have been able to because there has been quite simply no pressure from others players ready to step in as you said..... Simply, we can't afford not to bring in players in transfer windows. We must top up now and send our youngsters on loan (or give them a go), or else when the time comes that these veterans retire, we will have a bunch of inexperienced kids playing for us, with little money to buy more.

Also, does everyone know that Jovanovic is injured for the rest of the season?? He has knee problems....

i dont know much about Jovanovic,he is a big questionmark for me,especially considering he stars in a league like Belgian where Onyewu came from.

Yet Krasic is a world class player,would be great addition to us.i'd rather to have Krasic instead Jovanovic.

we have a wing back problem and however Bordeaux's left back is ideal for us,pushing really hard from left and ideal wing back in modern football.

im still backing my word about this team needs a BTB midfielder and striker instead of Borriello,cuz Borriello is not enough,Pippo is too old and Huntelaar is not suited to 4-3-3.

By the way,if we dont sign anyone,we should look at bosman players,F.Aurellio,Chamakh,Kallström,Simplicio are all bosman players.

Simplicio would be nice additions to our squad.same goes for Chamakh who is a underrated player in my opinion,especially if we wont sign Dzeko!

The first 3 rumours in that list are rather depressing. I can understand if Huntelaar leaves given his lack of match time, but I doubt we'd replace him with anyone worthwhile so we're probably better off keeping him right now and offloading him in the summer.

Vagner Love is one of the most overrated strikers I can remember in the last decade. He's really not what we need and I'd think he'd be a waste of a transfer. Same goes for Jovanovic, who I'm not at all convinced by and I can't see him playing a much bigger role than Gooch at Milan (a number in the squad).

The last rumour sounds the most promising. Adiyiah seems like he needs to be loaned and Krasic would be an immediately useful player in our side. He offers a different option in wide areas to both Pato and Dinho and we'd be able to rotate more frequently. Unfortunately it would be the least likely rumour to be true of all those mentioned.

Krasic shouldn't really influence Huntelaar's role in the squad as he plays wide right generally. However, he is capable in Seedorf's role as well as you said.
