The reason why I said that is simply because the money we get from Huntelaar would be what we pay for Krasic; 15m. We'd end up with 3 (maybe 4) CF's after Huntelaar leaves.

Krasic IN and Huntelaar OUT would be great IMO. we have borriello and pippo in attack, pato can also play there. Krasic can play as winger instead of pato or dinho and in seedorfs place. he would be a fantastic signing!

EDIT: I dont think this will happen, krasic will cost money and silvio and galliani never want to spend... Jovanovic it will be!

Looking at all of your posts made me realise we need a whole lot of new players.

In my opinion we need the folllowing players(in the right order)

First a new good backup CB,then a winger, then a striker, then a box to box midfielder, then a fullback and last but not least a new goalkeeper.

I was just watching some games of us,and suddenly i realised,if Thiago or Sandro gets hurt and will miss the United game, then we will play in the back with Favalli/Kaladze.....really,who are we joking? We will be so damn shaky at the back.

Also we have other issues,Borriello isnt made for big quality games, its hard to face but its the truth,Borriegol is nothing more then a big decent CF who can break down little Serie A teams, when playing against good teams he cant make a impression because he hasnt the talent to do it......Huntelaar has but unfortunaly he doesnt fit with us.We need someone who can is world-class.

Same goes for wingers as for defense, when one of Pato/Ronaldinho is out,we have to play with Abate on the wing.....?!?

Goalkeeper isnt that big of a issue(well it is but compared to other needs it can wait). If Dida doesnt do freakstuff he is acctually a solid goalkeeper with sometimes worldclass saves. And Abbiati isnt that bad,we saw last season.

With Beckham allot will be solved, but we still need more in January

Im standing behind my words that Huntelaar is uch, much better player then Boriello. But if Leo is not gonna play Hunter then the best solution for Milan is to sell him and invest that money into something we need.

If that new player can be Krasic, good. Then Pato can play CF and we have gained on quality for sure.

Why does Huntelaar not suit 4-3-3? Seems to have done exceptionlly well in te past in tht system. Just give him the start he needs and deserves and people will see his class.

Belgian news reports say that Jovanovic got offers from 15 teams! fenerbahce is the latest one and they want to give him 15,5m euros for 3 seasons... I hope he wants them!

If we have to sell Huntelaar then I would make Pato the focal point of the attack and sign a player on the right. Even though he has been scoring goals while playing on the right, I think his performances haven't been as good as they could have been. He should be the one receiving service, not the one providing service to a striker.

i also wanted to quote JuanShoe but i don't know how to quote 2 different posts :$

anyway, i agree that Huntelaar is a far better player than Boriello even though Boriello is better in some areas, Huntelaar is the better STRIKER...
we all seem to remember that Huntelaar did get his chance at the begining of the season but we don't seem to remember that that coincided with our poorest form and before Leo worked out the current system...
since then, from what i can remember, he was only really used twice:
catania: got us 2 goals in 7-8 mins!!!
sampdoria: we were 3-0 up and the match was over.

i also was checking his scoring stats in his career so far (from http://www.footballdatabase.com/inde...-Jan_Huntelaar) (thanks to Stitch for that website), and although some might argue that he was playing in the Dutch league which is not really top-class (sorry Dutchie-Milan :$) but he has an incredible 144 goals scored in 202 games played!!! and 8 of those in Spain :P

Krasic for Huntelaar??? well i'd rather have Krasic for Boriello to be honest.

one more thing, Beckham will be a really gr8 addition i think simply because of his deliveries especially on set pieces (yes i think he is much better than Pirlo in those) and given that this yr we have players like Nesta, Silva, Boriello/Huntelaar, and Ambrosini in the starting 11, we can expect more goals from set pieces

Yeah, Beckham will be taking most of our set pieces as Pirlo and Ronaldinho have been terrible.

I disagree completely that Huntelaar is better than Borri for us. Huntelaar is a goal poacher, Borri is a target man. We need a target man. That's why we're going after Dzeko.

a point of reference. Look at pato's goal tally w/ borriello as opposed to huntelaar. Boreillo works for the team more so, and pato benefits. Huntelaar does NOT work for a team and pato ends up tooo deep as a result.

This has nothing to do w/ being a poacher either IMO. Pippo does an excellent job working for the team. Infact Hunt's goals can be contributed to pippo, knocking ti back and creating masterful space

In the formation we are playing, with pato on the right and dinho on the left I think we need someone like borriello and not huntelaar... Maybe Huntelaar is a better STRIKER, his style doesnt suit our team better than borriello's style of play. offcourse dzeko would be an improvement...
the think I'd like to see is Dinho-Pato-Krasic

kinda lightweight.... if we got krasic and dzeko we should switch to some sort of hybrid 4-4-2.... krasic has a good defensive work rate. Pato-dzeko is an ideal partnership.....

with all these rumors of Ronaldinho wanting to go to Brazil we should let him go. He's motivated now to make 2010 world cup. He won't go to 2014 WC, he won't be motivated for Milan, he should go to brazil and play out his days out

i'm not sure how Boriello's work is contributing to Pato's goals really, i seem to remember that most were assists from Ronaldinho and Boriello isn't really the master of positioning like Inzaghi and i'm not sure he draws in more defenders than Huntelaar. i also barely ever see him going back to help on defence (aside from set pieces of course) whereas you can usually see him a fraction late on a cross or through ball, missing the finishing touch, or holding the ball a bit too long on counter-attacks (very "seedorfily")...

it's true that Inzaghi contributed to both his goals against Catania but i think any striker would rather have a close partner to create more space for him than 2 wide wingers far from him.

and for those calling for Pato also to be used as the striker, I think he can do great there given his previous performances last yr and the yr before when we had to use him as a lone striker when everybody was injured...but of course we need someone to take his place on the wing...
