From the whole 180 minutes against Barca last season, that is all u saw????
Barca were playing fantasy football at the time and were supposed to crush all opposition and Chelsea were only undone by a last-gasp goal and not just the result, the performance they put in, especially in that return leg in London was simply a masterpiece!!!

Come on people! Hiddink is world class!!
I agree, Hiddink is world-class, but he's not in the same league as Capello or Lippi, as I already said.

I don't want to enter discussion about Ancelotti too much, he made some mistakes yes, those loses came because he didn't want to rotate during season, with our midfield trio playing 50 games a season, season after season, but he practically made the team that was struggling to get 4th place on Serie A table into the best team of this decade, the team who made 3 CL finals in 5 years, with just under 50 mil. spent on transfers (35 on Nesta and 15 on Kaka). His genius made Pirlo from average attacking midfielder into the best deep-lying playmaker for years and he took written off Seedorf for nothing, making the best midfield in the world. Hiddink never had success with a big team, so it's silly to say he's the best coach in the world.

I don't want to enter another pointless discussion, but I think that Barca is over-hyped and if there wasn't a CRMINAL refereeing in the second leg, they wouldn't be in CL final last year. For you, Barca is playing fantasy football, but for me Barca is very good team with slow and predictable game. If you watched football back in mid '90's, Barca were playing slow predictable "fantasy football" like now, and then came Milan with powerful midfield and "mighty" Barca made one shot on target for whole match, struggling to keep possession even for 20 seconds, conceding 4 in the process (it could be more).

For Dzeko, Dzeko has told that he won't leave Wolsburg in January on local TV station the other day. He will perhaps leave in June...

His agent says his price is between four and ten million.....so lets say he will cost 6 million, thats way to much in my opinion....
Dutchie, stop trying to say to everyone that they are false ... I'm against this purchase, and I was talking about this summer and not January.

So your second point is a non-sense here, and for your first point, we will certainly not pay that much for him firstly (as he will be a free agent) and like I said in my previous post, I don't know his level.

And IF our management doesn't see any other valid option and doesn't want to hire any other player, I'm ok for Jovanovic as, like I said, he will add some depth, which is what we need.
For me:
- best solution = another player (a better one of course)
- average solution = Jovanovic (for free)
- worst solution = no player

Galliani has good relationships with Lotito but all the papers say he did try to sign Pandev. Pandev was a great chance considering he is 26, can play more then one role and is a very good player indeed.

Before I go off with my friends for a new year's trip, I just want to say:

1. Have a good time my MM friends, enjoy your parties!!
2. Go to hell G&B, Milan cannot work without money! Bale, Dzeko, this-that, bla,bla...nothing will happen. In the end, Adiyiah was registered, wow!
3. Hang on Huntelaar, you have my support!

for the few minutes I seen Huntelaar this year, I would really really think it would be a mistake to sell him..... I hope we can give him a chance.

so much to discuss in there but for Bosniaco's sake, i won't
as long as you agreed that he is "world class" and not another "good coach" as you first stated, then i'll leave it there

on another note:
as we know Milan now cannot afford signing the best Spanish/Brazilian/Argentinian/English/French... player of the year, why not look in Eastern Europe???

Dzeko: elected best Bosnian player for 2009
Krasic: elected best Serbian player for 2009

just saying....

The truth is Pandev picked Inter over Milan for one reason or another.
I can understand Pandev picking Inter as he should get some fair playing time when certain players like Eto'o go to the African Nations cup.

Supposedly we're going after Dzeko quickly to try and secure him ahead of competitors by sending someone to speak to Wolfsburg. Sources are goal.com and milannews.

Also read an interesting article on Milannews which interviewed Mauro Pederzoli. I'm guessing many here like myself probably won't know a great deal about him but he actually became our leading scout at youth level during the last summer. It seems he's been key to us getting Zigoni, Berretta et al this season and he's said we're still looking into Hotter, though nothing's secure yet. I don't know much more about him other than I think he worked for Liverpool in the recent past, but he could well be a key figure in our future success should the extraordinary activity we've seen in our youth development in recent months amount to anything. However, we must acknowledge that our success in youth level this season must be heavily credited to him. Also interesting to note that he distanced himself from the Adiyiah transfer, as he said the player was bought for senior level and has nothing to do with him.

Dev, if he worked for Pool's youth/scout over the past few years, he really aint that good. As beside Agger, the rest of the younger Pool players ain't that good. Torres does not count as everybody but Berlu and Galli know he has potential.

yeah....i'd rather have an ex-Arsenal scout!
but i'm still hopeful he's doing well....as ACMILAN1983 said, the youth team results are promising

Id love to know honestly as much as all you guy's. WHAT THE FCUK IS BERLU DOING. If he and Milan have no money to even buy players for 3 and 4 million then sell up. There is 13 Milan players who will retire well alot of them in the next 3 years are they going to close the club down. And for someone who says he loves Milan why let it fade into mediocrity instead of selling it. It has become embarrassing that we do not have 2 2euro coins to rub together at 30 for Dzeko , 14 for Cissokho , 15 Sneijder , 5 or 6 for De Silvestri , Krasic 15 million thats 79 or 80 million and Imagine how much better the team would be. Now they could all crash and burn but I don't think so.

Jay, Berlusconi is trying to get his money back, that's all. He is going to sell one star player after another to recoup his money and then sell the club to someone else for a nice profit. It is not a bad business decision, but I wouldn't hesitate to punch him in the face too if I ever saw him.

I think we are making too much out of this half of the squad will retire in 3 years claim. Look at what the club has been doing the last half a decade and you will see that these players will be here for a lot longer than that. The management will offer them stupid money on extensions to make sure AC Milan still has big name players (no matter how outdated they are) to brag about when asked about how poorly the team is.

I know , I just wish i had hit him harder two weeks ago..lol.

Its awful but there is nothing we can do unless we all win the euro millions month after month and buy the club. I just wonder who he will sell next because Pato will not fetch 60 - 80 million he is not scoring enough but is beeing played out on the right , and he is not in his national squad . So we don't have a player riht now that will get huge money for Berlu****face and none after Pato. Jesus that man makes my blood boil.

In summary, these are the kind of signings Milan can only afford to make these days, as stated by Galliani himself recently. I.M.O, this guy represents more than Adiyah, and to lose him to another club, even worse, another top four Serie A club is disastrous for us. I know many of us thought this deal was done and dusted, but I sense another Cissoko deal on the cards....

I would take ManU, as they are just loaded with good young players.

??
When a player is sold, people have to stop thinking that the money goes in the pockets of Berlusconi or Galliani, that's wrong !!

And selling your best players (which also means having worse results) just decreases the value of your club ... so it's a very bad business decision !!

No disrespect, GeoTav, but how do you know that the money doesn't go to Berlusconi? If he could pump his own money into the team to buy players, then he certainly has ways to take money out of the club when he sells players. That's the problem with privately held soccer teams, the owners can do whatever they want with the money.

The value of the club doesn't really decrease that rapidly. Look at the teams in the NBA, even the Clippers, a team that made the playoffs once in the last 20 years or something is still appreciating in value. The buyers are more interested in the brand name of the team rather than its players. So Berlusconi can actually sell every good player we have and still sell the team for a very high price, as long as he keeps up the brand image of the team. That also explains why players like Dida, Inzaghi, Pirlo, Seedorf and Kaladze are all kept around.
