Felipe Melo is playing, isn't he? Only Caceres is banned.

I think you are right. I really resent Melo though. He reminds me of the dirty Emerson at a dirty Juventus; of course, Melo isn't as good as Emerson, but his dirtyness is no inferior.

Seedorf and Zambrotta being out are pretty big losses. Seedorf out can be covered as shown in the last match, but Zambrotta out means Abate will have to play, which is somewhat a risk.
Pato is also likely out (I read on milannews he could even miss Inter), which is a big loss. |

Seedorf out is a big loss in big games like this one! I hope we'll see flamini instead of gattuso

no other changes can be made given zambro & pato's absences however, it's good that this formation was put to test and succeeded brilliantly before going into the Juve match |

Can't wait for this game. I have a feeling that if we win then we'll be able to present a serious title challenge for Inter. It was a win over Roma that started our latest run, can see a win over Juve have an even greater effect.
Just a shame with all the injuries, looks like they finally caught up with us. I guess it was to be expected, this time last year we had loads of injuries as well. I agree, I'd rather see Flamini instead of Rino. Rino still hasn't impressed since his injury in my opinion, and it looks like he still needs time before he can return to his best, which I think btw, that he's capable of. FORZA MILAN |

Kind of glad the injuries are happening now then in late Feb. Beside, as long as NEsta and Silva are playing, I am fine with having Slowdorf or Janku or Oddo being injured.
Can't wait for this Juve game. |

What is the situation with Jankulovski? He is listed as available for quite some time, he was on bench against Genoa, which means he's 100%. I would play him rather than Abate, when fit and in form he's better in just about everything apart from speed and will to track back. He is Leonardo's first choice on the left, also. So, Antonini on the right and Jankulovski on the left for me.
Then, Bonera? Medical report said that he's in full training from 2 January, but he was not called up against Genoa, which means he's still away from full fitness. We really need him becuase with either of Nesta or Thiago injured we are ****ed. |

It's a big no to him for the following reasons: - Zambro and Antonini are better in defence - Zambro and Antonini are better than him when they go forward (special mention to Antonini) - He has no connection with Ronaldinho whereas Zambro has, and surprisingly, Antonini is very connected with Ronaldinho on the pitch (they understand each other and that allows Ronaldinho to level up as he has one more solution) And to finish, where did you see that Janku was the first choice of Leo ?! I hope he will use Antonini on the left and Zambro or Abate on the right ... and as Zambro will come back from injury if I'm not wrong, using again Antonini-Abate as FBs could be the best solution. |

Antonini and Ronaldinho are apparently best friends off the pitch, too.
I'm very glad that Camo and Buffon aren't playing. I'm still fearing Diego a bit, and Chiellini will no doubt give us lots of problems, but it seems like a winnable game. I'm not sure if Pato can make it, but we can play without him for now. Zambro on the other hand is actually more important now, since his only replacement is Abate. Let's hope he has a good game. We're going to be getting lots of free kicks this game so i'm putting my money on Beckham getting a goal. Who's with me?

I see "draw" written all over this one...
Pato and Seedorf being out are huge losses for us. I do hope we can recover one, if not both of them for this game....however, I liked what I saw vs Genoa, though I doubt Juve will give us the same space/make the same mistakes... And forget getting 3 pks vs those guys!! ![]() Hope we win, FORZA MIIIIIILAN!! Let's end Juve's title hopes this weekend!!

We are dangerous on free kicks now....although we haven't scored a direct one yet (i can't think of one). Ronaldinho has been out of touch on the free kicks lately (even though he's only had a couple at great positions), so I think he is due one soon. Hopefuly this weekend. But Beckham scoring would be just fine too.
Anyhow, as far as everything else goes.....there is absolutely NO reason why we shouldn't be able to beat this Juventus team, which is in bad form, low morale, with changes in management on the door, with injuries to key players in their line-up. If we don't beat them now and do it comfortably, then I don't know when we will.

Its has been a long time that we have beaten Juventus, and like you said, the right time has come to finish them. Last year we missed Kaka while they were with full strength, now things had changed.
To bad Pato and Seedorf arent able to play, with them available our winning chances would increase. Pato maybe can play,we dont know his situation. But even without Zambro,Seedorf and Pato we still have a team enough who is strong and can beat this Juve. Lets kick their asses. Ferrara is under pressure,Del Piero is out of from and Amauri...well he hasnt scored in ages?....Trez is out as well as Iaquinta.Caceres is suspended and thank god Buffon isnt in goal.We HAVE to beat them, this is the right time. I hope Becks can play like he did vs Genoa, and important is that Ambro stands his ground again on sunday,Ronaldinho should burn Grygera.Chiellini is a big problem,he is a beast. But Canna is finished. |

I was comparing Janku with Abate, NOT with Antonini and Zambrotta, and the reason is because Zambrotta is injured right now. I agree that Zambrotta and Antonini are better in defense. But going forward, Jankulovski is better than both, when in form! I really don't know where all that bashing of Jankulovski came from, but for the most part of last season (when he was 100%) he was AWESOME going forward. Hell, in some matches he was our best player on the pitch, he was like winger sometimes, putting in cross after cross. His understanding is not good part of his game, but his attacking intelligence, i.e. getting himself into good attacking position, and passing (especially crossing) and shooting abilities are unrivaled of all our full-backs! His problems are that he's not left back, but left midfielder or left wing-back so he's not good enough in defense (which makes me think that Antonini and Oddo are better SB solution!) and that he's not getting any younger and better. And to finish (no need for irony either!), who was our LB in most friendly matches last summer? Please tell me. |
