Let's not get carried away. We didn't play all that well. Most of our goals were lucky accidents. We did not win. Juve lost.

We had no real attacking threat. We did, however, play excellent possession football, and we rarely gave Juve time on the ball. That's what you get with 3 DMs and Beckham, I suppose. Tactically, we were defensively brilliant, but attacking-wise, not so much. Pato and Seedorf will fix this.

Pirlo did well 2nd half. Antonini and Abate did great. Nesta and Thiago Silva are just too good for Serie A, we need to create a new SuperLeague so these guys can get a real challenge...

Good game and 3 points...

T.Silva-Nesta tandem is simply the best one.Silva,what a player,he does everything...amazing...

Pirlo did well, our midfield did well, our problem was offensive power,as we missed both Seedorf and Pato.

Becks did well with corners yet Becks is not ideal player for there.we scored 3 goals from dead balls,we didnt create much chance,i think juve players did well, fighted well but we beat them with our quality, they just lacked quality...

Neither Huntelaar nor Borriello makes me happy for first choice,Borriello again did nothing in a big game,i always said that we will be diffrerent team with a wing back, btb and striker,Milito,Fabiano esque striker...

Regarding juve coach,he really thought he can create dangers with just Diego and Amauri vs Nesta,Silva tandem?

It looked like the weather played a major role in the way this game was played by both teams !! No player was really accelerating, probably fearing a muscular injury ...

Anyway, Juventus didn't have any chance to score (maybe just one actually) whereas without being too dangerous (except the excellent shoot of T.Silva), we scored 3 goals ...

It was a derby, against a direct opponent, playing well or bad isn't important, the only thing that counts there is to win. And 3-0 in Torino against Juventus, it's really a very very very good and pleasing result !!

Back at -8 from Inter, -2 after beating Fiorentina and Inter ... ^^

Our defense was absolutely amazing this game. I don't think Juventus had one clear chance on goal for the entire game. Silva is a monster in the air and Nesta is just perfection. I missed the third goal though, because my stream died and ReMad's link doesn't work. Does anyone have it?

Yes, we lacked vertical play and speed ( in transition ). But brk, aldough I agree Seedorf will improove our creativity going forward, with Seedorf we will loose this compact trio in midfield. Remember, when Seedorf plays, we do play 4-2-4 in some strange way. Now we play 4-3-3. For me, Pirlo plays that role better then Seedorf. Problem is that we couldnt create becouse Gattuso is again completely unable to do anything with the ball. I would like to see Beckham-Pirlo-Ambrosini in the middle just once so I can see how that will work.

On PAto issue - of course we missed Patinho, lets just hope he'll come back soon.

To conclude on this issue: Balance is needed, and sometimes maybe its good we close up a bit, aldough Seedorf is well known for playing great vs big teams.
------------------------------------

On the game: actually I do not care how do we play when we play Juve or Inter, I only care about the result that is all. We did it partially coz Juve is horrible but partially coz we were playing tactically very well and gave our all ( Im not satisfied with Dinho aldough he scored twice ).

T. Silva - we have that box-to-box midfielder we need Brilliant player, sick game today!!!

As far as Im concerned, we need 4 points from those 2 games, that would be ok. However, Inter needs to start dropping points or...

Well, it was routine win for us. We scored three after corner kicks. Leonardo was very smart to sit back and save the power, because the season is long.

The whole team was good, with special praise to Thiago Silva, Pirlo, Nesta, Ronaldinho and Antonini.

Thiago was absolutely FANTASTIC, won every single header to Amauri, safe in possession, brilliant. Nesta was man-marking Amauri and he was equally great. Pirlo was great too, especially in the second half, he was always there to run to make options for his players, and that was real Pirlo in Milan's shirt, finally. Antonini was great running forward, he was offside like 3 times, which isn't bad, just shows his eagerness to go up. Abate was obviously ordered to sit back and he didn't made any errors.

And please don't listen all of Gattuso hatters around here, because Gattuso was very good tonight. He intercepted many passes, combined well, ALWAYS was available for a pass in midfield, did A LOT of covering work (which many of his haters don't want to see, as I already said), and didn't misplaced many passes. For all that I saw, he was surely better than Ambrosini for example. You're full of **** talking like "we didn't create nothing because of Gattuso"! What did Ambrosini created this evening, what did anyone created by the way?! But no, if we can't create there's Gattuso to be bashed. I guess even on the bench he would be guilty if we couldn't create.

ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?

Borriello is the only reason the 433 works! Without him, we lose. Simple as that. Nobody is working as hard as Borriello does. He runs and battles more than Ambro and Gattuso sometimes. He makes the room for Ronaldinho (and Pato) to work. Without him, we'd be weak and predictable. Being up front is not just a matter of scoring goals. He does more than that. Way more.

Edit: I agree, Gattuso played very well today. He nullified Diego and covered when both Beckham and Abate went forward.

I totally agree. The weather was getting worse as the game went on, and near the end of the match I could hardly see the pitch from the camera feed. I was wondering how in the world our players could even see the ball in the final 5 minutes, cause I couldn't at all.

Given the fact that we were actually playing a direct rival, and especially on their turf, you would have expected us to play defensive football. On this front, I think we did excellent, where the only threatening play I can remember all match came when they poked the ball at Dida during a corner (which I say shouldn't have happened since Melo had actually fouled Abate in the build up to that). Other than that, I really don't think we did at all poorly.

We had 60% of the posession in the first half, and probably over 50% in the second half. Given we were the away side, and them being Juve (albiet a substandard Juve), that in itself is no mean feat.

-2 by the Inter match? Thats assuming they won't drop points
For the past few weeks now, they've been dangerously close to it. Their time will come, trust me. The main thing will be whether we can take advantage or not.

Oh, correct me if I'm wrong, but does this mean Dinho has 6 goals in the League now?

This wasn't a game in which we played brilliantly, but people will only remember the scoreline starting tomorrow. I am very happy for the 3 points but I am even happier that we didn't seem to spend too much effort at all. In this crazy month, we need to preserve as much energy as possible. I don't mind either that Ambrosini got the yellow and will miss the next game. This way he will be fresh against Inter in two weeks' time. When Pato and Seedorf are back, we should be ready for Inter challenge.

What a boring game, still. If only that damn Merda side lost yesterday!
