Who is the 'Goalkeeper of the Decade' in your opinion?
Its a very straight forward question. Now lets see who the MM members think is the best of the last 10 years. One this is for sure, I can bet my whole property and my degrees+certificates and my beloved hair that the winner won't be d!da

Give your answer and tells us about the moments and reasons which made you to pick that certain GK. It would make things more interesting

By the way, i think I know who will win this contest and guess what, I also think it will make a lot of Juve fans happy

As much as I like the unbelievable talents of the legendary King Oliver Kahn and the Sain Iker Casillas , I can't really look beyond Gigi Buffon when it comes to the best goal keeper of the last 10 years. Although Juve has had lows recently, but Buffon has always been a scary presence adn no one has that kind of image imo

By the way, any one remember the way Buffon stopped AC Milan from winning the Scudetto in 2005 inside the San Siro?

allow me to explain you why nobody is interested in voting in your thread.

You have Shay Give, Julio Cesar(Not even close to the old dida) and Victor Valdez in the list..and u didnt put Dida, who deserves to be in the List without a discussion,not to mention that we are in a Milan forum!!! wanted or not he was top three GK for a longer period. 2003-2006 He was better than most of the Gk that made your list.
And I know ur gonna say, remember Leeds, Inter and real game...yes he was horrible but so were Barthez and Valdes at times.

And comments like we are jealous that we didnt have gk like Real,Chelsea and Juve. dont help either.

In few words your thread is BS. it seems like u want more to provoke the members than actually choose the best Gk of the decade.

Agree completely. It's so bad that the only other content is a quintuple post by the pinhead who opened it.

Good idea. Just really don't get why Van Der Sar and Barthez were nominated. Barthez was a joke, end of story. Van Der Sar?? This guy is the most overrated goalkeeper ever... People seem to forget that he was dumped by Juve because he was so poor... He then spend the rest of his prime in the mighty Fulham. I don't watch Man Utd regularly, but whenever I watch them Van Der Sar is really nothing special, at times he's even poor... I just don't get it.

Dida obviously needs to be there in my opinion, he was WAY better than both the Man Utd keepers, who were probably even more error prone than him.

In my opinion it's between Kahn and Buffon, they're way above the rest as far as I'm concerned. But Buffon is the winner, clearly One of the best keepers ever.

In terms of class and quality no one comes close to Buffon and Casillas. I'll give Iker his first vote but it's Buffon really

Well I dislike him as much as you do, but the fact is that since his move to Man Utd, they have won 3 EPL titles, played 2 UCL finals and have won some other titles as well. But the most important thing is tht he holds the record for the most number of consecutive clean sheets, some thing in the range in 10 - 13 in the league where its end to end stuff. Having said that I hate that player as much as you do
