------------------- Ambro----------------------------

Seedorf ----------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------Pirlo

Becks--------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------R80

----------------Borrigol---------------------------

we have to use our new stlye now i just hope to god nesta plays

Cannot agree more. LMAO. Nesta and Kala.. Haahhahaa...What s happening to this world. Kala is light years away from even being Nesta s shadow. No offence to any of the Kala supporters but the fact remains.

Nesta has to play. oh man, its going to be disastrous if he s not playing. i was counting on him to stop Sneijder. Noooooo cant even have Kala playing in my dreams. This is what ve been talking bout for a long time. We need to reinforce our central defence. In case Nesta were not to play, i m hoping Leonardo will play Favalli atleast. Guess he s an inch ahead of Kala.

Well, if we can only find the similarty without comparing the details, huntelaar reminds me of Van Basten.

Basten and Huntelaar made same amount of goals (8 goals) in their new club after moving from Netherland. The difference is Basten made it from 19 games while Klaas from 20 (source: wikipedia).

I will bet that if Hunter is gone to another club and start scoring again, people will just call him a mid club striker instead of BIG time striker.

Really hope Nesta is playing as he is probably the only irreplaceable player in the squad at the moment. Just don't trust Kala, and to whoever said Kala is playing great football, dude, have u even been watching him play over the past 5 yrs?
I pretty much agree. Huntelaar right now is really struggling for playing time and getting some consistency in his game, but he's clearly a talented striker and we've seen this in his small contributions and the quality of his goals so far (including the well taken penalty). The biggest problem for Leo seems that Huntelaar doesn't really have the attributes desired for the system, which requires a forward who will be more involved in the team play than a poacher. I think Inzaghi's mental strength to just constantly keep looking for chances and positional sense is what makes him so good at just coming into the side and being a threat.

Nesta being a doubt is a definite worry, as without him we will struggle. I can only hope Favalli starts if Nesta's out so that the defence has some leadership, which Kaladze doesn't provide and Thiago still needs.

In terms of irreplaceable players right now, I think there are a few in the side right now. Nesta, Thiago and Pirlo I think are the 3 most important for me. Nesta and Thiago are irreplaceable for obvious reasons, but I think Pirlo too as since he's moved up into Seedorf's role he's added a proper balance to the side and is really leading our game with his passes. Seedorf can play the role, but he doesn't add the stability or passing range Pirlo does. Borriello could also be argued as we don't have a proper alternative for him who could do the same role. The biggest issue is these players aren't irreplaceable because they're so good, but because we simply don't have proper alternatives on the bench to do their roles.

Shame to hear Pato's almost certainly out as I think he would have been a threat.

I think it really comes down to the system the team is going to play.
I mean, lets say Hunter costed Milan 40MIl, people will be screaming he is a big bust, but then again the talents are there, it is just the system that not getting it all out from Hunter. Thats also why I don't think Dzeko is the answer, as 1. he will cost over 25mil.
2. From the games I saw him play, the talents are there but I don't think his style are more suitable than having Borriello as CF.
Thats why I think someone like Macarrone-even his build is similar to Borreillo will probably be a better option for Milan than Dzeko. NOt b/c he is more talented but b/c he can be a direct replacement for BOrreillo, does not mind sitting on the bench and will do a fine job when he is call upon.

I cannot disagree more..

The signature: Galliani did say that.
My other favorite one is when in an interview Ballack was asked about a possible move to Inter when he was a free agent after his contract finished with Munich, he replied: Oh, I only want to move to a club with a chance of winning the Champions League.

Read carefully, or polish your English first.

I am not saying that Kala should be in the first-team, neither trying to compare him to Nesta.

Nesta is for sure the best half-back of the team at this moment, followed by Thiago Silva. Who would be the best next choice available, if it is NOT Kala??

Without any doubt Favalli right now ...
He has no speed, but he is tactically smart, doesn't make 3-4 mistakes in each game he plays, etc.

Kaladze isn't that bad, he just lost any piece of confidence by being benched for a long time (but with the way the others perform, no way he can play, so ...) and the mistakes done for his country (and all the bashing following both in Italy and in Georgy) were probably the peak of his bad form.
The best solution, for me, is to lend him to another club where he will be used as a starter, maybe outside Italy, because Kaladze, even if he was never at the level of Nesta, was a very good defender some years ago ... You can't become bad in one day.

I am not sure what u are trying to say. Coz earlier u said he s one of our best defenders. And am not very sure bout that.

To ur second question i would pick Favalli even in my sleep. Not that i m a great fan of favalli but still.

P.S. Nesta is not only the best centre back in the team. He s also the best centre back in the WORLD.

To bad Kaladze lost it,like Geotav said: He was one of the best backups a team could have, playing both on LB and CB.But times changed,it really is incredible of how bad somebody can become....

I mean last season i have seen matches of him being a total mess(against Inter second game)and sometimes being solid with Maldini alongside him....but now it seems he is getting worser by the day, every minute he played he gave away a horrorshow...

I would go with Favalli without any regret. The man with the beard never embarrases himself, even with him as CB we can beat Inter.

But with Sandro Inter will dont stand a chance anyway....
