In our 4-3-3 formation, there is no place for him, except maybe in the position of Seedorf (in a more attacking position)
He failed to become the leader of Lyon when he was played in his real position after Juninho left, and worse, he lost his place in the first team (for Pjanic).

Anyway, if this player was to come in Milan, that could add depth as he is still young (24 I think ?), but would he be useful ?

I'm not sure about the answer ...

From what I have seeing Ederson cant really play as a winger. I think they tryed to do that at Lyon but did not work, then thet switched him and Pjanic for positions, then he lost the position to Pjanic.

I see him as a very good player, he made his name with Nice? but did not light up at Lyon.

Ederson??????????better get krasic IMHO.he's quality is more proven than Ederson.anyone see him in CL againts Wolfsburg &MU?it seems to me that he can perform in the football's biggest stage(clubside offcourse) and i think he can really fit in milan style of play just like Beckham did currently(both are attacking wide player).I also think he can be a long term replacement for Seedorf as they have quite the same quality skillwise(crossing, shooting, scoring goals). his price tag maybe quite high but i don't think we will get Ederson cheap either because O.Lyon never sell their players cheap.Besides,Milan historically did quite well with Balkan players. we used to have Savicevic(a Montenegrin),Boban(a Croat)and why not a Serb and perhaps a Bosnian(Dzeko) in the summer????

Do you know what I think will happen in the summer, Milan will sign Mancini from Inter. Then Mancini will do well and Moratti and JM will say something like, Mancini is at the level of Milan but not INter......

I think what we need now is a winger, a classical fast, good at dribbling and crossing (if not, then shooting).

Beck won't be with us when next season begin. Pato and Dinho can't play everymatch, and I doubt Di Gennaro, Adiyiah or even Abate could play there well enough to forget the present of 7&80.

If our wingers play great, then we do not need WC wing back (all WC wing backs are very good at attacking), just good defensive fullback that can overlap.

Antonini could play like that, because Dinho was always the threat to our opponent. In wing play, if a team is dominating, then other team must defend, so Antonini had the chance to overlap often.

Beck provides other posibility, he can defend for Abate's overlapping.

For GK: Abbiati is back form injury, Storari can be called back, and we even have the chance to renew Dida's contract (if needed, and reduced salary, of course)
CB: If we have Astori and Bonera, next season is OK.
FB: Antonini for starting place, Abate could improve himself; Zam, Janku, Oddo, and Borera for sub.
DM: Ambrosini, Gattuso, Flamini & Janku.
Creative player like Pirlo and Seedorf could play forever .
SC: Borri, and Hunter (he has long contract), Pippo or Paloschi are good enough for 3rd SC. Pato can play SC if a good winger play in the right.

IMHO, a winger is what we need the most for next season.

What do you people think of Mesut Özil from Werder Bremen?
How can he fit in our system? He is not a typical "robot"... he has a little samba in his step.

And who knows, maybe after a Scudetto, a CL, an Italian Cup and a WC (who knows ?! I prefer Antonini to Grosso ...), we will all agree to say that he is a WC fullback.

Who said "in your dreams" ?!
Who the hell know Pancaro before he played for us? He became world class at the ripe old age of 32 and is one of the best LB during his time with us.

Antonini still has time to do what Pancaro did for us. I am quite impressed with his fitness for one. I would think he is 23 if i didn't know better.

Drenthe! He is being wasted at Madrid because they want him to be a defender. WHICH he can be (even though not high quality at the moment) with the right formation and right players around him. But that's a different conversation for a different time.

Anyhow, for our sake he woud be a great back up to Ronaldinho/Pato.

You probably thought that my post was ironical but it wasn't at all ... Winning the Scudetto, the CL, the Italian Cup is all the worse I hope for Antonini and Milan, and being called up by Lippi and why not winning the WC is all the worse I hope for Antonini and Italy ... and becoming a World Class player recognized by every football fan is all the worse I hope for Antonini (and Milan also ) ...

Players like Di Natale, Toni, Grosso, and some other ones are the kind of examples that exist in Italy of players becoming great with experience and/or when given the chance to shine.
