Well, Anderson might have been expensive last year, but he hasn't played. Plus, it seems to be widely acknowledged that Ferguson doesn't like him anymore, and that means that if he came in for around 15-18 million, he could be brought in for cheaper.

The reason I even dare to think about it is that this Mancini transfer might be indicative of what some of us thought would happen if Leonardo would be successful: he gets money. Sure, Mancini wasn't money spent, but, it clearly went against the whole "no more transfers" policy that we apparently had.

Anderson could come in at 10-12 million, maybe even less if Man Utd's debt gets worse, and I have this feeling that if Milan continues our good form, or if we make a serious CL run, you'll see some money coming out way. Anderson is a very unique player in that we have seen that he is capable of playing as a DM, if needed, but clearly he has attacking instincts, but I don't think he has the style to play in Dinho's spot. We have always discussed how unique a player Seedorf is, and when I look at Anderson, I see a player who would be able to combine the attacking and defensive duties that Seedorf has when he plays in the center midfield role.

While I doubt it will happen, I can dream, but, I think if Leonardo and this squad keeps it up, I think (or dream) that he'll finally get the players he wants.

Its pretty much widely reported than Milan Jovanovic is going to Liverpool for the summer. This means we have let go of a 28 year-old, Non-EU player, that's free, and was the best player in the Belgian league. He could have been an alternative to Dinho and Pato.

Does this mean we have our eyes on someone else like Krasic? or does it mean Mancini is going to fix our probs?

my bad, from the videos I got an impression that he was bit taller than that, I assumed atleast 1.8 m, but still his physique does not strike me as a dribbler.

Jovanovic is not good enough for us, not even for the bench. Good thing we wont get him!

Mate, you're talking about 90 M euros investment, at least. Do you really think we have this money to spend? As i can recall, we didn't splash that much for one summer in the last 15 years, though we came close in 1999.

this doesnt make any sense. its easy to list a whole bunch of players. but there seems to be no money. so the MGT has to be VERY creative. your list of players way out of reach. lets hope for maybe 1 of those
or 2, as chamakh is free in the summer...

Yeah, I've heard all sorts of rumours as to why Berlu said what he did. Whatever the case it's left a rather sour taste in my mouth.

Personally, I think we will see more Mancini type of transfer, a player who does not play at the current team with a relatively high wage bill that the current club wants to dumb.

Thus, Milan will come in and then try to loan and buy the player.
Thats the trend going to be for Milan, even if Milan win CL and the League.

It seems that Real also wants to get rid of him. If the latest rumours are true, they want to exchange him with Diego and Chiellini.

That was surely one of the reasons we sold him. His number of games started for us lowered for 25% through the course of the last two seasons. Since he's in Real, it's getting worse and worse.

yeah i've asked this question a couple of pages ago and it seems it was the right decision to sell...and it's true that after his unbeleivable 2007 season, he barely played 3-4 games in a row and never seemed to perform on the highest levels...
i wish him well though

Berlu sold Kaka b/c he wants to cash in, nothing more. I mean, if someone offers MIlan 80mil(since it was 65mil + Hunter(15mil)) for Pato, I am sure Pato will be gone too.
The sale of Kaka had nothing to do with his injury or anything, it was b/c of money.
