no, they shouldn't get Torres, lately he has been getting many injuries and I think age is catching up to him. Liverpool won't sell him for cheap, so don't get him, he is in decline.

Torres is only 25, so I don't think it's got anything to do with age, but yes, he's become quite injury-prone. I don't think we can afford to spend all our money on one player no matter what, and certainly not an injury-prone one. Also I don't get these Vidic rumours. He's a very good player (but more suited for a physical league like the PL), but we don't need a star defender, we need a quality back-up - or two, depending on what happens with Bonera and Astori. If we have Nesta, Thiago and Vidic, how are we going to keep them all happy? We should sign someone younger with a smaller ego than Vidic (not saying he's arrogant or anything, but he'd surely expect to play when fit, as will Nesta and Thiago).

I think Nesta would be okay with playing every second game or 1 in 3 , he knows he needs rest between games.

Guys be serious, would Liverpool EVER sold Torres if everything is OK with him? He became too injury-prone, so they (L'pool) started the story that he will leave if they fail to qualify for CL spot, so they could get more money for him.

Torres is FANTASTIC striker, but he's not useful if he spends half of season on the sidelines.

Also, we could buy Torres earlier and our MGT decided not to do so. Leonardo wants Dzeko and he will get Dzeko. That's it.

You can't assume all other teams are that bad and can't do a proper medical. Don't take the Kaka and similar supposed injury stories that seriously, while there might be some truth to them it's not the norm.

As it relates to keeping them happy... Thiago can play as a DM or WB... he can be used in the middle or even upfront if needs be... Milan has yet to see Thiago's full abilities!!!

Thats why Dzeko will cost us maybe 20-25 mil, and Torres would be about 50 mil !!

But again, Milan "followed" Torres for years, and had made some contacts with Atl. Madrid but we never really an offer.

btw, as someone earlier mentioned, Adiyiah has not been inserted in the Champions League list, this is confirmed by Leonardo on the official site.... turns out the management fked up big time AGAIN with wasting the ever-so-precious Non-EU spot... especially when it seems like we are being linked with so many Non-EU players next summer.

Another good game by Pastore yesterday. The first 3 months in Serie A he kinda sucked but now he's such a classy player and he's not even 21 yet (I think). Shame he plays for Palermo, meaning that we can never sign him.

At first I thought you were right...... however after Leonardo's recent comments it seems that he has been completely excluded.

I also read that Oddo is back to training. I think I am the only one here who wants him to be ready for the Man Utd game. As bad as he has been, this guy really lives up to the big games and he was instrumental against Real Madrid this year and against Man Utd (C.Ronaldo in particular) in the CL before.
