WOW. This is good, but real? Edin-25, Krasic-12, Hernanes-10, Kjaer-12, and Marchetti 6=65.
But what about Abate & Antonini? I think that we should sign Gareth Bale and Mattea Cassani(very good RB, Lippi must play him in first team!).

Plus, he's a Milan fan, wants to play for us, and when was the last time you ever saw a Spanish player come to Serie A and do well?
Also Pandev is Milan fan. ))

Looks like Pato and Nesta face a fitness battle to face utd , if they don't play we don't go through simples. I have to ask though how a wisdom tooth causes a thigh strain and how it can keep a 20 year old who isn't tired out for two months.

Don't really want to burst any of you guys bubbles.
But I think it will take a miracle for Berlu to spend any money on the defense this summer.
As Astori will come back. With him and Bonera, thats the two backup CB.
As for FB. Zambro will stay and I have a feeling DeVito will get the promotion for next year. On top of that, Bonera can fill in as RB and Astori can play LB too. Not to mention Alberterzzi. You add all of them up, Milan defense will be Zambro, Abate, Antonini, De Vito, Bonera, Astori, Nesta, T.Silva and Alberterzzi, a total of 9 defenders.

I think the signings will be in midfield more than anything and probably another striker for the bench, unless Borreillo just stop scoring until the end of the season-which would also means Milan won't be winning much games.

cant we sell ----dida 3,roma 2,storari 3,kaladze 4,seedorf 5,oddo 3,favalli(retired),onyewu 5,jankulovski 5,huntelaar 15,inzaghi 5 --------& get 50 mln euro....from the emirates deal we are sure enough to get at least 15 mln more......so 50+15 = 65 mln PURE MATH LOGIC

thats a good enough defence....but we need that solid depedable CB who can sub nesta, and that too a youngster who will come for not more that 10 mln....i dont count astori as dependable.....so who else??? kjaer, santacroce, mexes, agger---------or perhaps B&G will wait 4 years for Cristian Maldini to fill in the famous No.3

Revolver, Torres is allready a much better player than Shevchenko ever was, Torres set the EPL on fire, Shevchenko was the EPLs biggest flop. I like Shevchenko, but Torres is a much better player overall. Torres is much better than Dzeko, Torres has finesse and can score goals with his eyes closed, Dzeko has a good shot but he comes across as a bit of a big lumbering foward.

Again people trying to value players ... K7r and Macedonian, what you both did is pure fantasy !!

For example, Inzaghi sold for 5M ?! His contract is going to be expired this summer, so he can leave for 0€ ...

Macedonian under-valued the players he wants us to buy, and K7r over-valued the ones from Milan he wants to sell ... of course, then, it's easy to reach the balance !!
The fact is that these few players to buy will cost a lot more than all the ones we could sell, which means that we need Berlusconi or whoever to spend some money this summer.

Also, selling most of our players (the ones from the bench) to buy 3-4 other ones (potentially starters) is going to destroy us for Serie A as we will have even less depth as we have nowadays (and we all know we almost have no depth !!).

Being realistic in this market you would get at most .

Dida 500,000. Hes too old to pay any more.

Janku 2 million thats all he is worth.

Oddo 1 million

Kaladze 2.5 million.

Roma 0

Onyewu 2 million .

Huntelaar 10 million. He has been bad this season , not really his fault he has not got a proper run.

Inzaghi 0.

Seedorf 2 million.

That would mean losing 9 players and getting 20 million if even that , still not enough for Dzeko , Hernanes , Krasic or anyone else we would like .
We are fairly screwed financially and if people think Berlusconi will spend 30 - 40 million are mad. He moaned about signing Mancini he was free so who thinks he will spend money.

Please, read this thread more often. I said a few pages ago that Torres is a great striker, after Drogba the best in the world in the last few years, and that Dzeko is not as good as him. But then, I read some crap like "Dzeko will never be as half as good as Torres", and that made me react the way I reacted. Who the **** is Torres? The player of his qualities wouldn't be in top 5 of best strikers 10 years ago, and someone DARES to say that a great talent like Dzeko doesn't have potential to be half as good as Torres.

And great post, Samaldinho...

honestly...both of you are very biased, especially Revolver towards his compatriot Dzeko. Revolver has been extremely biased towards him since we have been linked with him last summer. He is good, and he is who I want next summer, but comon, he ain't world-class yet.

And torres....he is a very good player when fit, and consistent. But thats it, a very good player. His problem is he is way too injury prone and that dented his career..he probably could have been great....but he didn't yet.

out of the two, I would most definitely pick Dzeko....but I wouldn't expect him to score 20 goals each season that's for sure.

I agree that he's not world-class still, but he'll be.

I'm biased about Dzeko, yes, but not just because he's my compatriot, but because I was talented footballer when I was young (like many people here in my/our town), but I chose school over football, because unfortunately for many reasons, I know how hard is too succeed in the "business" when you're starting from here. From that perspective, Dzeko is surely something special.

I will try to make Dzeko's "way to stars" in he's thread in the next few days, because I don't have the time to write essays right now, so it will be much clearer what I want to indicate by saying all this...
