you could say a star striker is only as good as the team around him? Sheva had everything for a striker but he also had support and real quality around him.

ok... Bijon go and ask Drogba, Torres and Rooney if they think ther are good as Sheva in his prime or will ever be as agood as shev before they retire... also ask them if the would want to be as good as Sheva!!!

apparently we are 1000% out of the race for Dzeko he costs too much 40 million (which is true) a shame really , but it shows we have no plans to make the squad stronger not because we won't play 40 million but because we could negotiate and they would take Huntelaar because the are not going to sign Torres , Rooney , Villa , Pato etc.

It just shows a lake a motive on Milans part because they don't even want to try.I saw it on goal.crap but it was also on the sports channels here eurosport and espn. Again Pirlo , Seedorf , Ambro , Rino , Zambro until they are 37 , they have been great except Zambro . But this team had its day and it was fantastic but it ended 3 years ago in 2007 .

I don't understand why the Dzeko thing would show lack of Motivation from our part? Regardless, it's media speculation, nobody's gonna pay that kind of money for Dzeko except maybe Manchester City who are crazy, but Dzeko said he doesn't wanna go there.

Speaking of City, I like the Robinho rumours, although it sounds crazy that City would want Huntelaar, not because he's bad, but because they've bought 4-5 (?) strikers in the last 18 months. In any case, I would expect Galliani to monitor the situation, when a player like Robinho is unhappy then we know that Galliani is watching

Lack of motivation in the way of saying 40 million we cant afford that , when if Wolfsburg sell Dzeko they are not going to get a high profile striker to go there (mid table German side) Huntelaar is as good as it would get for them. So maybe 20 million + Huntelaar would do , it's just too easy to go oh god we don't have enough when there is options.

A question for all on here how you all react if in the summer we sign no one except take Astori back and sign a free player who is out of contract but not exactly great. I can see this happening I mean Leo know's what we need and Galliani will ask but Berlusconi won't go for it. Just wondering because it is not outside the realm of possibility that next year and the one after we have the same team.

I would rather go for Fabiano than spend 40mil on Dzeko

How can you say that? We negotiated with Wolfsburg the entire summer, there was even a photo of him and Galliani in a resturant. There's then been rumours and 'reports' flying around for 6 months now about this and that, how can you say we lack motivation? Besides 20M + Huntelaar is WAY overpriced.

Yeah well most good players are overpriced 40 million is too much , and I saw no picture of him and Galliani just rumours like Fabiano , Hernanes , Krasic , Vidic and countless others its all rumours when it comes to Milan nowadays no action , they offered well under Seville's valuation for Fabiano (he too isnt worth 18 million not at 29) knowing it would be turned down , signed Onyewu because he was free got Cissokho and then made up an injury when it came time to pay he has played 26 games for Lyon in all competition. It all ads up to doing nothing , Mancini I hope turns out to be good but he hasn't played well for almost 2 years , if it isn't free or cheap then Milan don't make a genuine effort .

If you don't agree with me which you don't thats cool Im just really frustrated with the mgt's fuk ups in the last 3 year's it was clear that the 2007 Champions League victory was a last hooray for a great great team , but hear we are 3 years later with practically the same squad only Pato , Abate and Silva + Antonini are the changes. Borriello was there in 2007 and Huntelaar and Flamini just don't play. We have a 26 man squad 14 or 15 that over 30 and 5 or 6 that never play. So as much as I try to be optimistic it is hard.

I don't know about you guys but i will still supporting Milan even if Berlu don't sign anyone next season and the season after but come on........don't be so negative guys.This season it's not bad at all.it's true that this Milan teams isn't as strong as it used to be but it's part of cycle i guess.I read many comments from the so called true Milanista said this Milan is the worst they ever seen.well, for those who wrote that must be lucky because they certainly don't watch Milan in 96-97 and 97-98(finish 11th &12th respectively).That's was the worst Milan i ever seen trust me!!!!!!.in those season Milan got the star studded players like Weah,Baggio,Maldini,Albertini,Billy,Savicevic,Boban,Desailly not to mention the " new dutch trio" of Kluivert Davids and Bogarde and certain mr Leonardo

Ive been watching Milan since 1990 and its not the worst ive seen , but it is the worst period for the structure of the club. Alot of young players wer signed and if 6 of them come true to be great with maybe 3 being world class that would be fantastic but thats a long shot.

I too will be following Milan for life seeing as you implied that some will not be by your first line. But the future looks odd its all down to Berlusconi and no one else. While Berlusconi brought a great era to the club which I am grateful for he is now doing a good job at making the club become a second rate team.
