Some months ago, for Gignac, I said "let's wait if he confirms his excellent last year ...". Nowadays, I would maybe say "no" for him. It looks like Domenech managed to "burn" a new player by using him in important games with the French NT whereas he has no experience of the international level.

About Benzema, I never wanted this player for several reasons, and the fact that he doesn't manage to be as good as in Lyon (anyway, his current season is the same as his last one in Lyon, disappointing, it's just that in Real, if you're not good, there are other players able to replace you, that wasn't the case in Lyon) won't change my mind.

So nowadays, I would say no for any French striker. It's the position where there are the most promising players in the country, but it's also the position where in France there have been the most "next big thing becoming nothing" (along with the attacking midfielders).

Mate, Hulk is a huge no-no. As he is not a good striker, and never will be one. Don't let his name fools you.

TO me, depending on how Borreillo performs for the rest of the season. If he can net over 15 goals, he is good enough for Milan. Add another striker off the bench that plays like him is good enough, someone like Maccarone.

The reason i said that is b/c due to the system that Milan currently deploy. I think there might only be 2 strikers in the world that could do well-Drogba and Ibra. Not taking anything away from Villa, Torres, Dzeko, Rooney or others, it is just that their style of play won't suit the current Milan tactics.

I don't know Hulk enough to judge him, but from what others on the forum say (Gabriel, I think Brasiliero also said something abouth this player), it looks like he isn't a possible choice for our team ...

I don't know ... We could end up with only Paloschi coming back (to replace Inzaghi if he really leaves). I think Dzeko coming is only possible if Borriello or Huntelaar leaves, and regarding on the performances, today, it would be Huntelaar who would have to leave (that can still change, but Borriello won't leave for sure, and personnally, I don't want him to leave).

What other realistic target is there in the market except Dzeko ? Hard to say, because the likes of Torres (too expensive), Villa (could leave cheaply Valencia but the guy really loves his club I think because he would have already left if that wasn't the case + if he leaves, we will have Real and Barcelona in competition with us which would make his price rising), or Aguero (it's written Chelsea all over him) for example seem untouchable for us.

Maybe Zarate if we look for once the players already in Serie A ? Unfortunately the guy said his dream is to play in the EPL ... but who never tries, never gets anything !!

I think Zarate, Pastore, Cavani should be look at if we can't get Dzeko.

If we got decent options on wings we could switch to 442, but not with r80 at club and scrooge in charge deciding everything.

I think Milan are not out of the race to sign Dzeko, these are just rumours like everything else these days. The price won't be 40 million, it's just the usual haggling going on outside the transfer windows.

Rumours saying that Leonardo can be sacked in the summer and be replaced by Juande Ramos or Rafa Benitez? I don't know. Probably just papertalk though. But maybe Benitez could help us get Torres? Or maybe not...

Anyway, mixing partyboy Benzema with partyboy Ronaldinho could only hurt the team, right?

The thing with Dzeko is that Milan is not the only team who is going after him.
As far as I know, ManU is really tracking him too.
Hunter + 15 or 20mil might seems much but a Berba + 15 mil is something that ManU will be willing to offer. Pls don't say ManU does not have money......they are in debt......and that Berba sucks.....The point is that Milan is not the only team going after Dzeko and if Galli and Berlu continue to try to low ball other teams, it wont work.

I also wouldnt mind getting Krasic and play pato in his best position, as a central striker!

Central striker might be Pato's best position, but that's not the best position for the team. Milan needs a big physical CF that can help create space and offense for others. Pato is a great player, but he does not have the physique to handle that role. Ibrahimovic would be perfect, but Dzeko would do pretty well too.

As far as this whole Dzeko saga, I think we as a team needs to figure out what we are truly looking for this summer. If we deem that Dzeko truly is the one player we need and there is no other alternative, then we have to pay for whatever it takes to get him. Sure, 40 mil sounds too much, but for the right player that can take our team to the next level, it is worth it. Couple of years ago, we felt Ibrahimovic was too expensive for his price tag, and we all know how that one worked out in the end. If, on the other hand, we don't think Dzeko is the player that is essential to our future success, then stop wasting everybody's time and go for the player who is that Mr. Right.

Reports say that Krasic and Jovanic have already agreed personal terms with Liverpool....but just as how we read that they have agreed terms with Milan a few months ago, this could just be a hoax. I really hope we don't let this opportunity to sign Krasic pass.

I hope they can wake up tonight to beat Inter and I also like Guidolin, he's a smart coach and Mourinho will have a tough time trying to crack him. Check out for Bibiyani (who is owned by Inter) and Paloschi returns to the squad too.

- Aston Villa x Man Utd -- not many teams can beat Villa at their own park..it will be very interesting to see how Man Utd play as our game against them is less than a week away. I think they will play against them the same way they will play against us. BTW, does anyone know if Man Utd have another game this weekend?

Also hope it isn't true about Krasic. The Jovanovic to Liverpool deal seems pretty official though and that's ok because we didn't need him.
