^^ I wouldn't say match-fixing but I was quite upset that Samp had many opportunities to attack Inter, especially at the end of the game, but were content to pass the ball around midfield then try a useless cross aimed at no one in particular. I began to wonder whether they had any intention of winning that game.

Yea, that looked very weird.

But it could be down to a couple of other things . The players either didn't follow Del Neri's instructions.....or that was some terrible coaching by him.

First, they tried to play with crosses the whole time. The problem with that is that you are playing to Inter's strength since they had numbers in the box. Inter had 4-5 at times 6 players in the box defending before the cross even came in while Sampdoria had 4 at the most. So why play where they have numbers, instead of playing where they don't (the midfield) and move the ball around quickly.

Also, if you are going to play with crosses then at least try to get to the by-line and cross and not 30m from it because those balls are going straight to the defenders and are so easy to clear.

On top of that Samp didn't even had a decent shot on goal. So all this crap that Jose "the monkey clown" Mourinho is saying that Inter did so well is really ridiculous because Sampdoria just played the worst 45 minutes of football with 2 men up I have ever seen.
So yes.......they either fixed the game or Del Neri is responsible for the worst piece of coaching I have seen in a long time.

Sorry for the off-topic. I'm just still pissed off that Inter got away with a point yesterday.

Anyhow, it let's us get another 2 points back from Inter so we have to win this game today.

I think that the fact that Cassano is injured is one of the causes of this pathetic game by Sampdoria ...
Pazzini was useless, but once he got his red card, his team didn't try to attack anymore, and they even didn't try to make us think that they wanted to score ...

Italia and Brazil, two nations with the most WCs (mean World Cup ^^). They have the winning attitude in DNA

Pato has to play with his back to goal all the time and its not good for him , he needs to be running on balls not trapping it with his back to goal.
