If we go a step further and only look at him in Italy, the goals to minutes ratio goes down to 1 goal every 99 minutes, which is pretty close to a goal a game.

Given that he doesn't play consistently and has obviously struggled, I think his stats are actually very impressive.

Yeah, I got my math wrong... That's true, but I still think Huntelaars stats are distorted. He's usually thrown in when we're playing gung ho and throwing the kitchen sink. We're more likely to score then and he's at the head of the attack. I bet that if he started every game, his ratio would decrease, as he'd be spending more time defending, waiting, etc; rather than being active in those hectic last minutes.

His numbers are still impressive and I wish he played more.

Hernanes and Sissoko are strong players and would be ideal midfield...

sell Flamini and get rid of his high salaries,5.1 m euros a year i think.its too high for a player who always sits on the bench...3rd choice on the bench as well after Beckham and Gattuso...we are not that rich guys...

I doubt we will sell Flamini, and I doubt that is a good move. We can't get a DM of his qualities for less than 20 M, if there's one available for us.

Also, I doubt we will buy any of the two you mentioned. I didn't heard that Sissoko is even linked with us. Hernanes will not come for under 20 M (actually Sao Paolo are persistent asking 25).

Or you could say that he comes on when the game is wrapped up and we have no motivation to attack anymore. He therefore gets fewer chances than the strikers who have been on the field for a longer period of time and makes it more difficult for him to score.

Yes you are right. Most the time its bs finish off the game times he plays and i dont know if im the only one but when Pato was making that run he was about to give a pass to H11 before he pullled his muscle and that was going to be a very high % chance if H11 got that ball.

That's fair enough. I still think shots/goals is a better indicator of a strikers effectiveness. Let me see if I can find the data.

in 81 games started scored 40 goals...thats ratio of a goal every second game.
Thats not bad at all..actually its really good ratio.

But stats are stats,nothing more...the truth is that Hunter is still not fully adapted in Leo`s system. You can see he is getting very comfortable as time passes..so give it a rest, He is starting to get his fair share of playing time. Its not like Borriello has been terrible..he has been great too.

We've been linked to Piazon Lucas of Sao Paulo (its on milannews). He's apparently just like Kaka.

And the ratio says a lot to me. And I hope Leo can figure other options to play two strikers
