From what I have heard, Flamini will be given the chance to prove himself for the rest of the season.... I am guessing Hunterlaar as well, as so so MGT can make an informed decision if they want to keep him or not by season's end...

I agree with this a lot. Im a fan of H11 but if he gets more chances and just cant do anything with them, ill be with all the rest that want to trade him. But without a chance he leaves and he becomes great somewhere else it will piss me off

If we went on a shopping spree, yes i would not mind we get this guy. But i ask you this you have 40 million that we can spend this summer and you think a striker is the most important thing to spend it on?

in this game, maybe Leo can introduce aidiyah, somewhere in the 2nd half, this kid is so motivated to play and has been training with the first team (am I correct?) , just in case we are not able find the back of the net by half time,

some element of surprise as well as more speed upfront .. just my 2c

This is the no Nesta for the rest of the year line up.

We should have bought Defender last year. Nesta is too old, he cannot fight every match. KK should be retired too.
We should have bought Sneijer last year instead of Hunter, We made the wrong decision. Without Sneijer, Inter is a mess. We have some midfield players already, but I don't expect Pirlo and Seedorf may play every game.
Sneijer is a player with offense and defense both.

Our major problem is $$$$$$$$$$$$. How much we would like to spend???

ACM needs to restructure if we want to win Champion League.

If defense is the top priority, then who is/are the one(s) can really take us to new level (or to replace injured Nesta)? How much will he/they cost?

IMO, Dzeko is the most clear case, we already know his abilites (which are rare) and price.

Hernanes is different because his position as box to box attacking midfielder has many other options, such as: Montolivo, Hamsik, Van der Vaart,...

I can't think of a WC defender to replace Nesta that we can buy. Bonucci or Ranocchia have just one good season (how many seasons Nesta played before he was regard as one of the best), they are only hot prospect. Noway MU will sell Vidic. We must be Man City (or Chelsea some years ago) to buy top players from top teams.

I support Dzeko's transfer because of the clarity.

Buying Sneijder to replace Kaka' ... that would have been the worst decision ... The only way to accept a sale of Kaka' was, for me, a change of formation. And Sneijder actually seems to fail to regularly perform well despite his talent (except in 4-5 games this season, he's not that decisive for them, he's important as he's the only creative midfielder they have, but he's not that decisive), and it's why he has never been a WC player.

We are talking about buying gee let me see , def Pique , Garay , Maicon , Evra ,Bonucci midfielders oh Fabregas , Inesta , Krasic , Hernanes , forwards Messi and Dzeko we should be okay then maybe the quarters of cl and 2nd in serie a.

Seriously I find it hard to imagine who we will sign as there is no $$$ but Im hoping Berlu goes mad and spends loads (now im dreaming again) but I suspect that Kala , Oddo , Favalli will leave and Darmian Diniz Astori will come back from loan co ownership deals , that Adiyiah will will be promoted to first team and maybe Paloschi then we will be told 3 old players left and 5 young world class players came in the squad is great yadda yadda yadda , I can't see Dzeko , Krasic etc arriving until they do ofcourse but we don't spend big like that anymore so they will be no huge difference next year I imagine.

As for tonight we should win easilly enough but who knows ho low confidence is after wed.

I echo your thoughts. Adiyiah cant be no worse at playing on the wing than Hunter or Borri is or Abate for that matter!!, can he? also for the 5 mins i saw him in the ACON final he looks as though he could actually be faster than Pato i mean like Obafemi Martins fast.

A good squad is not built overnight, nor in one summer (unless you spend huge amounts of money, look at Real Madrid failed) a good squad is build over the years by replacing players as needed or adding more quality to the squad, usually two or three quality signings per summer and in next few years you build a good squad ofcourse also depending on the players that you buy,butI think Inter did a great job of doing that, right now they have one of the strongest squad in World. But you have to look at players they bought and age. Example Mariga is 23, Snijder 25, Muntari 25, Maicon came when he was 23 this is just a few.

I've been absent for a few weeks (months maybe) due to a new role at work that has seen me being extremely busy.

There was also a feeling that when I didn't post before a match, that we would win it....but both Man U embarrassments proved that suspicion wrong.

This is an extremely important game for us today, and one that I am anxious about, as we are down to our 2nd string defense, with both Bonera and Nesta out....any ideas as to who we will start with to partner Thiago?

I read the headlines of the Gazzetto (I think) and they see Seedorf and Inzaghi starting....which for me is a recipe for disaster....do we have any word on official lineups?

I remain quite humiliated @ our UCL debacle, and hope we can, at the very least, take 2nd place in the Serie A....
