Bear in mind Yepes if he comes will most likely take Favalli's spot, meaning he wouldn't be seen as a primary backup to the first team. We are going to lose at least 3 defenders in the summer (Favalli, Kaladze and Janku as I mentioned in my post yesterday) so getting Yepes makes some sense.

I'd love to see Bonucci at Milan as he has the potential to do well and would probably accept a backup role.

In other news, I don't understand why Sacchi compliments Mourinho everytime he talks about him. Sacchi's someone I respect a lot but his comments about Mourinho are too much. To say Mourinho has changed Italian football by attacking opponents is ridiculous as clearly a number of coaches in Italy look to play attacking football (e.g. Leonardo, Allegri, Gasperini, Mazzari, Prandelli and before he left Roma, Spalletti)

Our team is not good enough to focus on replacing backup-players with new backup-players. We should sign new players who will make the ones we have fighting for their places, and maybe even make THEM backup-players.

What will our youngsters think about staying at our club if they never get the change to even figure as backup?

Enough with the nonsense, cheap, old players who will play 3 matches all season. It's not what we need!

I really can't agree with that, you can argue that he was brilliant, WC, or whatever else last season, but the only adjective to describe Gourcuff Season 2009-2010 is "unconsistent", and it's since the start of the season. What happened since the Winter break is that he became consistent, but not with good performances ... but I expect this game against Olympiakos to really launch his season.

7.5 mil euro for half of Astori's contract is too much, it's only news from side who wants to raise the player's price. Even 5 mil euros is still too much.

We all know price papers wrote in their news in many occasions were far higher than the player's actual price.

If Caliagri wants that price, just let them sign Astori. It's easy to find and buy a player with Astori's level and the news' price. So, co-ownership is not only about Milan but also about Caliagri. If the player's price increases from its previous price, it's bad and good news for both clubs (Milan and Caliagri) NOT ONLY Milan.

Actually, Milan and Cagliari just care about the amount of money the other club want to pay for Astori, nothing else.
They will probably negotiate, one of the clubs will have the player for free or almost, but there will be another player included in that negotiation.

It could be (examples):
- Astori in Milan for free, Kaladze going to Cagliari (if I say "for free", is it shocking ? )
- Astori in Cagliari for free, Marchetti or another player for a small amount of money (for example, if they agree to sell Marchetti for 7M, we give them our half of Astori, with negotiations, both clubs will agree that this half is valued at about 5M, we'll pay then 2M to get Marchetti)

This kind of deal is likely to happen as, from what say newspapers, Milan and Cagliari have a good relationship ...

PS: I don't know where they found this 15M price ...

Juve won first leg 3-1 and then scored an early goal tonight and still couldn't keep up. I believe we will only see 3 italian teams in CL very soon. I have been having problems accepting the thrashing by Man U but now Fulham over Juve? Damn it.

I watched the game and this red card wasn't deserved ... at best there was a foul, but the referee whistled the foul + the red card (really, it wasn't deserved). Zebina got a red card too at the 90th, stupid guy.

Anyway, I want a player ... his name, if translated in English, becomes "Weird", but he's not weird, he's just a genious of football: Eden Hazard !! I already said it, but I want to say it again and again until Berlusconi sees on Google that when you type Milan, Hazard is associated !!

This guy would really be perfect for us and would give us many options: he can play in our three attacking positions !!

Also 16yo anderlecht striker Lukaku scored again, against HSV this time! 45mins played so far. We were linked with him some time ago. this is his 4th european goal now, he also has 14league goals.
