We can't always blame the line-up. The team showed that they can win the match before Bori's goal but after that the team played very bad. I don't think this is more about line-up (I agree the line-up have influence in it) but it is more about how we were playing.

Milan should look for another goal after goal from Bori. They look another goal in the second half, NOT EVEN after goal that made the result to 1-1. Strange!

We totally dominated the second half ... we missed two 100% chances, yeah, and Borri missed a difficult chance (why didn't he try his famous bicyle ?! Seems the only way for him to score "easy" goals ... ).

I will never understand some of you ...
Our team made a very good second half (with the players we had), some players stepped up comparing to the first half, we deserved the win and could have won if Antonini had been a bit more lucky or Abate a bit less stupid. I really thought we would make a terrible game, like in Italian Cup, but we played quite well and they showed they wanted to win this one.

So with the come-back of the creative players who will have to show the same will, we could do a fabulous last run in this season ...

Leo should keep this formation: Ronaldinho on the left like Seedorf did, Pato forward when he'll come back, Flamini/Ambro with Pirlo in midfield, and Abate or Flamini on the right side. And like Beckham should be back in one week (didn't you read the funny report ?! ), he will be able to take place on the right too ...
If you put it that way, Lazio could have scored too if they'd been more lucky! No point trying to make excuses for the team: They dropped points not because the creative players were absent but because they didn't put in the required amount of effort!

The way things are going, that shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, kind of second half play we should do in the first half. Not thinking that the game was over after one goal we made.

Geo not one clear cut chance was created and there was only a bit of fight from some players sure they want to win but they are not good enough , if you think that was a good second half performance with only 2 half chances then fair enough but I don't we'll agree to disagree.

If a man (Leonardo) trusts you more than his wife, then you (Borriello) got to score those kind of chances, after all his the the Van Basten of Leonardo's revolutionary system

The only good thing about today's game is that we're still only 1 game away from Inter. i.e. one Inter loss and one Milan win and we're tied once again. We just need to start winning our games because we can't expect Inter to be giving us any more gifts.

I'm not glad for saying this, but I told you... And I still see some people think we can win it. GOD!

I read "with creative players back"... WHICH players?! I can believe that some people here don't see (or don't want to see) that our team is gone for the season, their legs are gone. We're counting on Ronaldinho who started 33 games this season (39 played in total) and he didn't started more than 20 games a season since 2006/2007. Or 30 years old Pirlo who played 37 games this season. What do we expect from him?! To play 50 games like he's 24?!

But, you're right, it's not over yet, Palermo is at -9 now, if they beat us there goes CL place

We can blame crap tactics, Boriello, tough luck etc etc, all we like from now till eternity, and it won't change a thing: two points dropped is 2 pts dropped. OC and geo, pls start the new thread. Let the season end already!

For sure. We're blaming luck now, but it seems that we're not lucky enough for Inter losing points and points.

I think after the goal, we were a bit relax. It is normal to feel so. Leo or Ambro should warn the team to concentrate at that point, but after that Leo did shout the team, not so calm like usual. A good sign, IMO.

However, we did fight hard in second half. Antonini & Silva were the men, but others worked hard, too. Anto, Abate,... lack the skills. Pippo, Seedorf,... lack the speed & power of youth.

We TOTALLY DOMINATED in the 2nd half? We played VERY GOOD in the 2nd half? Oh come on Geo, you can be charged for using the superlative words like that.

We had more possession, yes. But that's just it. If Antonini was less stupid? Heck, what if Dias WAS less stupid? It's ridiculous to cop out with these if-onlys.

Okay, without Dinho and Pirlo we're expected to be less creative. Some players step up their performances? Haha! Knowing the stake of not winning this game esp. after losing against Parma (with those two mentioned above played), well they'd better be! If stepping up performances means a mediocre game like this then, ouch! bye-bye scudetto.

You always come up with good statistics. Really appreciate that, buddy. But let's face it, another vital points gone. It's the 2nd consecutive times we had all the reasons in the world to play like hell, and we blew it.

And what happens twice, will happen again for the 3rd time
