Funny thing is that, if Leo actually manages to win the league and B & G refuse to invest, I reckon Real might be knocking on Leo's door. Imagine that.
It's not hard to imagine at all. Leo has shown his talent by managing Milan to this current level with his available resources. Maybe Real Madrid has been knocking at his door already, you never know. Not to forget that Leo's all attack style seems to fit Real's bill very well.

Having watched Milan for more than 20 years, Milan has never been an "out" club. Summer had always been pleasant for the fans until 2006. I don't know who ruined it, Shevchenko or Berlusconi?

Actually, if I had to put myself in a coaches position, I would prefer to work with the set of players Liverpool have than what we have atm. They have Torres, better than any forward we have. They have Gerrard, miles ahead of any of our defenders. They only lack a decent defence. Their gk is also better than ours.

lets see, top team from players from both clubs

Reina

G Johnson Nesta Silva Antonini\insua

Maascherano Gerrard

Pirlo

Pato Dinho
Torres

But the EPL is a lot more competitive than Serie A at the moment.

I don't think that EPL is really more competitive: the top 3 are seperated by 4 pts in EPL, and 3 pts in serie a, the gap btw 3rd and 4th is considerable, but 4 teams have a realistic shot at clinching that last CL spot in both leagues. So i'd say the level of COMPETITION is quite even. In every other aspect, EPL is superior to Serie A.

Because
1. Leo known which player has talent and how to use him. Only Kala & Hunter failed to perform. Forget Kala, Hunter has language problem, so he did not understand teammate well. I think that was the reason Real did not use him frequently, he scored more in Spain because of the football style there. Find him a good italian tutor and all things will be solved.

2. He need more control. He has not only coaching certificate but also management, was a world class player and know how & what to speak.

I can't imagine Leo working for Juve, although he is far better than Ferrara & Zac

In Real he will not have enough power to do what he want.

The job Manager in England suits him the most because Ferguson, Wenger,... can decide transfer's move. MU, Chel, Arse has their coaches, other teams don't attract him. Liverpool has a good squad and respectable history, but they were bad at transfer market and there are many underperfrom players. Leo can help.

However, Brazil NT is the most possible.

I don't think Pool got a lot of underperformer, rather, I think they have a whole bunch of over-rated players and good players.

They don't have any strikers other than Torres, at least Milan still have guys like Borri, Hunter and Pippo, who do Pool have? Ngog and Babel?

Gerrard is in decline, he is no longer Cap Miracle. Then u have guys like Lucas and Aqualaini, they are not bad players but not great either. Mas is an awesome DM, but if Flamini is to play more often, they are about the same.

Point is that Pool is in worse shape than Milan as the EPL got more teams to challenge for CL spots than Serie A.

Leo might not have complete control over transfer in Real than Pool, but at least he got a GM/Pres that is going to get him great players every summer. Imagine what Leo can do to a team like Real who are full of underperforming players-Kaka, Diarra, Gago, Benzema, Garay, and to some extend C. Ronaldo.

C Ronaldo is tearing every team in Spain a new one, how is he underperforming? He has scored 24 goals in 26 appearances, what does a guy have to do to not be considered an underachiever?

I thought Garay has been a bit of a revelation for them, he has done a good job deputizing for the injured Pepe.

IMO, promising player without right guiding and determination & professionalism will become over-rated.

I think coach with strong character & great achievement like Capello or Mourinho suit Real more. The guarantee must be as high as possible

Leo can work with limited resource and still help the team achieve more than expected. So team with tradition and hopeless like Pool or Juve need him the most.

That was my thinking.

Real or Pool are just for fun. The best case is Leo remains and have a GM/Pres like in the bold text and win many

We did not get good result in the last 3 matches, but I believe in him more because he is more and more active to find a solution.

I think transfer played a major part in the decreasing of Pool after 2005.

They play with one CF upfront so no need of many subs, but at least a quality one. If they have only Ngog, that's transfer fault. Gerrard does not have a good sub, too, and this is not first season of Benitez.

Watch this:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...ers-reign.html

About 40M pounds / season for 6 seasons and a squad still lacking of depth???

Anyhow, I think this last page pretty much sums up what we all are expecting from B & G this summer, a big flat ZERO

I think Berlusconi will spend

However, believe in him or not, waiting is boring. Other teams have bigger problem than us. Benitez & Secco make Galliani looks like a genius

Yeah I can't see too much just yepes another oldy another oldy and a young nobody from africa or south america or papua new guniea just so they can say that there was no non eu spot for Dzeko or Hernanes , thats a bit harsh but you see what I mean Leo really is looking frustrated he know's there will be no real budget or any budget .

Im expecting Yepes , Astoro , Diniz , an old midfielder 30 + and nothing else to come in.
Favalli , Janku definately gone but Oddo and Kala will still be under contract will they , unless there out of contract I see them remaining , and Maybe Leo will leave because I think Berlu is afraid of him in public and his no nonsense attitude.

So if Leo left a no mark would be appointed a yes man someone to not question anytging but also someone that is a bad coach motivater and just a figure...then the team will go down the toilet.

Our young players are they any good because after 3 months and supposedly being good Adiyiah can't even get on the bench Zigoni at 19 looks very slow and are Verdi Romagnoli or any others ready to step up I don't think so because Leo likes youth and if they were good they would get some sort of a run or at least 20 minutes...Leo is holding things together he is a good coach and will only get better but it will it be in Milan.

That's goal.com type of bullsh.t. It has to be said: C. Ronaldo is most effective player in the world right now. And not just right now, but in the past 2 or 3 years. They can say whatever they want, but the player who'll score 30-35 goals a season, season after season, is something special.

Indeed agreed he is special and really looks like he is enjoying himself , the last year at man u he was playing the same but he looks happier now.

For us though I know people say things like we will spend in the summer but really what we need won't happen you can only go on what you know and while change can happen I'll wait until it does until then we just have to make do with what we have , but creating nothing except half chances against Lazio was not good enough even missing players there shoild of been at least 1 well played move but there wasn't.
I don't know what happened to Huntelaar but Pippo is awful and has no business in the team now , Borriello is an awkward carthorse as of late and Ambro and Flamini are good but there is no need for 2 dm whaen going for the title and playing against a out of form team.
Abate is fast full of energy but how can a proffesional footballer not make one good cross not one.Dinho was badly missed as is Pato and Nesta and Abbiatti but we should still of been able to beat Lazio at home if we want the title , thing is the dept in the squad is so bad now and very slow to get forward allows the opposition the mark up easily.
