yesh Torres definately will cost more should he no will he hell yeah!!!

We've been heavily linked to Lukaku today with a figure of around 15m being mentioned. However, if he comes that pretty much means no Dzeko or Torres (I doubt he's a realistic possibility). I have mixed feelings about this, as Lukaku looks like a great prospect for the future, but we are in desperate need to get someone for present.

Also, Dida has apparently spoken to Liverpool about going to them for next season.

This sum of 3.2 mil seems like a mutual agreement btw the two parties.

Always take in consideration that if we have him next year we would have to give him 4 mil plus bonuses which for a team like milan should be around 1-2 mil.

On top of that his salary, there is tax, which is almost 50%. Thus if Kala is making 3.2mil a year, the amount on the book for Milan is about 6mil. In a way, Milan is cutting ties with Kala and saving bonuses and taxes.

First Kala and now Dida. Man, this is turning out to be a great season for Milan. As long as the rest of the Frightful five-Oddo, Janku and Seedorf, are gone. Even if Milan did not make it to CL, I would call it a success. Hahahaha

From what i have gathered about Torres is he is a loyal sort of guy so as the only Atletico Madrid fan in his school class and a former player and captain i cant see him joining there most hated rivals Madrid,same for Barca i cant see him playing for Barca with Ibra on the books i cant see him been too happy about been a bench warmer, Man United rivals of Liverpool again i can see him been loyal to the liverpool fans, same for chelsea. Italy is the only country left where he has no ties and he has said before he would like to play for Milan unless that was paper talk before he joined Liverpool.

I know Sun isn't a great source, but if we sign players of Torres caliber, then we are back in business.

From what I heard about Torres. He was fighting it out between ManU and Pool before he joined Pool. And the only reason he choose Pool over ManU at that time was mainly RB and the other Spanish players-Xabi, Reina, Aureolla(can't spell his name). If RB is to leave Pool(very likely), and Pool can't make it into CL(again very likely). He is as good as gone, most likely to a team he knows he has a good chance of winning. Another point to remember is that Pool is own by an American owner and they could careless about local rivalry as long as the price is right.

Don't get me wrong, I will wet myself if Torres come to Milan and partner Pato, but truth is that I doubt Milan will splash a good 50mil on Torres but I can see ManU, Chelsea and ManCity doing so.

Considering the reality of our latest transfers, I will wet myself if we sign any 20+ million player

its all good an well Livepool accepting the offer for him but they cant force Torres to sign the contract, players can fold deals themseleves if they wish, look at Suazo with us a few summers ago.

Torres please really does anyone think he will be playing for Milan , I know he won't we dont have the funds or the willingness to sign guy's like Torres Fabregas Dzeko hell we couldnt even sign Aly Cissokho , I honestly believe if Berlu was told 50 Million and you can have Torres , Fabregas , Hernanes , Evra , Vidic or for 10 million you can get Ballack , Deco , Toni , Pujol he'd take the latter......

True, but if one team is offering 5 mil while another is offering 50mil. I really doubt the player will end up playing for the 5 mil team nomatter how much love he has for that club.

This summer will be no different...it will be "bargain-basement" shopping.

The quicker we adjust to that reality, the better off we will all be.

Couldn't agree more I mean it's been this way since 2005 , Sheva left in 06 we didn't replace him in 06 we signed no1 really good , in 07 we got Pato one for the future and Emerson who bleed us dry for wages not his fault...In 08 we got Flamini Dinho Borri Zambro which on paper looks great but we know it wasnt Zambro was old Dinho not even a shadow of himself then , Borri is a 7-10 goal a season man , Flamini is a DM and does not much going forward but def he is good.In 09 We lost Kaka Gourcuff and Paolo and Carlo , Leo has done well but losing 3 players like this and not even attempting to replace them is criminal , thats what bothered me most about its not that Kaka was sold its that he wasn't even attempted to be replaced.
Same with Sheva so If Pato is sold to Chelsea he will not be replaced with the money the money will go on the books.

In these past 9 years we have signed...Pancaro , Cafu ,Stam , Rivaldo , Ronaldo , Emerson , Beckham , Favalli , Yepes ,Zambro thats more than 1 old player every year even though some came the same year , while some were good its not something you rely on added to that keeping Pirlo , Seedorf , Favalli , Kaladze , Janku , Inzaghi , Dida , Ambro , Rino , this is the club policy end of story....THIS IS HOW MILAN DO BUSINESS.

And this why when I see names like , Krasic , Fabregas , Dzeko , Torres , Hernanes , Fabiano , Bonucci , Ranocchia , Rafinha , Marchetti , Toulalan it annoys me because there is no way in hell that these guy's would come even if Milan offer what they are worth I have a hard time believing they will come.

The kind of players Milan will look to sign are Deco , Ballack , Toni , Klose , Gilberto Silva , Perotta , not players that will make difference the policy actually it isnt even that its just okay cheap players please take up the non EU spots with free African and South American players so we have an excuse not sign players who are from outside the EU and well all the top european players will stay so we will be okay again for another year.
