Sure Gabriel 489, I never said it was wrong either. His changing coaches and volcanic often controversial comments are what I referred to his "craziness".

Agreed with your investment part. After all Palermo was the one dare to pay € 10 mil for Pastore. Other interested club like MU pulled out because some (if not all) of his ownership is co-owned by some investment company. SAF might have had enough doing this complicated business from his prior experience with Carlos Tevez and Kia Joorabachian.

But the 50 mil (or whatever amount) buy-out clause will be added into Pastore's next contract, not the one he's tied to. So if any club wanting him must do so ASAP, and even now it will cost more than € 10 mil IMO

Dzeko is good and if he scores as many as Sheva then he is worth 40 mill , but you cannot go buy that and just pay 40 mil you have to really think about it all signs point to him being great, but if he isnt its a waste I don't think he'll flop but I also don't think he is as good as Torres Ibra Drogba Rooney yet.

The other point is will he fit our system , and lets be honest if Dzeko come for 4o mil then Hunter will be sold or If Dzeko come for 25 + Hunter then either way thats it for us buying wise. And while a great striker is a priority we will still have the same team as now almost except Kala is gone and they will be a year older and a year slower.

Who you have around you defines who you are as a player , Pato does well for us but if he played for Barca he'd score alot more you need good - great players around you and if Dzeko comes he will have Pato and maybe Dinho depending on if he gives up when he is not in the WC and it is over , Pirlo , Ambro , Rino , Flamini , Abate will not interact with Dzeko like Hernanes , Krasic , Pastore or Cassano imho.

Agree with you 100% about the others on a MIlan team. But lets take it step by step. After all, when Sheva first came to Milan, Milan did not win anything either.

What about the Perreira kid that we've signed? I didn't see anything on it yet and I don't think he has an EU passport so how are we going to sign him...The management better not waste another EU spot. In the last 2 years our Non-EU spots went to Sheva 76, Viudez, Adiyiah, Silva (who didnt play for 6 months because of Sheva + Viudez taking his Non-EU slot). We are a team that basically lives on our Non-EU players and wasting it like that is rather childish and unprofessional and amateurish.

Milan's being linked with Torres apparently but I won't believe anything I read because its Aprils' Fools day.

We sign guy's like Viudez , OLD Sheva , Cardaccio , Adiyiah as an excuse not to sign Dzeko , Krasic , Hernanes etc...

Also apparently if Leo does leave at the end of the season then Tassotti will take over it is april 1st but no real lie there.

What it does make clear is if Leo walks it will be because he will have no budget no new players and no hope of doing anything with the club.

Guy's you are talking about Torres Dzeko Ramos , and all we have done is signed another OLD player in Yepes 34 you see 34.
So lets stop talking about top quality players like mentioned because it is clear Leo will walk because of lack of funds well actually zero funds , I don't understand Berlusconi's thinking or Gallianis because there is a small window of opportuniuty here where players will still sign for Milan , I mean in 3 years we will have about 9 players because the rest will be retired are they going to shut down the club forever .

Leo has done brilliantly with what he has and is no yes man he asked for some transfers and I doubt he is looking for 100 million but it's looking like he has been told no.He looks really p1ssed off these passed few games , but he isn't a poor man and there will be plenty of offer's for him.
I really believe that Leo will not leave a club about to let him invest , but he will leave where he has gone as far as he has can with an over the hill team.
We will know how our mercato will be if Leo leaves in May.

The other thing is, as I did not make it all clear, that 40mil or even 50mil will be a good bargain if Dzeko delivers the goals and improve Milan for the years
to come
, like average 25-28 goals in all competitions year in and year out, help makes Milan into the 1/8 finals of CL every year and winning the CL at least twice while also a couple of Serie A titles. Of course if he turns out to be a bust even 25mil is too much. Point I was and am trying to make is that, a lot of us here are praising Dzeko to be the next big thing while at the same time these same people think he is over-price at 30mil. Which to me show that even them don't truly believe in Dzeko's ability.

Ofcourse it would be a huge bragging right if Milan can sign someone for 10mil and he turns out to be a golden booter for 5 yrs in a row....but reality is if Pato who Milan signed for 17mil or 20mil at the age of 17 with only 1 yr of PROFESSIONAL football exp in Brazil, then 40-50mil for someone like Dzeko is reasonable. Once again given that Dzeko succeeds in MIlan. I mean, if Pato struggles and is a bust, all of us will be screaming at Milan for wasting money on a kid who only played 1 yr of professional ball.

Now I am not a supporter for Dzeko nor his critics as I really have not seen enough of him to make any good judgment. What I know from watching football over the years is that being a successful striker is probably the hardest transfer to predict. As different systems and tactics will really have an impact on the performance of players esp. strikers.
Sure, but the point is that there's no guarantees here, just like there weren't any guarentees for Torres, Ibrahimovic etc. It's really a risk/reward assesment like it is with all investments, and you can't deny that there is a big risk with a striker like Dzeko, you don't have to look very long for 'the-next-big-things' flopping.

Also, about the Pato example, Leonardo was convinced that he was an extraordinary talent. There's a huge risk with a player like Pato ofcourse, because if he turns out to be a flop the resell value would be alot less than someone like Gilardinho, on the other hand Leo was just so convinced by his talents that the large price tag was justified.

Corriere dello Sport says the pair Tassoti-Galli will replace Leo if he leaves this summer. Yes, there is an april fools possibility.... but really, it seems like something likely.

If Leo leaves, it is probably because he understands the management will not invest. I dont know the truth of the ultimatum rumor, but he clearly knows this team needs reinforcements to acheive big things and that it doesn't look like happening. Honestly, I don't see what Galli and Tassotti can do better than him. Sure, they technically have more experience as managers having been assistants, but still... With a team of this calibre, I don't think much more can be done than Leo's achievements. Probably managers like Mourinho or Hiddink might of done things differently, but we still wouldn't be much better. So I dont see Tassotti-Galli as a wise choice. If anything, its a way to save money and keep the senators in the Milan "family".

In case Leo leaves Milan that, as you say, means Milan will not invest enough and he doesnt want to lead the team that simply cannot do what it is asked.

That also mean Leo will leave Milan as a club, and that will be another super brilliantly moronic move by Galliani who will use our best scout, that brought us brilliant players and hardly made any mistakes with his propositions of players, for once year as a coach and they make him leave the club.

After that we'll loose our connections in Brasil most likely.

Im saying IF, just so noone attacks me for "rumors".

^^^Its because they have no intention of replacing any of the 13 players that need replacing , they have also lost alot of money on gate receipts and you know maybe the books need balancing again.
All we have now is Silva , Hunter , Pato and Flamini that anyone will want .

But ultimately it looks as if it will be Yepes and whatever other free useless players we can get.....While Yepes would be okay against smaller weaker sides to give guy's a break I can honestly see him being a signing that they expect to play for the next 2 year's and maybe beyond.

OMG, totally!!! Just to summarize... if Leo leaves that means:

1. Galliani made him leave the club
2. Milan will not invest
3. We lose all ties with Brazil
4. Milan gets relegated
5. The world gets destroyed with giant fireballs from the sky
...
6. Inter wins the Champions League

Funny as your post was , if Leo does leave it will mean that he was forced out and there will be no investment.

Well, the latest news on this topic mentioned that Berlu and Leo reached a consensus - Leo doesn't leave and Berlu gives him what he wants (hopefully Torres, Sergio Ramos and Fabregas =)

Even if Leo decides leaves, it doesn't necessarily mean he will because of money / transfers.
He could leave because of disagreement with Berlu regarding tactics.

is it better to sign 1 defender(David Luiz or Miranda) or 2 defenders(Yepes+Astor)? The cost is almost same.Who do you prefer?

like Galliani,do you prefer 2 defenders?

Milan needs a starting CB who can partner Silva?not a useless sub to him,who even wont replace Silva%10's.

Dzeko is very good yet he doesnt cost much more than 24 m euros for me,40 millions is too much for him...

i'd rather to have Cacau and Chamakh or Adriano...

the last couple of days have left me sick with thinking we could be in for another horrible summer. Leo could possibly leave. Which I hope doesn't happen because I think he has gotten better as the season has gone on and he doesn't have much to work with. Plus him leaving will hurt summer moves. Tassotti and not an experienced coach would be his replacement. Dzeko seems to be moving away from us and Lukaku (although i dont know much about him) says he wont leave this summer.

Good quote from Criscitiello of tuttomercato saying that if Milan dont get Dzeko it will be embarrassing and show they are no longer a strong transfer market club (if we didnt realize this already the past few seasons). Roughly translated as this "the serious thing is that if Milan loses Dzeko means that the market would again Rossoneri downward and would also damage the image because it follows the player for more than a year."

Milan would sign Dzeko if he was 10 - 15 million he isn't Leo might leave and only if he is told no to all his requests. There is a few teams who will pay 30 million for Dzeko and up it to 40 million or just pay 40 million.

There is no way Milan are going to spend 40 million on Dzeko I personally don't think he is worth 40 million but it's a sellers market. You have to look at things the way they are we lost out on Cissokho who was costing 12 million because they wanted him cheaper made up a problem and tried to get him for cheaper. We sold Kaka for 72 million euro and Gourcuff for 15 million euro that's 87 million and around 6 million in Kaka's wage and 1 million in Gourcuff's wage and whatever Paolo was on lets say 5 thats 99 million (I know it may not be accurate) and spent 5 on Huntelaar as it was over 3 year's if i remember correctly.

We will lose out on Dzeko he is too expensive fair enough but no1 else will arrive it's so frustrating. With what we have now I don't see us finishing above 5th or 6th next year and thats without Leo ofcourse. The future doesn't look too bright just wait for Ballack to sign and Favalli to stay for one more year , even if Astori and Paloschi come back they are not good enough to make any difference.

If MGT just said we are no lopnger going to buy players we will sign free players if they want to come , the signing of Yepes is the future has been for awhile , but just admit it that there will be no good usefull players bought....I expect us to do a bit worse next year and in the next 2 year's to sell Pato and Silva.

And please no one say that Yepes is only backup and the youngsters are coming through because if they were good at 18 19 20 they would at least get a run out.
Because absolutely nothing I mean nothing points to a change there is no evidence of anything happening.
Im telling you Favalli will be offered one more year and the only they got rid of Kaladze is because Yepes is cheaper...
