I don't know how many teams in Serie A accept Favalli as starting CB.
Players like him are useful for 1, 2 matche(s), not week in week out. Milan's system is bad from the top to bottom, it is hard to upgrade. |

Huntelaar is too weak to play in this weak lineup.
If that waster Mancini is fit he should have started instead of Hunter. Now that we are 2-0 down he should come on for grandad ambrosini, the worst milan captain ever.

What a game? Once again no pressing and quite frankly, you can blame Favalli, Abate or Antonini all you want but it was really the midfield that resulted in both of those goals.
Rebuilding midfield is the key to a better team. |

Our biggest problem in the match has been the lack of help in midfield, leaving both Ambro and Pirlo exposed, never mind neither is playing well. Seedorf imo shouldn't have started and we should of played with a midfield of Pirlo, Flamini and Ambro. Why Leo keeps starting Seedorf of late despite our midfield looking much more balanced without him I don't know. Catania are working really hard and we're outnumbered in midfield.
Our defence is shambolic with panic in the backline everytime we're attacked. They need to get themselves better organised. However, with more support from midfield and less space in front of them they will find life a lot easier. As for the 2 goals conceded. The first was a lack of communication from the backline. In midfield we could have pressed better, but then on the throughball Favalli pushes up to play offside with Thiago (who needs to improve in this area) still unprepared. The second goal was a good counterattack, though I felt Dida should have come out when the ball was crossed. It was in an area he's expected to dominate. Finally, what disappointed me was we simply took too long to get into the game. It was only after about 20 minutes we finally looked like we'd have a chance. However, it's still looking unlikely we'll get anything as we're not attacking with enough numbers in the box and at the back we're very poor. |

dont only blame him, its a counter attack. the middle should cover it. he is not fast, we all know that but he is no nesta who can defend only with silva beside him.

No he is a waste of space, who's only redeeming quality is his heading (scoring) ability. But hes to old to run into the box to even do that these days. The only players with any real leadership quality are Nesta and Thiago Silva (sometimes Pirlo).

I want to say Milan's system (from president to players) has problems at every position. I am not really angry at Favalli, but his case is the sadest. |
