Not to mention that Milan wouldn't want to sign any of the inter players. We are a true "gentleman" club in the market these days, which means we can get raped by other teams but we will never do anything that makes other teams remotely unhappy. On top of that, we also have a negative transfer market budget every summer, so unless Moratti wants to pay us to sell Balotelli, Lucio, Samuel, Cesar, Cambiasso and Sneijder, we have no shot at getting them. The explanation would be "we are a gentleman club and we do not take advantage of others' misfortures" and "why sign Balotelli when we have Borriello?"

Everyone has already ruled Milan out of the race...everyone is talking about Inter are Roma. The Romans are talking about the year 2001 and they seem to forget that on the very last match day it was third placed Roma who won the Scudetto and not second placed Juve. Even back then people thought Inter were gonna win for sure and Juve might snatch it, but Roma weren't heavily favoured to win it.. and they did.

The difference though is, Milan have a mountain of tough games left whilst Roma & Inter have a walk in the park, relatively.

I'll still believe...even though our players are trying hard NOT to win with these pathetic displays (you must admit, it is very hard to have such low motivation and little will to run so consistently), but I'll keep in the faith in the handful of the players that are trying.

When talking about motivation, did anyone saw Real last night? It was like a friendly match and not a title-deciding match. All players casually walking.

That Pellegrini is the worst coach I saw in years, he's actually worse than rookie Leonardo, I'm really amazed.

But they have something in common: They both tend to play pressure football, but without "actual" pressure. Defenses are high up, but there's no pressure at all, attackers need to press opponent defenders with the ball, but in reality there're walking around. Pellegrini's system is really "interesting", he lets his defenders defend on the halfway line, and attack is just 10-15 meters in front of them, so he has all his players on 10-15 meters around halfway line, while opponent attackers freely move around and opponent defense, and playmaker, create the play without any pressure.

But, I'm not surprised there's a bad coach like that, what surprises me is that a "coaches" like that can earn amount of money they're earning, I'm sure there are better coaches than Pellegrini (and Leonardo also, excuse me for that) who earn 1000 euros per month.

There is no certainty that Leo will do better with Real than Real's coach now. People can't just use one single game as standard to judge the quality of a coach.

Lippi failed with Inter but Mancini did much better than Lippi. Simple fact but it can't be derived that Mancini is much better coach than Lippi.

Siregar, i think revolver has a point. Pellegrini is a good coach, bt i don't think he's better than Leo. I'm nt accessing him based on his performance at RM, cos he's done a quite remarkable job there, bt on his work at Villareal. He had a good thing going - a competitive squad from a small town, getting as far as the CL semi-finals in '06- and he blew it over a disagreement with his star player. If that isn't childish, i don't knw wat is.

Guys, I really good game to watch today in Brazil... The semi-finals between São Paulo and Santos. It start 16:00 Brazil's time.

2 different ways of to play football. São Paulo, more European like, and Santos in a way no other team play, even in Brazil.

Several players to watch: Hernanes, Jean, Miranda from SP, and Robinho, Neymar, Paulo Henrique Ganso, Arouca from Santos. Also, GK starter of Santos, is that boy Felipe, that some sites said in the past we bought. Keep in mind imo he's still very "green" to a jump to Europe. Santos also has a interesting DM/RB player in Wesley... very intriguing.

In a sad day like this Sunday(and after that frustrating El Classico of yersterday), at least a promise of amazing football... I hope

One and a half hour to start the game.

A mouth-watering game, Brasileiro. Kindly tell us what do you think of those names. Also do you know anything Lucas Dominguez Piazon of Sao Paolo? Footballpress reported that Milan is tracking this 16 year old AM. He's just a kid though, perhaps not yet included in senior team. Thanx in advance

The semis of the São Paulo State Championship, DUCO... called here Estaduais, and the one of São Paulo is by far the best one. In Brazil we have state championships at the start of the season. Also Copa do Brazil start this early.

You're right Nalx, he's just a kid, and I think only professional scouts saw this boy playing. I already heard about him, but can have a opinion because I'm still to see he playing. Fact is, If I'm not wrong, he is one of the young players of São Paulo that are battling with SP on Justice, because of a irregular contract signed. The other ones, and HUGE prospects are, Oscar, dubbed as the new Kaká(I hate this, but at least this Kid has the potential and similarities to be) and Diogo, that amazing LB prospect that played the last under-20 WC for Brazil.

Right now, they are free to sign with anyone... But, as the final decision of the court will take sometime, it isn't a smart decision to do this. Clubs are waiting, afraid to sign these boys. The team that do this, will gain a enemy in São Paulo, and with the risk to loose they on Justice ahead because the final decision(of the court) is yet to be decided.

Yep, after the game I will tell more about the players on the game.

And how do you know I refer just to last night's game?

It's not about failure, it's about his "tactics" and the way the players are behaving on the pitch.

Every good coach will tell you that you can do nothing by risking with playing your defense high when your strikers are walking around without pressing opponent player with the ball. Especially with two average CBs are playing in your defense. I was amazed how Barca made 3-4 chances by lobbing the ball over defenders, I wandered if Pellegrini ever saw Barcelona play. Also, every good coach will tell you that when your team can't handle opponent's midfield, you can't let 3 strikers staying up, because they're cut. Lyon eliminated Real because of the mistake, among others. Manchester beat us at San Siro because of that, but I don't blame Leo, because he's inexperienced and It's outrageous how he could became Milan's coach. But Pellegrini is experienced coach.

And, about behavior, last night there were many situations when a Barca's player thinking 1 minute what to do with the ball, with THREE Real players cooly standing 2 meters from him! No coach can accept such behavior, let alone Real's coach! Then, Higuain missed open goal against Lyon... Where's the authority there?! Who's the boss?!

Todays result hurt you gotta be beating Catania at home gotta be.I think if Milan had Messi Xavi Iniesta Etoo Henry then Dinho would look better as team's couldnt afford to have 4 players around him everytime he gets the ball , you can be a great player but sometimes your only as good as the players around you.And Pirlo Ambro Rino Seedorf look shot and Flamini should be playing more alot more he isn't the worlds best but he's better than Rino or Ambro pressing and fitness wise.
Whatever happens I'll support Milan it just will take a bit of getting used to relying on free and out of contract players but if thats what it will take.

If the players are good enough then great but some guy's we are linked to seems just because they are free , free is great but only if they are capable players. We need some steel creativity and speed in midfield our legless midfield leaves our attack and defence open and really isnt helping.

Dida IDK he makes saves no1 ever could make but at 6'6 or 6'7 cannnot catch a cross , he doesnt even have to catch it just get near it take everything out the ref will side with the keeper. Abbiatti doesnt instill me huge confidence either a keeper a great keeper they arn't as expensive as outfield players but change is good something we need in droves...

B&G need to clear out the team. Leave Pato and Thiago, then 4-5 older players for experience, the rest should be sold or released. HUNGRY (please no 'campioni') players should be purchased with about 30mil + watever we make from sales (though i doubt it would be much), and primavera players should be given a chance. The present squad cant seem to find the motivation to take advantage of merda's slip ups in the league, so maybe a new challenge is really needed. I'm sure they'll get just that in a new team/ league.

First of all, thanks for post this link, Rabia... I'm too lazy for that.

Diogo imo is a amazing LB prospect. As any young offensive FB, need to learn more about defending. But, whats important for me when a look for a young FB here in Brazil is, has Diogo the mentality to be a good defender? Imo, yes.

Why imo it's important? Because if you're soft and uninterested(defending), ther's almost no hope. Sometimes the kid is just clueless or not used to that job.

Look, Maicon was called here in Cruzeiro(by Cruzeiro fans) as Maicon Avenue... The guy was bad and clueless at defending. One year at Monaco and he was other player. But if you watched him in the past, you could have see the mentality and will to became a good one.

In the past, when they were hyped a lot, I craved here in MM that Cicinho and Ilsinho, even with European coaching, would never reach the level to be a FB in Europe. They(imo) were soft and uninterested, and the time proves me right...

You can't to teach talent for a fullback, but you can teach defending if he want, and I can see in Diogo this will. Hope he take a good decision and don't pull a Marcelo going to a club will bench you before to teach...

Back to the game, it will start!!
