Btw, Santos is killing another team, this time in Copa do Brazil, 4x0 at the first-half. Arouca, Neymar, Robinho and Ganso were amazing in the first-half. What a team to watch! Total domination!

Jucilei doing good also in Libertadores, but itś hard to watch Corinthians with Santos playing this type of football. Dorival junior for Brazil NT coach job!! I'm becoming a fan of this coach...

Thanks for the video. Yeah, that kind of video what I mean, defending performance like sliding tackling, stealing the ball from striker, winning the ball 1v1 with opponent, great position to get the ball long-passed by opponent, etc.

If Luiz is really something like new Nesta or something like that, we could probably have chance. We are still not very bad at getting brasilian super talent.

I know it looks like a crappy signing...but if Leo has whole summer to work with Mancini than he can become very important squad player. If Leo culd make Dinho work than why Mancini should be any different.

I welcome this news very gladly.

One more thing on the mercato.

This summer it will be different than the other mercatos.

At the very end of the season we will know for sure if we are planning to reinforce or to "balance the books".

If Leo is confirmed as a coach for next season he is getting what he wants, if not than it is clear that we are going down the same path again waiting for a miracle to happen.

It's good what Leo has done with Ronaldinho but Ronaldinho was far away above the level of Mancini. The best Mancini was still not that great. And now we want to sign a bad-form Mancini? It's not a good move IMO. Mancini is not a bad-form type of Crespo when he came to Milan, Mancini was only for during a little time in a good form. Mancini was not great player before but Ronaldinho or Crespo were.

Mancini (30 as the season starts) Yepes (34 didnt they not pay 3 million extra for Fabiano because as a statement said NO ONE again NO ONE over 25) Storari (meh) Astori (I have seen him make so so so many mistakes this season isnt fast and positioning is poor).

My view as how we could fix our problems, be a contender and invest cleverly for next mercato.

Yepes and Godin for the back with 0 investment, Simplicio for the midfield 0 investment

Hernanes - 15-20 mil
Dzeko - Huntelar (sold) plus at most 20 mil.
Fb -(the best will be scouting a cheap prospect) 5-10 mi max.

This is very realistic,very doable even for our stingy management

With 50 mil investment we can challenge for the scudetto for sure,even Cl if we are a bit lucky with injuries. Plus take in consideration that Dida,Kala,Favalli,Janku, Hunter most probably will be gone, so we cut a lot form the wage budget. The new comers should/will not earn 4 mil like Dida and Kaladze.

We can have this for next year

What we have done?

We have ourself a great Box-to-Box midfilder(replacing seedorf) , we have a creative midfielder in Hernanes replacing Pirlo. We have our big CF in Dzeko, plus we have the FB we are waiting for so long. In winter we can address the CD problem properly and in summer find a replacement for Dinho. and the rebuilding is done.

Don`t get e wrong, I agree with you..but knowing our management and the possibility that we don`t get a proper replacement for either Dinho or Pato,i`m will to take a a bet with Leo making him work.not mancini himself.

Yes, I understand what you mean. I will take option bringing back 1 of our young player (21-24 years old) who are now playing for small club or even promoting Verdi for the first team. If Leo could make Antonini and Abate the players like they are now (I am not saying Antonini and Abate are great fullbacks though , but they are really upgrading their performance and/or ability), he should be able to do similar to a player like Verdi or milan-owned young player from other club.

No I`m sure that we are splitting Mancinis wage with Inter. i`d gladly take Verdi over mancini any day..but i would not want to rush him in the first team and burn him. He has talent, u can tell but he is not still physically and mentally ready for senior squad IMO.

Agree there about Verdi but it seems for me that Mancini is even not our sub but more like second or third sub. So, Verdi should be able to manage this kind of responsibility regarding his condition you described.

Hmm, I thought Milan will sign Mancini. If so, it means that Milan pay 100% of his wages. Or the news told that Milan want to extend his loan?

Why spent 40mill on Dzeko when we can get Kurayani for free.

This would be great really great but you did say stingy MGT lol. There long term goal seem's to be make the CL spending as little as possible so free transfer's and recalling young player's is what we are realistically looking at if the out of contract players are good and work out great and Verdi looks promising , I did say the few times I saw him in the coppa he looked a bit like a headless chicken (if you get me) but it is a bit overwhelming playing for AC Milan at 17....But I wouldn't say that there will much if any investment it is only April so its pointless expecting real links with players.

If Pato does get sold (a big if its only paper and web talk) it will show a huge huge gigantic lack of ambition and competitivness on MGT's part , I mean Kaka being sold at 27 after 6 years and winning everything at club level and personal level but Pato at 20 and not after achieving anything with Milan before he has realised even half his potential will be the biggest transfer mistake I have ever seen Milan make.
