9.8mil in debt means they are going to sell Pirlo, if there is a taker.

I really can't wait for the summer in 2 years, where guys like Ambro, Nesta, Gattuso, Seedorf, Pippo and Abbiatti all can no longer even play as a strong sub, and see what Milan will do from then. If these past few yrs are any indication, they will most likely sign guys like Lampard, Gerrard, Drogba, Marquez, Rio, Buffon, Toni, and other over the hill freebies, just to say that, our squad is full of champions....
It is funny how Milan will be battling the MLS for football players, looks how the mighty has fallen.

This is the worrying part and looks like it might be true , they should just tell us youth or experience we'll say , or alternatively nothing...No more speculating from me because I honestly do not know what the future hold's I can't imagine how we will bring in quality players in that 22-27 age bracket as there seem's to be no money well not enough to make a difference.
Unless we get some free or cheap gem's next year the same as this actually barely 3rd or 4th but not worse than 5th which isn't what we expect but the next few years look like we'll be an average team like a Fiorentina or Palermo type of club success wise.

Just thinking WTF is wrong with Pato a thigh strain apparently that doesn't keep you out for most of the season is he made of glass , can he not play with the slightest amount of pain maybe its excruciating IDK but it seems excessive.

Apparently we're tracking Jucilei. Maybe Galliani is tracking this forum

Like the Brazilian Jucilei, confirms the former president of Corinthians

Jucilei (22), Brazilian midfielder for Corinthians, is a target market for AC Milan. The player who is reported as one of the best young men in his role as the Brazilian championship, has a contract expiring in May 2012. Other European clubs including Hamburg and Paris Saint Germain have been matched with Brazil. Milan in pole but it would seem, in fact during an interview with "Radio Globo", Joel Malucelli, former president of Corinthians, has revealed that Milan had reviewed the play. "The leaders of Milan have come to observe Jucilei recently and we know that players like - Malucelli said - but now we are out of operation, any decision lies with the Corinthians."

Jucilei is DM right? According some sources, we are tracking Athletic Bilbao's Javi Martinez who's also a DM, and from what I've heard about him, strong, not slow, technical, complete midfielder, great prospect.

Does this mean that we are seriously searching for a DM now?! It could easily be true if we are going for an all-technical midfield. Gattuso and Ambro are done, Flamini is great, but not technical and he has that bad habit of getting carded all the time... It could be a great move, because Pirlo could play a further up with a creative player behind him and wouldn't have to run and tire himself that much. Anyway, we would need another midfielder, but as Flamini would be a surplus, we could "exchange" him for some good midfielder a-la Hernanes.

Regarding our budget, I think there will be no major spending, i.e. goodbye Dzeko. We will spend 15-20 M max, plus some amount of money from sold players. But, in a situation like this, I would be pleased if we improve our midfield with Jucilei/J. Martinez and Hernanes, buy a side back (Aogo is told to be a hot prospect) and add some free players like Cacau. This is real to expect, because believe it or not, we will get 7-8 M for Kaladze, 2-3 M for Jankulovski, 1-2 for Oddo... It will be enough for a young DM, plus Flamini 15 M at least (Hernanes) and spend money for Aogo (10 M probably).

It is also possible that it is simply those journalists are following this forum and making things up for readers.

what i've read/seen of javi martinez. More box to box CM. he's 6ft3 (190cm) and really good driving forward. Scores goals, good technique. 1 negative... I did see him v. valencia and i will say he was a bit nonexistent. But i won't judge on one game.

Sidenote: If we got 1 spnish player i'd pray for David Silva. I think his game is perfect for italian trequarista. Excellent touch, vision, more sneaky/quick than fast. Almost a cross of Rui Costa/robert pires (random comparison i know)

Anyway out of fantasy land and back to javi martinez,

Silva reminds me of Sneijder...could do well

Tiago Silva can do that and better, if he played in midfield

Kim Kallstrom of Lyon, he is energetic, an excellent passer and has a deadly left foot. I think i remember someone wrote that his contract expires in 2010...does anyone have any news on him, has he found any potential suitors or has Lyon renewed his contract?

I saw that from other Milan forums too. I suppose it has to be true.

What the hell is wrong with the fans ?
The guy is 20, he has the right to party sometimes (he's injured, he has plenty of time, and it's more embarrassing to see Ronaldinho being the king of clubs, but not football clubs, at 30) ... and about his wedding, it's private life, we don't have to comment that actually, and anyway, he's young, being married so early often ends by a divorce very quickly (without mentionning the fact that Pato lives in Italy, and if I'm not wrong, his wife, or future ex-wife lives in Brazil).
