Princess Klaas Jan Huntelaar...did anyone see him during the game? being pushed off every single ball, and from the only chance he gets in the 6 yard box, he misses? What the hell is the point of him if he cant put those chances away? That's like his only quality and he still couldnt do it. Galliani did unfortunately say he's planning on keeping Boriello and Huntelaar for next year, let's hope it's one of his many lies. Huntelaar isn't old and can still be sold for a good amount (or traded for Dzeko, Bale).

When Pippo came in, he was in 3 golden chances within 5 minutes. Why the hell hasn't Pippo been playing all this time?

Seedorf was the only good player last night for Milan, but still he is not good enough. Pirlo in particular was pathetic. Ronaldinho - awful, but he did put an effort in the second half but still awful. I believed in Mancini but he's proved to be just as awful. Zambrotta? He still thinks he's got the speed to do all the dribbles he's been attempting, thats why he's failed on every single occasion last night (and the past month).

Did you guys see how Pastore was toying with Gattuso???? He nutmegged him and had on the ground on 3 different occasions, how pathetic by our "warrior".

I dont know what it takes to make the management realize that a revolution is necessary. Milan has 3 games left and is 6 points off Palermo in fourth place (if Samp win tonight we'll be 4 points off Samp). There's is not only a chance we can end up fourth, but we can also end up fifth if Samp and Palermo win their remaining games. (yes even if they are playing each other in 2 weeks, because there are 3 games left)

And now....having said all that.....I also want to point out that although I focused on Oddo, I never blame an individual for a defeat. Because for Oddo to be in the position to commit those mistakes the ball had to somehow make its way to Oddo. Which means someone else along the field commited a mistake before Oddo got a chance to commit his. So this defeat goes on to many people. From Gattuso's inability to do anything in attack and starting to be weak and slow defensively......to Dinho's lazyness at times. From Inzaghi's ridiculous finish and sleeping in offside positions......to Huntelaar's inability to have ANY kind of positive impact on the game in 90 minutes. From Jankulovski's dissapearing performance...to Zambrotta's fall from the throne and horrible crosses. From Seedorf's sloppy performance....to Leo's inability to recognize that Oddo should not be a CB........etc, etc, etc,.

I think you get my point.....so let's just hope that we finish 3rd and then pray for a good off-season.
You're overreacting, but you said it well in the last paragraph.

I saw the goals, and I think many of you are too harsh on Oddo.
First goal, yes he lost his man, but T. Silva is as guilty as Oddo, even more, as he lost Kjaer (he was positioned too much away from him actually) and Oddo went for overtaking Kjaer, so Bovo was left alone. When Silva lost Kjaer, he should cover back post, because there was no way he can catch up Dane, it was too late.
Second goal, well he is guilty, he needed to clear the ball right away.
and third goal, Oddo was far away from Miccoli, but or midfield is to blame too, we can see both Seedorf and Gattuso standing and waiting for Liverani to think and make a pass. Dida was not positioned good too.

I think many people here want to take out their frustration by putting all the blame on one player, when in reality our all team sucks a big time. Many of them are tired and there's no play actually. Leonardo tried to change something, but unfortunately whenever he tries something other than 4-3-3 it happens to be ridiculous.

And Hitman, what do you expect from the guy who rarely gets time to play, and whenever he gets some playing time it's most of the time out of position, and even when he scores a great goal, important to give him some confidence, he's substituted after 45 minutes?! I don't want to defend Huntelaar, he could do better, but Leonardo destroyed his confidence.

Our next opponent Fiorentina also lost their second consecutive games. They've been really horrible this year. It's interesting to see what will happen when these two burnt-out teams meet next week

Fiorentina might be without a few players in def because of injuries.

If I was in Leo's shoes I'd drop R80, and play 442.

It gives more cover in mid, and balances out the lack of tactical awareness running through the team.

Injuries aside I would play

Abbiati,
Antonini Albertazzi Silva De Vito

Abate Flamini Ambrosini Seedorf

Hunter Borreillo

Subs: R80, Pirlo & Verdi.

I don't believe in inzaghi or mancini....

What I meant was I believe that we will be in 2010-2011 CL group stage, when this season's serie A is over. There is some slight chance that we might not end in top 3 this season (Palermo might surpass us as 3rd), so we will have qualify through preliminary stages to get into the final 32.

Did that confuse you with 2010-2011 Serie A & 2011-2012 CL group stage?

Samp are beating Roma. Well done to them for making a contest of the scudetto, but Inter were always going to win it, despite Mourinhios attempts to mess it up.

You are right, I might be overreacting. But there is no way that we are too harsh on Oddo. All three goals involved him. That's unacceptable in a professional game. You might make a big mistake and cause a goal during a game. It happens to everyone. You can even make two....but three? in one game? Like I said.....for my standards that unacceptable. But anyhow, like I said I don't ONLY blame Oddo. Way too many people are not performing up to the standard and it's no secred that our team is a mess when we've only won 1 in the last 7.

As for the quoted part above.
There are two ways to defend a corner in my book. Zone marking and man-to-man. Milan is defending man-to-man. That's what we've done this season and that's what we did on this occasion against Palermo. So when you mark man-to-man you make sure you stay with your mark. There is no switching and you can't decide you are going to pick someone else's mark because they lost him. And certainly you don't go to cover the back post when you lose your man. But you do your best to stay with him and and least MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR HIM TO SCORE if you can't clear the ball. The perfect example in yesterdays case is Zambrotta. Who lost Hernandez and fell behind BUT stayed close to his mark to make it difficult for Hernandez to do something great on the ball which resulted in a missed header. UNFORTUNATELY for us Oddo didn't do the same and that same header ended up with Bovo who had time to stop the ball and score.

Now I said that Silva did bad on the same play too because he lost his mark (Kjaer). But Silva got lucky because his man didn't do anything that time. That doesn't take away from the fact that Silva could have defended better, but again he is lucky that his unmarked man didn't do anything. So it is what it is. Maybe you see the situation differently (the corner incident) but this is the way I see it.

We agree on one thing though, and that's the fact that this team (collectivelly all together) is playing like sh!t. The only difference is that I don't really blame Leonardo for it although when you've only won 1 game in the last 7, the blame is shared across the board.

Considering that his game is based upon distributing the ball, I think that is a little unfair (not that I thought he played great or anything). Who is he supposed to pass to? The skinny guy that gets pushed off the ball by a stiff breeze? The stout guy that stands around watching, perhaps thinking about the party he's going to that evening? Or the guy that succesfully impersonated an invisible man the whole time he was in the game?

Roma at second. Inter close to doing the treble. Milan close to nothing and eventually losing the third spot. I m getting mind fuked here. A few weeks ago we were discussing about title aspiriations and now we are discissing about CL qualification and am not very sure what we are going to discuss about in a few weeks time and thats how unpredictable Milans performances have been over the last few weeks. Pathetic. B&G are pure ****s. I hope they sign Kaladze and Oddo for another 100 years or maybe even more and we can proudly say that we have a team of "Champions". Forza Milan.

Honestly, if Inter manages to win the treble, well credits to them.
In CL, they would have beaten Chelsea, Barcelona and Bayern/Lyon to win the title.
In Serie A, they needed to finish strong which they are doing, unlike ROma and Milan.
As for Coppa, well, Good Job.

lol I had to actually check the teamsheet to remind myself of who you were referring to when speaking of the invisible man as I simply couldn't remember.
