I was all against Oddo as a CB, but I wasn't for Albertazzi to start too. Leonardo had to make a choice, he did it. Both were a big risk.

It's a big risk, I agree. Oddo had played as CB in the game before against Palermo and he didn't perform so well. So, the choice were to play an experienced player but joke defensively and hope he could turn to be a good CB from a joke fullback or to choose a young player that naturally not experienced and hope he could handle the pressure. I choose the second option.

Look at what some very bad performances have done to him !! The peak of his bad form was his game against Italy with his Georgian NT.

Actually that was the best time with best alibi if the young CB played bad or similar. Leonardo could find things to support the young player easily since it was an important game and there was completely no choice at all. Our players should actually understand the situation. We had no choice. If Ambro were there, he would take the CB spot but we had no CB, no DM and only have Oddo who was not a CB and also not in a good form. This is not the situation that we have for example a senior CB but not that good regarding the quality of the player (like Kaladze for example) but that was about having no capable player at all to play as CB.

If Kaladze was availabe and played in that game instead of young CB, I still understand and will agree.

This part you're referring to there wasn't about the debate on "young vs old crappy player" but about the pressure to handle and the problems a bad performance can cause to a player.

I just used an experienced player, Kaladze, to show you that it can only be worse with most of the young players who have no experience at all.

Sous contrat jusqu’en 2011, le latéral gauche Taye Taiwo n’a toujours pas prolongé son contrat avec l’Olympique Marseille, du coup un départ l’été prochain est trés envisagé. Le Milan AC effectuerait un gros pressing auprès de l’entourage du joueur pour négocier la venue de l’international nigérian.

Côté marseillais, en cas de bonne offre, on pourrait le laisser filer. En effet avec Stéphane Mbia dans l’axe et Gaby Heinze à gauche, Taye Taiwo ne devrait pas être un titulaire indiscutable.

Concernant une eventuelle indemnité de transfert, elle serait estimée à 12-15 millions d’euros.

I do think his bad performance more or less were influenced by the murder of his brother and of course the ability of him to play as CB. He was having good performances when there was any world class CB beside him. Of course making same mistakes every game can influence a player but one bad game shouldn't be a reason for a player to play bad in the next games.
