This sale of Milan is the only way Milan can be great again. Bur Im afraid they will take all the money from the club they can before selling it. Which means that we could sell Pato. From hige Silvio's love for MIlan all that now matters are "books". Or to put it this way: money.

I also dont like this news that Milan could be sold in the next 2,3 years. It would be good that the new investor perhaps comes into the club now and slowly buys off the entire club ( if that is the plan ). 2,3 more years without money is something we really dont need.

Maybe the new owner can present himself with Fernando from Liverpool

I really want Altintop in Milan. Of course, it's only a dream. Well, maybe not, but not before he's 35.

Many posts ago i had mention the Altintop brothers (especially Hamit) as very usefull players who could assist milan and were inexpensive... but as we all know this Milan management is hell bent on hanging their hats where they cant reach it...(or so they say!!!)

The Albertazzi/Oddo debate has dragged on for a while but i just want to add my little 'contribution'.
Geo's right, under no circumstances should a 19 year old be made to face a tough opponent on his debut. If the coach decides to take the risk, one of 3 things will happen:
1) he'll have a good game.
2) he'll have a decent game.
3) he'll be absolutely slaughtered and have a nightmare match.
If the 1st 2 occur, no problem. But if no. 3 occurs, his confidence in himself will be dented, his teammates' and fans' opinion of him wouldn't be too pretty. One question Siregar, if you hadn't watched Albertazzi before the Palermo match, and he played that day and was roasted by the Palermo attack, or was at fault for 2 or 3 of the goals (like Oddo) what would your opinion of him be? Bearing in mind that first impressions last longer, who knows how long it might take you to finally accept the boy! So i agree with Leo's decision (doesn't happen too often!) to not field Albertazzi.

If he did fail against Palermo, I still support him. Mistakes from newbie is totally logic but not from so experienced player. As I said, Oddo was joke as fullback and didn't play well in the game before Palermo's game, so why still kept using him as CB?

For me there were only two possibilities:
1. He failed in that game. No need to cry, that happen a lot to young player. The young player shouldn't always think he is next Maldini and regret so deeply about his fail. Point is, only a good character young player can overcome the fail (well, the fail is not such a big barrier, no need a super character to be able to go through it).
2. He had a decent game. This means that he succeeded. Good job for him. If he surpass the expectation (which means he played well), he should be counted for next games.

Last year or two years we linked a lot with big names or at least names that we were familiar with although none of them (or only 1-2 of them) came to Milan. This season we link with unknown players.

Viera is a GK who wasn't able to play to Villareal, Larissa took him in a season which they avoided going to second category.... is a laughing GK for Milan eevn for the top Greek clubs....

Galliani told the press (i don't know where sorry) that they respect Pippo and will sign with him another one year....

Hamit Altintop, the Bayern Munich player, will be free this summer. He is amazing and a player I would LOVE to see at Milan. He is so versatile, it's not even funny. Literally, he can play as a winger, a CAM, a CM, a RM in a 3 CM format, and even a RB! Honestly, if there was a free player that I would LOVE to have come to Milan, he is the one.

Another free player this summer, someone Giorgos has seen from his hometown club, is Shikabala. His time at PAOK he was a little undisciplined, but, he has really benefited from the care of Hossam Hassan at Zamalek (in Egypt). He is a real talent and a player that Napoli are looking at very seriously. He's left footed, but can play on either right or left wing, as a CAM, or as a second striker if needed. Fast, pacey, and full of tricks, he really is an exciting player.

Another player that is free that we could go for is Julio Sergio from Roma. He has played really well, and I feel like it would be worth a 2 year contract.

If our "mercato" was:

Altintop (free)
Shikabala (free)
Yepes (free)
Astori (buy half)
Paloschi (buy half)
Aogo (5m)
Mexes (10-12M)
Julio Sergio (free)

I would be amazingly happy. Our squad would be a lot deeper, and would look like this:

GK: Abbiati, Julio Sergio, Roma [sell Storari]
RB: Aogo, Bonera, Oddo (?)
LB: Antonini, Zambro, De Vito
CB: Thiago, Mexes, Nesta, Astori, Yepes, Onyewu, Albertazzi

AM/W: Dinho, Shikabala, Verdi
ST: Hunt, Borri, Paloschi, Pato, Zigoni

I agree about Altintop.

He had a good game today, but that's not what's causing me to say this. I've seen him play a lot including at his time in Shalke. He's always done good things whenever I've watched him although he is not a world beater. But the fact is that he is a very very useful player to have in your squad and like Samaldinho said......a lot of times that I've seen him he's played in a different position and done well.

So like Samaldinho said.....if there is a good player for free this summer, then Altintop has to be looked at.
