For the World Cup, I would say "Galliani, get out of Milano84's body !!" ... it's the most ridiculous competition in the world: each year, the European and the South American champions play one game against an average/bad team and play each other in "final" !!

Pato did well in Brasiliero, maybe, I don't know as I hardly manage to watch games from the Brazilian league(s) or the Copa Libertadores (too late or too early, don't really know) ... but he still did well in his first season, so we can't say he was a proven player !!

Even nowadays, Pato isn't a proven player yet ...

right but difference between paulista and brasiliero is like comparing copa italia proven and serie A proven.

you mean morale and motivation, or you mean comparing serie A to Serie B , C which is not the case.

I'm just saying it's ALOT for a kid who has not shown it in main brazilian league, south american cup or international stages. No European club (except city who r desperate for attention) will pay over 20 mil for a kid who hasn;t done those things...

pato had, robinho had. Where they proven? Iunno depends on your definition, but hey atleast played well in higher level than paulista.

Some teams(today) can refuses cheap or average offers. In the near past, it was impossible, but with our economic situation(and the crisis in Europe) more team can keep their players if the money isn't good.

Brazilians clubs still need to learn from Argentine clubs, they are masters in hyping players. A guy like Otamendi for 15 is a joke.
Last season they sell to Corinthians "a new Messi"(M. Defederico) and the player can't even get bench time

Shame clubs like Cruzeiro, Grêmio and Fluminense care less about it, and sell several gems for bananaś money.

You're right about several points, Milano.
Before Club WC, Pato had some amazing games in Brasileirão, and after the world Cup, in Sul Americana(Europa League)... Also, he shined in South America Super Cup. Pato(like Neymar, Ganso, Arouca today with Santos) was leading his team in all level of competitions.

But when Carlo goes to watch him in under-20 WC in Canada, he disappointed. To be fair he shined against Spain, but I still remember that character that loves to troll in "Kaka's father..." thread bashing Pato and saying we were crazy to buy him.

Back to your point, it's clearly dangerous to pay much for a player that only shine in States Championships... unless they deliver in the Classicos. Thats was the main reason I was calling Keirrison overrated last season. Tearing up against small teams in Paulista but disappearing in the Classicos or in Libertadores.

Brasileirão shows the real level of a Brazilian player... or Brazil's Cup where a chance to play in Libertadores force teams put the best they have(unlike Europe).

Ganso, Neymar, Arouca one more time shined yesterday, against Atletico Mineiro(big club) with a 3x 1 victory and jumped to semis of Copa do Brazil. Thats shows a lot about them.

I would defenitly go for Neymar but he his probably 20 mil

AC Milan have beaten Europe's biggest clubs for Vojvodina goalkeeper Lazar Petkovic.

The 15 year-old was confirmed as a Milan signing this week.

Brasiliero what do you say about the possibility that Ganso replaces Dinho in Milan abeling (sp?) us to play 4-3-1-2 with Pato back to left CF.

Selling Dinho would make us some real money ( maybe 15-20mln ) and he has 8mln wages also. If there is some truth in P. Leon transfer ( and lets say he has potential and talent as people say he has ) we could have 2 new and fresh players in our midfield, and even more, we could chance the formation to more firm and compact shape that is better for this Milan considering the !quality" of our fullbacks.

Ganso has ability to gain italian passport I've read somewhere. If Arouca is 3mln and if that is REALLy possible, we are crazy not to take advantage of it.

Ganso, Arouca, Leon, Pirlo, Flamini, Ambrosini, Seedorf as a sub player... that is a huge upgrade of squad quality to our team. Leon is 8mln, Arouca 3, Huntelaar and Dinho are not some 3rd class players, we can get some real money for them...

Also I'd be surprised if Galliani doesnt go for Mexes, considering the fact he was always in awe of the player.

We dont need Torres, Ribery etc., we need smart buys as Inter did this year with Motta, Milito, Lucio, Sneijder...
